Charming's party
Didi asked for a oneshot of Emma getting everyone together to throw a birthday party for Charming. This will be the last Charming family birthday request I write.
"Ok, so it'll be fishing themed because he loves fishing." Emma confirmed, writing it down. "Ella, Thomas and Alex, Granny and Red and the dwarves have already confirmed they're coming. Regina, Robin and Roland are a maybe depending on if they can get a babysitter for Joseph. Their usual girl Aliyah is too busy studying."
"He's going to love this, Emma." Snow said warmly, squeezing Emma's hand. "But not just because it's his birthday party, but because you planned it all for him."
"Well I've had a lot of help from you." Emma said, shrugging her off.
"No, you haven't. And don't even think I'll be letting you give me some of the credit on the day." Snow warned her.
The day
"Happy birthday!" All the guests cried out as Charming came into the room. He was completely taken aback. He didn't even know what to say! Snow smiled and came over giving him a quick peck on the lips.
"It's all Emma's doing." She said, before Emma could deny it. "She's been planning it for weeks." Charming turned to his daughter, touched. He walked over to Emma and pulled her into a giant hug.
"This was really sweet of you, baby." He said, kissing the side of her head. "You didn't need to go to all this trouble for me."
"Of course I did. You're my dad…and I love you." Charming could have gone round the room dancing the conga by himself. Emma saying she loved him would always be the best present he could ever hope for.
