A calm & serene silence stretched over Kuoh Town as the first rays of sunlight peaked over the horizon, the silence broken now & then by the rushing footsteps of the few businessmen & women already awake at this early hour.
However, as the rays touched the home of a god, two Kyubi and a Valkyrie, a loud explosion echoed in the air as dust slowly began to settle.
Theo sighed as he ducked under a claw slash at his face, his leg snapping out in a leg sweep which missed Yasaka as she elegantly back flipped over the attack & away from Theo.
"You sure we should be doing this?" Theo asked with a concerned frown as he pointed to his side, a portal appearing besides him before torrents of Phlegetron's waters shot out only for them all to be sealed away as Rossweisse waved her wand with a giggle.
"Yes. Unlike female humans, Kitsune are only removed from fighting on their last month as our youjutsu lets us fight without worrying about injuring the child."
"On the other hand, I'm only using a spell here & there as most of a Valkyrie's divine aether is used to fuel & help the fetus develop as soon as she's pregnant."
"Then you're definitely not allowed to fight. Nope, Kunou. We got a rogue one."
"On it!" Kunou saluted to Theo with a serious look as she marched over to Rossweisse before huffing as she planted her fists on her hips & pouted at the Valkyrie, who sighed with an exasperated smile as her wand disappeared and she let the girl lead her to one of the four cushions on the porch.
"Oh, and Kaa-san was lying. According to Kurama-nii-chan, Kitsune women aren't allowed to fight as their yoki & touki is used to make sure that both the mother and the baby are able to survive the pregnancy."
"Traitor!" Yasaka exclaimed with a pout & a glare before she sighed as Theo turned to her with a frown, sighing as she was swooped into a bridal carry before being placed down right next to a giggling Rossweisse.
"Just for that, you're both on house arrest. As long as my children are growing inside you two, that means I'm responsible for taking care of you two whether you like it or not."
"I don't like it." Yasaka grumbled and Rossweisse nodded in agreement, to which Theo just snorted before he blinked as he remembered something.
"Oh, yeah. Uh, before I left, I may have told my mother of your pregnancies and she may have told me that she was coming back."
"Wait, really?! When?! I need to make sure everything is ready!"
*KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK* *KNOCK*
"Oh, like today." Theo finished with a sheepish grin, chuckling as Yasaka glared at him for not giving her enough time to prepare before they all sighed as the familiar voice of Isabella echoed throughout the house.
"Theseus Richards! Why are you not at the door to greet your poor mother?"
"Theseus, just come and say hi before your mother decides to kill you & then me for no reason." Theo blinked as he heard his father's voice as well before snickering as he heard the man grunt, knowing that the noise was from one of his mother's signature side elbows.
"Granny Isabel!" Kunou exclaimed and Theo groaned as he watched her run away, a giggling Yasaka and Rossweisse following after her as the god sighed.
"Great. Now, I can't hide away from them."
"You brought this on yourself." Yasaka spoke with a teasing smirk, Theo not answering as he just grumbled whilst following the duo through the large house & towards the front entrance.
Greeted by the sight of his mother cooing & hugging a giggling Kunou while Poseidon just looked amused, Theo cleared his throat & caught both of their attention.
"Hello, mother, father. I thought you said tomorrow?" Theo asked his mother while staring pointedly at his father, the god of the sea shrugging as his mother snorted.
"As if this idiot can keep me from my idiot son & future grandchildren. Now, then. You three come with me and we'll get to finally talk about my grandbabies and your weddings. Sei, keep our stupid son out of trouble."
"Wait, weddings?!" Rossweisse exclaimed in shock, Isabella just giving a teasing grin as she pulled her & Yasaka away while Kunou skipped happily after them.
"…Want to go get a drink?" Poseidon asked his son, chuckling as the young god just nodded with a sigh.
"Yeah. I might need it later when she decides to get my measurements for a suit."
A few minutes later:
Black Dog BAR:
"…Why am I not surprised to see you here?" Theo muttered as he & Poseidon walked into a bar on the high-end side of the city, sighing at the sight of Azazel & Odin laughing merrily as they drank from whiskey glasses before Azazel exclaimed at the sight of Theo.
"Hahahaha! Theo! Where have you been, friend?!"
"Busy fighting a war against Thanatos and his army of Grim Reapers & Artificial Devils." Theo answered bluntly with a shrug, Azazel snorting while Poseidon sighed in relief as he fell into the soft chair on the free side of Odin.
"I see ruling the seas isn't as easy as you made it out to be when you first became God of the Seas, is it little sea-weed?"
"Next time I tell you something is going to be easy, you punch the shit out of me."
"With pleasure." Odin said with a grin, Poseidon chuckling before nodding at the waitress who placed a glass of rum in front of him.
"And what can I get for you, sir?" The waitress asked Theo with a sultry smile, the god just smirking as he answered.
"Whiskey, single, on the rocks. Also, I'm going to have to warn you that unless you want a Kyubi & a Valkyrie after your organs, I'd stop flirting with the idiot in front of you."
"O-Of course, my apologies." The waitress stuttered out with a nervous look and Theo chuckled as he nodded.
"No worries. Just a warning for a friend." The waitress quickly nodded before rushing away, Theo rolling his eyes as he felt Azazel's glare on him.
"Ask away because I know you're not going to be able to stop yourself."
"I still can't believe you managed to score with one of the three most desirable women in existence."
"Hey, that's the mother of my future child you're talking about there." Theo said with a frown, smiling at the waitress as she had placed his drink down before rushing away as Theo picked his glass up.
"Wait, you're already thinking of having children?" Azazel asked with a smirk and Theo didn't answer as he took a sip from his whiskey, sighing in bliss at the comfortable burn in the back of his throat before chuckling as he shook his head.
"No, we are having one."
"Please, tell me you got the virgin pregnant too?" Odin asked with an eager smile before cackling as Theo kept silent with a smirk on his face, Azazel groaning as Poseidon chuckled.
"Yes! She won't get to bother me about my activities any more."
"Is that any way to speak to your former right-hand woman?" Theo asked with an amused smirk, though there was a slight edge in his tone as Odin snorted.
"Not at all. In fact, I see her as the daughter I never had especially with her family being distant from her since she didn't inherit the full power of their spirit magic, but the girl needed to relax & you gave her that opportunity. Now, I'll get to relax & be left to do as I please while she lives her best life with you & Yasaka. That reminds me of a question every one wants to know. …How are they?" Odin asked with a perverted smile, Azazel leaning in & Theo rolled his eyes as he saw his very own father & every man in their immediate vicinity paying attention.
"I'm not going to discuss the breasts of Yasaka with other men."
"That good, huh? Damn, they must feel wonderful." Odin said with a knowing grin, chuckling as Theo just sighed while the other men gave perverted giggles with him.
'Why is every powerful person in this world either childish, a pervert or both?'
Later that day, Midday:
Hyoudou Residence:
Issei groaned as he finally awoke from his sleep before his eyes widened as he remembered the last thing that happened, that being him fighting against Thanatos while using his new Heavenly Crimson Awakening.
Quickly rushing to sit upright, he hissed as a stab of pain flashed through his abdomen, looking down before frowning at the sight of kanji patterns drawn across his upper body.
"Issei." Asia's soft voice knocked him from looking at the tattoos as he looked up, seeing the blonde girl standing at the entrance of his/ their room before he smiled softly as the girl rushed in & wrapped her arms around his neck in a tight hug.
"Hey, it's nice to see you too." He whispered as he wrapped his arms around the sobbing girl before smirking as the bed shifted before another pair of arms wrapped around his waist, this pair having muscle definition to it before he turned & stared at Xenovia.
The bluenette looked back at him with a cute glare that made him smile softly as he turned & wrapped an arm around her, softly pulling both girls down with him back onto the bed.
It took a few minutes for Asia's sobs to turn to her sniffling and another few before it was just them lying on the bed while Issei stroked their backs softly.
"So, how are you two doing? No injuries?" Issei began softly and the two girls shook their heads.
"Asia was a bit exhausted, but that was from overusing her Sacred Gear and I had to help with gathering up the rogue exorcists that tried to escape, so I suppose that was a bit tiring. Although, I have to admit it was not as bad as nearly ripping your soul apart from using Heavenly Crimson Promotion. I thought you said it was a work in progress.." Xenovia spoke with a glare aimed up at him, to which Issei gave a sheepish chuckle as he shrugged and made her sigh.
"T-Thankfully, my Sacred Gear was able to help you heal physically while Yasaka-san came & helped restore your soul with her spiritual healing."
"Wait, doesn't that mean she'd had to be…you know…naked?" Issei asked and Xenovia snorted as Asia giggled & shook her head.
"Usually, yes, but thanks to Theo-sensei fuelling her spell, she only had to place a hand on your head to fully heal everything."
"Ah, that makes more sense." Issei spoke with a nod, though he had to admit there was a slight tinge of disappointment that he couldn't have been naked with Yasaka.
Hey, he most definitely feared his sensei, but even he had to admit that he didn't have the willpower to give up a chance to be naked next to easily the hottest woman he knew.
No disrespect to Rossweisse-san of course, but he was a man of oppai and Yasaka-san had the biggest pair he has ever laid his virgin eyes on.
He was not given more time to pursue that thought as a flash of pain on his thigh brought him out of his daydreaming, looking down before giving a sheepish grin as Asia pouted at him while pulling her hand back.
"Y-You were thinking of Yasaka-san's breasts, weren't you?" Asia spoke with a cute frown, which deepened as Issei just gave a slow nod.
"But not because I wanted to. It's just…they come to mind at weird & awkward moments when they're not supposed to."
"Then, let's make sure you forget about them." Xenovia knew that her whispering in his ear did something to his body, the girl giving him an innocent smile as her hand trailed down his abs before slowly reaching into his pants.
His hands weren't left idle as the bluenette placed his under her pants & underwear, grasping her bare ass in a firm grip before his eyes widened as his free hand touched something wet, looking over to Asia to see her blushing at him as his hand was down the front of her pants.
"Well-played, Asia." Xenovia said with a grin before she slithered down & slowly began to pull his shorts down, not even paying attention to his lower body being bare of clothing as he stared at the burning desire & lust in Asia's eyes right before he groaned as a pair of lips wrapped around his sensitive head.
'Maybe getting injured wasn't that bad, huh?'
Later that day, Evening:
Kuoh Town Streets: After a few hours of staying in bed with Xenovia & Asia and leaving the two exhausted girls to recover their energy, Issei had decided to take a stroll around town, remembering that he hasn't done so ever since last year when he first met sensei.
[Ah, I remember our walks. Just me, you and the white noise of people & cars in the background.] Ddraig's voice echoed in his mind and Issei's chuckle drew a few weird looks from those he passed, the dragon-human hybrid not even paying attention to them as he turned into the central park that was the highlight of his walks.
'Yeah, and the usual attack by a stray devil or priest who wants to either eat me for my power or beat me to bring me back as a weapon for the church.'
[Good times. Hey, do you remember the funky priest? That idiot who shot himself by accident?]
'Hey, no one told him that he had to spin a full 1080° before trying to perform a jump shot. It's not my fault he fell and he shot himself through the eye.' Issei countered with a shrug as he stopped in front of the water fountain, the only one in town as he watched the sparkling blue water rising into the air.
[Hahaha! Right, I remembered that. What I wouldn't give to see him do that a…again…Partner, do you feel that?] Ddraig asked, his voice uncharacteristically serious and Issei frowned as he spread his senses out before his eyes widened as he felt a soothing presence wash over him.
It reminded him of the first time he met Asia & felt her aura for the first time: a warm & comforting aura that soothe all of his worries & made him want to protect her.
This time, the aura felt the exact same and as he stood up from the water fountain, he frowned as he looked around but couldn't find anything.
"Are you looking for someone, Mr. Red Dragon Emperor?" Issei's eyes widened at the voice right next to him, slowly turning his head and staring at the smiling beauty who was looking back at him.
Long purple hair & orange eyes radiated in the light of the sunset as a white dress fit for a noble with high slits on both sides & long sleeves covered her body, a black mini skirt under her dress.
Despite the fact that the girl appeared to be his age, Issei couldn't help but notice that she had breasts nearly on the same size as Gremory & Himejima, something he thought to be impossible before he frowned as he shook his head to get rid of those thoughts.
While her beauty was most definitely otherworldly, Issei however was focused on something entirely different, more specifically, how her aura reminded him of a certain other dragon that he'd rather not have to see again if possible.
'Ddraig, is that what I think it is?'
[If by that you mean a Longinus Sacred Gear, then yes that is most definitely a Longinus Sacred Gear.] Ddraig answered with a frown in his tone, Issei giving a mental frown while a smile spread across his face.
"You, actually. I couldn't help but notice the soothing presence you give off."
"That's strange. Most people would call my presence deathly." The woman answered with a giggle, Issei chuckling at her words before he smiled as he held out a hand.
"Hyoudou Issei, pleased to meet you." The woman smiled as she shook his hand & nodded before her next words shocked both dragon & wielder.
"Ingvild Leviathan and it's a pleasure to meet you too."
[You just love getting into these situations, don't you?]
A/N: And another short chapter. A simple slice-of-life type of chapter to get away from the action for a few seconds before we go back to it.
Next week, a meeting and a shocking discovery.
