Mother/daughter day
Alice asked for a oneshot of Emma and Eira spending the day together. I don't mind the odd request with one of my OCs but both those sort of requests and sequels are on the rise. Unless you really want them stick with a oneshot with the actual characters folks :P
"How's your ice cream?" Emma asked as she tucked into her cheesecake.
"Good." Eira responded between mouthfuls. Emma smiled at her, she was like a little Dyson hoover when it came to food. Like mother like daughter. Emma had been so busy at the station that she hadn't really spent much time with Eira lately, it was nice to be able to catch up with her.
"How's school?" She asked her. "Mrs Skube still your favourite teacher?" Eira nodded, not stopping eating her cherry vanilla sundae. Emma was frustrated at the lack of communication she was getting from her daughter, but Emma knew exactly how to get her talking. "What about Rae? He still your boyfriend." Eira's spoon froze in her mouth and her cheeks went bright pink.
"Mom." Eira complained, squirming in her seat.
"Oh, so he is still your boyfriend." Emma said, leaning closer. Her baby was growing up fast! "Well, have you kissed him yet?"
"Mom!" Eira said, hiding her face. "That's gross!" Emma chuckled, settling back in her seat.
"Your dad will be happy to hear that's what you think." Emma said. "But seriously, you will let me know when you kiss a boy for the first time, won't you?"
"If I say yes can we stop talking about this?" Eira begged.
"Deal." Emma agreed. She couldn't believe how quickly Eira was growing up. And she didn't want to miss anything important. She wouldn't let her daughter grow up like she had.
