Tuttut cheerio asked for a oneshot of Rosie falling at the park and breaking her ankle. Emma rushes her to hospital but Rosie doesn't want her parents to find out. However, they're at the hospital with Neal getting a tetanus shot and aren't pleased that they weren't told.
"I still don't get why you won't let me tell mom and dad about this." Emma sighed as she piggybacked Rosie to the car.
"Well obviously they're going to find out, but I want them to find out as late as possible." Rosie responded.
"What that means is you want more time to think of a good excuse as to why you were wearing those heelies despite being told by mom and dad you weren't meant to and only telling me that after the accident?" Emma pointed out. Rosie went silent as Emma got her into the front passenger seat of her bug. "I thought so. Those trainers aren't looking so uncool now are they?"
"Whatever, just please get me to the hospital. This is agony!"
"Stepping on it, little sis."
Emma went as fast as she could to the hospital, grateful for the wheelchair that was quickly provided for Rosie. But the good feeling was quickly diminished when Emma heard her and Rosie's names called. She froze on the spot and turned round, hoping against all hope that she was wrong about who had called her name. But no such luck, it was their parents.
"What is going on here?" Snow asked.
"Never mind why we're here, why's Neal here?" Rosie asked, trying to deflect the attention from her.
"You knew he missed the shot day at school because he had that viral infection, we came to get it here. Now what has happened to your leg?"
"She didn't tell me she wasn't meant to wear her heelies." Emma said, selling Rosie out. "She's hurt her ankle. She made me promise not to tell until she could come up with a better excuse."
"Emma!" Rosie complained. Weren't sisters meant to have a code?!
"Sorry sis, but it's every man for themselves now. I'm already in the dog house, at least now I'll escape the cold shoulder. Oh look, there's your nurse Rosie." Emma quickly let go of the handles to the wheelchair and let the nurse wheel her sister off with her parents nagging her at either side, feeling like she'd dodged a pretty big bullet.
