The C word- part 2
Charmings4ever asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch665 "The C word". So again trigger warning of cancer being a main theme in this chapter.
Emma knew the chemotherapy was going to help make her better, but that didn't stop her feeling lousy right now. She could hardly get out of bed most of the time. She was barely able to tilt her head to the side to aim her vomit into the bucket. And then the day came where she took her head off of the pillow and found clumps of hair had fallen out of her head in the night. Emma knew at that point there was no point in crying over spilled milk and the best thing to do was just have it all shaved off. Sitting in the living room with her mother holding her father's buzzing razor was a hard one for Emma. She knew when she saw her bald head it would cement it for her: that she was a cancer patient. Although the moment was made slightly easier for her by both of her parents honouring their promise to shave their heads as well. Henry had also wanted to shave his, but Emma insisted that he didn't. She wanted Henry as unaffected by all of this as possible. The road ahead was still a long and painful one, but throughout it all Emma was never facing any of it alone. Without that tremendous support she was receiving, Emma was fairly certain she would not have been able to cope at all. But here she was: and she would fight this with everything she had.
