It was oddly cool, and yet at the same time comforting. There was an odd, almost briny scent in the air on top of the scent of some sort of fish and sweat. There was a second scent, very similar to the first but had a more subtle scent of mushrooms, oddly enough.

The second he realized that this was not his room, there were two people sandwiching him between them and he was displaying all the signs of a hangover, Riddle woke up straight away. And immediately regretted it. As low as the lighting was, it was still a bit much for his sensitive eyes right now. Not to mention the throbbing pain in his head.

However as he scrunched his eyes together from the sudden influx of pain, he heard an all too familiar and often unwelcome voice.

"Go back to sleep goldfishie...it's too early," said Floyd.

Riddle only peripherally registered he was still fully clothed, thank the Seven, and that the other body behind him which was having entirely too much fun playing with the fur of his tail was none other than Jade. He seemed fascinated with the act of playing with his tail.

It was very distracting, and Jade was stroking his tail just the right way to put him into a trance like state.

There was a throaty chuckle behind him courtesy of Jade, and it was all Riddle could do to stay awake when Floyd suddenly started attacking his ears. He let out a slight whine, and drifted reluctantly back to sleep. While it was likely he could get away if he actually wanted to, he was simply too tired and his head hurt to much to attempt it right now.

Floyd and Jade both shared a grin with each other, as this was entirely too much fun to abandon.

So you could imagine their surprise when Azul came in two hours later looking very peeved.

"What did you two idiots do?" he demanded. Then he spotted Riddle and scowled. "Do you have any idea the sort of headache you've caused me?"

"What's going on?"

"Cater and Trey just showed up to my office subtly threatening me because the last place their housewarden was seen was in the Lounge. And they had witnesses who saw you two getting Riddle drunk several hours ago," said Azul annoyed.

Normally, Azul wouldn't care what sort of games the twins played with their prey. Except everyone in the school remembered how one of the most unassuming dorms had reacted to their housewarden being attacked by another student. That alleycat still flinched whenever Riddle was in his vicinity.

No one was sure how Riddle pulled that sort of thing off, but it was abundantly clear that he had his entire dorm under his thrall. Azul almost envied him for that sort of pull, as Riddle didn't even seem to realize the potential power he had at his disposal.

Riddle whimpered a bit at the noise level.

Azul blinked.

"He's still hungover?"

"He did consume an entire bottle of high proof liquor in one go," said Jade.

The twins were a little taken aback at the way Cater and Trey looked when they saw their housewarden. Cater easily put Riddle on his back, who promptly burrowed into the older red head's neck.

There was a clear undercurrent of 'threat' from the two that neither of the twins were used to. As if one wrong move meant two hidden predators were likely to show up and hunt them down.

It was even more surreal seeing the Heartsabyl students eyeing them both with expressions that said they were sizing the two morays up. Watching. Waiting.

Once Riddle recalled enough of what happened that night, the stares stopped. But the twins never forgot the odd thrill they got from the odd encounter.

Then as Jade was reading a gardening magazine, something caught his eye. It was a perfume ad with Vil, Neige and one relative unknown upon further investigation had a solid following.

The name on the article stated the girl's name was Alyssa. There was very little about who she was or where she lived, but it said she had a 'sibling' that attended Night Raven College as a member of Heartsabyl.

Jade was grinning wildly, because the person in the ad was none other than Riddle, or a close relative of his. It was giving him all sorts of ideas regarding what Riddle might look like as a female.

The rose design was very appealing, and suited Riddle perfectly. Seeing how royal this "Alyssa" looked, Jade's interest was piqued. He really wanted to see Riddle dressed up like that, preferably in the bedroom.

Floyd, when he saw the article, was just as greedy and eager.

Azul took one look at the potions Jade was looking into, before he said "Whatever it is you're planning with Riddle, keep me out of it. If the entire dorm comes down on your heads, then you're on your own."

He was not going to ask why Jade was suddenly researching gender-switching potions.

~*~*~*

Riddle had a confused look on his face. Floyd and Jade had been acting...weird...since they got him drunk that one night. Nothing had happened, but they had become strange since then.

Cater was the first one to figure it out, having accidentally overheard Floyd in the hallway talking to Riddle.

He grinned, realizing what was up and why.

"The twins are flirting with you," he said bluntly.

"Flirting?" said Riddle baffled.

"The little presents, the extra attention, the way they follow you with their eyes every time they see you in public...pretty obvious they're interested," said Cater.

This was a college, and the students were hardly celibate. Honestly it was more surprising that no one had made a move on Riddle before this point.

Riddle was peripherally aware of his dormmates 'activities' at night. He had a rather simple rule for it that the entire dorm followed, despite the fact it wasn't in the Rule Book.

The rule being that Riddle would not interfere in their private lives so long as it didn't become public and he never personally busted them going at it. He wasn't going to create a rule that would only drive the students to inadvertently break the actual rules of the dorm. So long as they cleaned up after themselves, didn't have public spats about their bed partners, and he never had to see it, he'd ignore it was happening in the first place.

Oddly enough this earned him a bit of respect from the other students before the whole Alyssa thing came out to light.

Still, Riddle didn't know how to react to someone, much less a pair of twins being interested in him.

He kept Cater's words in mind the next time he went to the Lounge. Azul had a special going on with a strawberry based drink and dessert combo that had caught Riddle's attention and he wanted to try it out. He could never resist a good strawberry.

The drink itself was rather good, but it was the dessert that had his attention. He wasn't able to pin exactly what it was that tipped him off, but he could smell a potion either in the dessert or on the utensils.

Seeing the anticipatory expression on the twin's faces when he ate the treat, Riddle could sense the familiar sensation of Alyssa coming to the forefront.

It took him all of three seconds to realize what the potion likely was, and his mischievous kitsune nature kicked in.

They wanted to see him as a female, did they? Well, he had no problem letting Alyssa out to teach these two a lesson. Perhaps then they'd cease this silly game that left him hot and bothered in the middle of the night.

Riddle made a light excuse, something to get him away from the public eye. He saw anticipatory expressions in the twin's eyes, and hid a smirk.

Feigning panic, Alyssa slipped out of the spare room pretending to try and slip away.

She was cornered in minutes by Floyd, Jade making some excuse or another to slip away discreetly.

"Goldfishie~ Where do you think you're going?" he purred. His mismatched eyes glinted in the low lighting.

"I need to get back to my dorm," said Alyssa. She wasn't that drunk, and it was obvious Floyd was eyeing her like a prize. It was oddly thrilling.

"Oh, but you haven't settled your bill yet," purred Jade from nearby. "It would hardly do to let a guest slip away from their tab."

Alyssa pretended to look for her wallet, and feigned horror when she couldn't find it. Jade and Floyd had dark glints in their eyes, all too eager to suggest other ways of 'paying' her tab.

This was going to be fun for her.

Two hours later...

Azul was very annoyed. He knew the twins had gone after Riddle again, and had likely slipped the potion he knew damn well Jade had made a week ago into the food.

So you could imagine his surprise when he went into the twin's room...only to find them tied up, and looking both thoroughly frustrated but at the same time eager for more.

He smirked at them both, as the rose vines were pretty indicative of who was behind their current state.

"I take it your little plan went awry?"

"Goldfishie played us!" said Floyd with a whine. His mood hadn't switched, but he was clearly annoyed.

"I must admit, I didn't expect Riddle to be that deviant," said Jade. He lightly tugged at the vines, but they held firm.

Azul's smirk didn't drop in the least.

"So are you two done playing with him?" he asked.

"Hardly," said Jade. "This just makes things even more exciting."

Azul admired the way Riddle had trussed the two up. They were thoroughly bound in such a way that left them exposed and unable to touch themselves to get any relief. Yet at the same time they were unable to free themselves easily. His estimation of the smaller teen went up.

In Heartsabyl...

Cater was howling, there was no other word for it. Ace was staring at his housewarden in disbelief and small amounts of admiration.

"You left them with raging hard ons after leading them on? That's just cruel!" said Ace.

"How is it my fault those idiots didn't research kitsune properly? Or that Jade apparently thought it was amusing to slip a gender swapping potion into the food?" sniffed Alyssa.

Cater still hadn't stopped his cackling. This was downright hilarious.

"So what happened?" asked Trey.

"I faked being worried about switching into Alyssa, played along with Jade's insinuations that I hadn't prepaid for my tab, and then once I had them both hot and bothered I trussed them up in such a way they'd need help getting out. There's no way they were able to relieve themselves before being busted," said Alyssa smirking. "If they think I'm going to let them have they way with me, then they had better work for it first."

Cater was heaving from lack of oxygen. Trey was starting to be worried about him. Eventually he managed to control himself to mere giggles every time he looked at Alyssa.

Che'nya, when he heard about what Alyssa did, about keeled over himself from laughing his ass off.

Either way, if the twins were interested before, they were obsessed now.

~*~*~*~*~

Azul stopped Riddle on the way out of the housewarden meeting.

"I apologize for the stupidity of my dormmates," he said.

"No need," said Riddle. "It's hardly your fault those two idiots failed to research kitsune properly. I'm honestly surprised someone as thorough as Jade forgot to read up on them sooner."

Azul blinked at that.

"Be that as it may...what on earth possessed them to use that sort of potion on me in the first place?" asked Riddle. Because that was the one thing he didn't get.

"Jade apparently saw an article with your sister in it," said Azul. "It gave him ideas."

"...I don't have a sister."

Azul blinked at that. And then went to find the article that had gotten the twins so riled up in the first place.

He was not going to tell them his suspicions, because that would ruin the fun of the inevitable show. Besides, this was something he could potentially hold over his fellow housewarden if he played his cards right.
