Car accident
Thanks1216 asked for a oneshot of Emma and Killian in a car crash on their way to the movies. Killian has to call an ambulance and later at the hospital Emma asks him to call her parents. They arrive just as Emma is going in for surgery.
"Oh thank Poseidon Emma you're finally awake." Killian said, relieved. Emma had passed out after hitting her head off the weird bag that came out of the steering wheel. They'd been on their way to see the new Taylor Schilling and Adam Scott movie The Overnight when a dog had appeared on the road. Emma had slammed on the brakes and although the car had stopped before hitting the animal both she and Killian were clearly injured. "Emma, your head's bleeding." Killian said, panicking. His leg was in agony, but he was more worried about Emma.
"How long was I out?" Emma said, feeling weak. Her head was pounding.
"I-I don't know. No longer than a few minutes."
"Good. You need to call an ambulance. Take out your phone. Dial nine-one-one and ask for an ambulance. The person who answers will take you from there."
"Alright love, but I know enough about head injuries to know that you can't fall asleep, stay with me now." He said, shaking Emma's leg lightly as he followed her instructions.
Killian managed to direct the ambulance to the sight of the crash. Fortunately the car was in a good enough state that neither he nor Emma had to be cut out of it. It was a quick ride from the sight to the ambulance, where two stretchers were waiting to take them to separate teams of doctors and nurses to deal with their injuries.
"I'll see you as soon as I can love." Killian said, as Emma was put onto the stretcher. "Stay strong."
"Call my parents!" Emma called after him as she was wheeled into the hospital. "Or get someone else to!" Killian turned to the nurse closest to him.
"Well I'll entrust that job to you then." He said. "I trust everyone in this town knows who Snow White and Prince Charming are?"
Emma hadn't felt so alone in a long time. She was being prepped for emergency surgery to fix an internal bleed when her parents came rushing into the room.
"Mom! Dad!" Emma called, relieved to see them.
"We just got called and told to come here, that you and Killian had been in an accident. Whale told us when we arrived that you're having surgery. Emma, everything's going to be ok honey. We'll be right here waiting for you when you wake up." Emma nodded, unable to speak. Everything was going so quickly. She was wheeled away again before she had more of a chance to speak to her parents, she was just grateful Killian had made sure they would be there when she woke up and really needed them.
