Chapter 35:firework Festival part 2
Elsewhere right now in the festival grounds as everyone enjoyed themslevs right now. But in a particular part of the fair grounds was summer with her three teammates. As they where watching from a distance in their usually attire right now just talking with each.
Along with enjoying each other company right now after everything that happened with them being apart so long.
Tai sighed in relief stretching his back as he cracked it for a moment then he rubbed his wrist to loosen them up for a moment
"Man this is nice. Because i didn't expect to finally be reunited with all us of here"tai said
Qrow chuckled for a moment"what you missed the mighty team STRQ being back together. Though where all getting old"he said pausing for a moment
"Heck even sis is in a wheelchair now with her old age"he joked
This made tai snicker for a moment as raven looked very unaumzued. A fair goer passed by with a hand craved kendo training sword from one of the many stalls. She grabbed it then whacked her brother hard above his metal leg
Qrow felt immense pain their as he jumped up beginning to hold it grumbling and sleintly cursing from the pain
"Remeber qrow that i beat you at kids. You got beat by a little girl even our little sister synin beat you plenty of times"raven reminded with a small grin
"Oh her i forgot about her. Whats she up to right now anyway?"Tai asked about his sister in law right now
"I left her incharge of the tribe right now. Though with how things have been goings it got me to think about that"Raven said which got them to wonder what she meant as qrow sat down rubbing above his metal foot
"What are you talking about rae?"qrow questioned as summer already could assume what she was thinking
"She means that if we do head to atlas. Who will go with them because from how i see it oz will need some experts to go with them. Raven can't and tai…well i don't know if you can."summer said as he nodded
"I got a home back in the patch. Along with rae being in a wheelchair now someone gotta take care of her for all her needs"tai replied
Qrow then sighed at that because they were right. If they do head to atlas after their all recovered who will head with the brave students in their group. Making him wonder who might head off with them along with that. If they have both summer and winter maidens they could kill two birds with one stone
Have summer head off to shade to get the relic their and prepare a defense while they gather the relic in atlas then try to set of a defesne against the witch and her forces.
"Yeah though oz better come up with a plan soon. Because i'm getting rather impatient how he hasn't said much of anything as of late"qrow replied as raven and summer shared a look with one another
"Oz has been acting strange as of late as well. All he does is keep an eye on the relic"raven replied
"Along with you rae and that pearson girl. I've noticed how he keeps staring at you two along with me. I think he might know why i also hide for years from you all"summer said as they agreed on that right now
"True but…we can't exactly prove hes hiding something. Oz was always hiding something everytime we did something. Having us do jobs for him along with getting a few artifacts for his collection. Probably important one"qrow replied
Tai nodded rubbing his hands together"yeah but i'm worried about yang and ruby. I'm a little worried about her going on this trip. Because whenever they leave i hope they can be safe"he replied

It made summer smiler herself glad that she went out of hiding to see her daughter again. Because she gets to witness a nice moment in her life, her first love which she hopes doesn't end too bad at some point.
As she kept staring at the two qrow noticed it wrapping an arm around her smiling himself
"Seems our daughter found love. I wonder which one of them will make the first moves on each other"qrow said
Summer chuckled"that daughter walker adopted. She and her bonded it seems during their first date. Then she lunged at her kissing her on the lips"she said recalling the goods times as the two of them sat with each other as she admired the lights and sounds around her.

"You mean how i was trying to ask you out but i was such a nervous wreck. I was so upbeat everyday but that was one thing i couldn't solve. I even tried to come up with a battleplan on how to ask you out"summer admitted with a laugh
"While me, kali and calida had to convince you to just act like yourself. But you did go out in a cloak to met my brother"Raven replied as soon enough laughing close by was delcan with his wife along with the hayley parents right now joining them right now
"Aww but it was so cute that day. Because you were such a nervous wreck using your itty bitty cloak to hide your face"calida cooed as summer stared at her rolling her eyes
"Well at least i didn't try to interpret my love in the form of dancing. Remember how confused you where jaki"summer reminded which made the dance instructor go bright red in the face

Then declan motion to something that being a bar like area. As right now keeping an eye on her was diamona who was struggling to control her teammate right now. Because she had few too many saka cups as she was laughing swinging around in a circle on a lamppost
"Walker! You've had too much to drink get down here right now!'Diamona demanded as the tiger laughed at her with a red flush on her face giggling
"Awww but i wanna have some fun….maybe even catch some tail tonight….i need to get back in the saddle. Who wants some!"nadia shotued in complete joy as she eventually fell into her parents arms woozy right now giggling being very drunk right now
They stared at the polar bear walking over with her right now as she sighed heavily as nadia yukata was dark blue with a orange sash. But it slightly slipping around the chest area right now revealing some clevage as she didn't care

"Their you are sum. Thought i'd lost you their come on lets go enjoy ourselves right now. Thinking of messing with my niece and daughter soon enough"qrow stated as she stared at him for a moment sighing liking the sound of that
As they continued their way through the fairground right now but summer recalled something vidly from her fight against salem. She recalled she managed to stab her back as well that day luckily.
Although elsewhere in the festival ground right now was blake with yang. Along with them was adam and lazuli. With their so called bodyguards close by that being alexa, nate, paddy and jamal right now. But the four soldiers had to play serious while keeping an eye on him

"God this is the life right now. Not having to hear screaming kids right now and just enjoying some booze"mai said taking a sip of some liquor
"Be glad we can;t do that. Because if they see us drink they'll be asking questions"nate said annoyed since they needed to be professional
Lazuli had a small cup of liquor laughing a little as it burned in her throat right now. She dabbled on drinking it at times as she enjoyed herself right now heavily because she was spending time with her friends and family.
Adam noticed her drinking"i'm surprised you even drink liquor. I never liked the stuff myself"he replied
"Oh come on its fun because*hiccup* it burns slightly in your throat and i'm old enough for it."lazuli said hiccuping a little smiling like no tomorrow right now as yang grinned
"Hey tarrus maybe after this we can let you two be alone. Then well have wild fun with each other"yang teased making him stare at her with disgust that she made a joke like that
"Don't make a joke like that. I may have killed people before but i at least have enough standards to not do that. Besides i'm sure you and blake would do that"adam surpsignly teased back
This made blake feel awkward getting teased by him again since they cut thing off. At times she still feels very weary of him wondering if he'll betray them. But shes watched him over the last few days seeing how much hes changed actually. She seen him actually have a caring side to him making her wonder if her talking to was it all it took.
Yang stared at him annoyed before pulling the cat close wrapping an arm around her
"Hey you can't tease us back….because uh….dang it i can't come up with anything"yang said stumped now as jamal shrugged his shoulder
"Meh if you can't come up with anything don't. Though man when were done here i'm celebrating with a bottle of booze tonight"jamal said
Nate chuckled"Same here man though getting worried about harp right now actually"he said which confused them right now as walking over was zoey and akata with colt seeing them as they wanted to stop and talk to them but they ehard that part
"Why are you worried about that guy exactly?"akata questioned as her tail was wrapped around her girlfriend waist right now.
"Yeah what you worried hes gonna slip up saying how you know my brother?"zoey asked but it was the opposite
'Nah nah…just i don't know hes been weird and dodgy lately. Back in atlas he would be down to hand with us for a drink after a mission or training. Though in the last few weeks i've noticed he quit smoking"nate said puzzling them

"She probably busy talking with nezumi and celeste last i saw. Though good news whitley and carmen kissed"weiss replied happily right now
"Wait…oh dang guess instead of suitors claiming the cold hearts you kids have. It was a dropout pilot and a bodyguard who went from a miner"nate joked a little as they shared a good laugh
Though as they laughed for a moment walking over as they quickly fixed their posture pretending to guard the dangerous faunus. As chadiwck was approaching noticing the group as he greeted them
"Well i take you all are enjoying tonight festivities?"chadwick asked as lazuli laughed slightly before standing up wobbling for a moment toward him
"I sure am! Man….i'm glad i'm nineteen…oh i feel tispy…i need to take a nappy"she said slowly falling backward
But adam quickly reacted as he got up catching her in his arms. As the girl was passed out sleeping soundly in his arms right now. Though a few people stared at the two more like him specifically as he noticed it. He can't exactly show affection to her now.
Though to his surprise chadwick walked over hosting her up as he made adam sit down. Then he helped place her head on his lap as her chest roze up and down as she slept sound asleep right now.
"Their we are rather not have these two lovebirds get in trouble"he said surprising them he figured that out
'Wait you know those two are well you know?"akata asked as he nodded
"I have an eye for things. Along with that i'm not stupid because i know the face of vicky and jakes son is after a long time"chadwick said which puzzled them right now

The first was a women smiling right now with light black hair medium in length. Her skin was fair skina long with having a set of blue eyes. As she seemed to be maybe in her mid twenties along with having set of bull horns on her head. While she wore some blue jeans with a teal colored sweater.
The second was a man who seemed a little older than her and taller with a musucalr build. As he had fair skin himself. But their was also how he had bright red hair just like adam in the picture. With a set of two horns on his head that were short. As he had on a white tanktop showing off his muscle along with a pair of black jeans
But the women was holding something that being a baby in a red blanket with red hair. Which made his one eye go wide eyed
"I..i…t-those are my parents…you knew my mother?"he asked as he nodded
"I did. Both of us where friends since our parents knew each other. But eventually me and some friends get dragged to this boxing tournament. That night i was so bored and me her just made fun of boxer names all night"he said pausing recalling some of them.
"A few where lets see…stingray steve…the hammer…savage huntress…the colt train and your dad. The unbroken bul"chadwick said as two people stared at him for making fun of their name right now that being colt who frowned recalling that old name
"Hey i thought that name would be funny….fricking jerk. "Colt said annoyed surprising the man

"So…you almost killed one of you boxing ideals kids twice. Do you want me to give you an autograph for being his son?"adam joked making her give him a look
"Nope….maybe if you tell me anything embarrassing that kali did. I need ammo against her she won't stop teasing us"yang replied as tai blinked for a moment staring at his daughter

"That is weird because i even foguth him one time. Dam how did i not remember his last name was tarrus. I didn't even place you two together being family"colt added a little surprised

"I'm trying to make up for my sins. I hope i'm making them proud right now turning my blade toward the right enemy. Though….i'm sure you know where we ended up"adam said as he nodded
"The SDC mines….making me wonder if these soldiers will bring you back for an exuction or put you back in those mines. Really makes me sick you atlesian are heartless like the snow and weather up their"he coldy said
This made the soldier shot him a look as nate turned back not having this right now
"Hey buddy i regret what i did when i sighed up. I never wanted to be a dam guard in those mines. Seriously i hated everyday of that feeling disgusted i had to force little kids to move dust along with threatening to shoot normal people"he said with some symapthy as they learned a bit about you
Zoey huffed as her tail swayed"so…we figured out one of you used be a mine guard. How'd you get out?"she asked as he sighed tapping his foot for a moment
"I got out after punching my captain. Transfers me to working as a guard for important atlas figures. Got handpicked for my talents on being pretty good with a scalpel. Now i'm a medic…so yeah i enjoy saving lives than taking them"nate explained his life story sort of
"Along with that i'm friends with a dual triated monkey faunus. So i aint racist…maybe baker…or a few of the others in the unit"alexa added
But adam was surprised to her someone knew his parents as everysince he lost them. He had a hard time remembering what they actually look like since he saw them die that day. All he could remeber is the gunshot he heard when they tried to escape.
Alright lets not start a fight because in an hour the fireworks will be starting. I hope to see you all their when we light them off. "Chadiwck said walking away from them as they decided to enjoy the festival even more right now until the show
Meanwhile with a certain spider faunus that being nezumi who was hanging out with winter and celeste right now. Along with bonnet who luckily the person she was keeping watch on was close by doing something else.
As the monkey fuanus sighed sitting down hating the military duds shes in right now with this heat. Because tonight just had to be very humid and tactical gear with a mask isn't helping in the slightest..
"Oh my god i feel like i'm going to have a heat stroke. I want the cold weather again i miss the snow"bonnet whined with her tail drooping to the ground

Winter huffed as she was acsutomed to it"i'm quite accustomed to the cold weathers of my home land. You need to stop complaining soon enough it may start snowing here. Argus is terrible with it"She replied
"Meh meh sorry that i feel like i'm in that peter rabbit mascot suit those guys wear. Seriously you would need to be in your undies in those things."bonnet said making the three women stare at her for her very lewd comments
"I forgot how lewd you are at times. Though that is a good point cap…when are we leaving for vacuo?"celeste asked as the spider faunus thought for a moment sighing rubbing her heck
"I think we might need to leave in the next week. I sent faba back with a few others yesterday with his niece body. Poor kids parents will be heartbroken seeing her like that"nezumi said sadly
Winter looked down herself because despite sometimes being stuck in an office space back in atlas. Along with being sent on life and death missions she had the tough task of telling people that they lost their own children on missions. Shes been hit and cursed at a few times which she used to.
"A parent shoudln't need to see their own child in a casket. Got back in atlas…..we had parents from mantle and the upper level. All of them where very heartbroken to hear their child may be gone or see their body not even moving"winter said as they were silent for a moment
"Well speaking of bodies….were gonna have to take that grimm knight that didin't turn into a skeleton. Along with beidous"bonnet replied which made nezumi confused for a moment
"Hey why didn't he turn into a skeleton? That diego guys turned into one….bree even gave me blood money for…killing a women husbnad"nezumi said as her limps on her side went limp

That was when nezumi thought about that lynx in her mind for a moment. Because they might even leave sooner right now whent hat ship is repaired. Their airships could handle the distant even if they refuel them. But alot of her men did die as well during the siege. It'll be hard to break it too them.
As she was sitting their deep in thought bonnet noticed her deep in thought deciding to guess what she was thinking
"So the spider is thinking about this lynx i've heard about. When you gonna ask him out"bonnet cooed making her blush

But after some time the crowd started to gather at that moment. As everyone in their group all gathered back up. "Seems everyone had an interesting time doing their own thing"eria said
"Oh yeah because shes drunk again like she was during the dance. Oh right and miss W"sun said as nadia was snoring in her teammates arms as diamona groaned right now
"Hey your her kids you carry her"diamona said as zoey and her brother shared a look.
"No i'm getting punch in the face or puked on right now besides your fine. You did it a bunch of times when you visited my mom"zoey added but she didn't enjoy it.
Weiss glanced at carmen who stared at her"Well it seems you two are very close now. Whats the occasion?"She said with a grin as the horse knew she planned this
"I know you did this weiss though….thanks because guess you both didn't accept the suitors and suitress jacque got you"Carmen replied smiling as her tail flicked all over the place
"Hey atleast you didn't learn that you have a signed poster of his dad in your room back home"yang said pointing at adam confusing them

"My father used to be a boxer back in the day and apparently the councilman knew my parents. Which is quite shocking believe it or not"adam replied

As everyone began to crowd together right now as the faunus all luckily bought earplugs for this. All of them began to put them in their ears at that moment. As a fireworks operator was flipping some switches a line of tubes and devices lined the open field
Then as he pressed a switch the ignition started which started to launch fire works slowly at first. One went into the air whistling before denaitng decorating he sky in a coloreful display. Everyone was in awe of the sight as it soon started to pick up speed right now.
Several fireworks started to go off all around the sky right now as it filled the night skie with a colorful master piece. Everyone was just enjoying the display right now as they kept ringing out in the skies. Though down below it illuminated them a little with their faces.
As standing right next to nezumi was that lynx shes been thinking of as of late. A firework went off again illuminating his face as vance was smiling right now at the sight. While she thought about maybe she should listen to winter words. She always followed her heart alot of times and its been good lately
So deicidng to take her advice she walked over nudging him on the shoulder getting his attention
"Oh hey spdiery whats–"he was stopped by something
As the women leaned in locking his lips with him as a firework went off right now illuminating them. As fireworks were going off in his head right now as his ears flopped completely over. She pulled him in holding it with him for a bit right now slipping him the tongue
But right now the two just held the kiss for a bit before she undid it leaving a long trail of spit blushing right now as he was flush.
"So kid wanna go on a date or something tomorrow on that ride of yours"nezumi asked as the lynx shook his head still blushing bright red
"Ummm uh…s-sure…i mean if you want…uhhh god i hope no one saw that"vance said but snickering could be heard making them turn to look at cardin, yumi, neo, jazmine along with celeste staring at them right now. Neo waved to the two with a grin.
"Guess we all got partner…you like them aged like fine wine fish eater"neo signed as the two stared them down. Then the two suddenly pulled out their weapons with his being his knife and the second being a combat knife for her
"Hey shut up…becuase i'll hang you upside down with my webs"nezumi warned
"Oh no your going to hang us upside. Vance might be into that….oh when lazuli hears this she'll flip out"yumi cooed in hope
Though as the firework kept going off near one of them right now was a blinking rectangular like device. Until as it kept beeping more and more then suddenly it erupted into a blue flame that threw the controller off the station. This in turn caused the fireworks to be launch all over the palace startling the crowd

But using her remaining strength to stay concise she secretly reached into his pocket then pulled out his wallet dropping it to the ground. As she soon closed her eyes blacking out as garfield hoisted her onto his back. Then he began to leave the festival ground
After sneakily avoiding benign detected as he cough doccasionaly. Waiting for him was carmel by a car as she smiled at him right now.
"Good job old friend put in the back seat then we'll take her back to my house. Then we come up with a plan to burn and capture our remaining target"She said
Garfield opened the backseat placing neo in the back as she layed limp inside the seat. Then he got in the back with her crossing his arms as carmel got in the driver seat starting the engine as they drove away from the festival that was in flames
After maybe an hour the firedepartment put the flames out as dean was walking over to them
"Seem that someone had placed a explosive device on the fireworks. But they said they've never seen it before i'm hoping you all could help us identify this aronist"dean said

"She gave us an ID on one of the people who took her"blake said as they decided to head back to hotel and rest to come up with a plan tomorrow. Hopefully they can find the mute in time before her mother does something to her.
