Running to grandma

Lucy asked for a oneshot of Emma and Eira having an argument, and Eira goes running to Snow.

BlairWarner02: I think that might be a smidgen of an overreaction even for Emma :P.

Guest100: Oh dear, you're on a bit of a bad spell with these requests! I'm afraid that's basically already been covered with a different sport :S

Snow heard the frantic knocking at the front door.

"Alright, alright, I'm coming!" She called as she fumbled for her keys. Did someone order a package? She unlocked the door not to find an impatient delivery man, but her granddaughter. Eira was standing there looking like she'd been having a bit of a rough time. Her eyes were red and puffy and she looked like she was about to spit fire at any moment. "Eira honey, what's wrong? Come on inside." Eira followed her grandma through to the living room and promptly burst into tears.

"Mom and I had a fight!" She wailed. "She- she said I couldn't stay over at Airabella's house this weekend because I hadn't done all my chores. I said she was just being cranky because she was stupid enough to lose that robber. I didn't mean to say it, I was just mad!" After that Eira burst into tears again.

"Oh dear, come here honey." Snow said gently, gathering the little girl into her arms and letting her cry it out. "Better?" Snow asked when Eira had finished crying. She nodded against Snow's shoulder. "Good. Honey, your mom will forgive you if you apologise to her. She's not going to hold a grudge against you."

"How do you know?" Eira mumbled.

"Because I could never hold a grudge against her. She's my baby and you're hers. She loves you too much. Ok, you might still miss this sleepover but I think you know that's your own fault. But she's not going to stay mad at you forever, I promise." Eira snuggled up against her gran.

"Can I just stay here for a little bit before I go home?" She asked. Snow smiled, how could she say no?

"Sure baby. Let me just text your mom to let her know that you're here and you're safe. And to come pick you up at three. You can't hide here forever sweetie." Eira nodded in agreement before Snow texted Emma.

And Snow was right. Meer seconds after Emma arrived the pair had apologised to each other and were thick as thieves again. Well, until the next fight.
