My child my way- part 2

red lighting asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch395 "My child my way" (which is a sequel to the chapter "Surprise! I'm a mom") where Emma hears Henry's first word. As with all 3rd instalments this will the last I write for this series of oneshots.

Sorry for the delay, folks. I've been away on holiday :).

UK oncers I'm speaking directly to you! Is anyone going to the OUAT convention in London next April? Because I can now officially say I will be there! (I'll be the wee loner as I don't really know anyone else that's going!)

NoNonon: I'm afraid that has been too closely covered.

Guest who asked for Emma raising Henry in the EF: sorry, but this has been too closely covered.

Guest who asked for toddler Henry always wanting to be carried: I'm afraid this has already been too closely covered.

Snow and Charming heard Emma's great whoop of excitement and came rushing into the living room.

"What? What is it?" Charming panted.

"He did it!" Emma squealed delightedly, twirling Henry round. "Go on Henry, show mimi and papa. What noise does the doggie make, Henry?" Emma asked him.

"Oof!" Henry shouted out. Snow and Charming joined their daughter in the excitement.

"He spoke?!" Charming said, plucking the baby boy from Emma's arms. "That's my little champ!" He praised the little guy. Snow wrapped her arms around her husband's waist and leaned over to kiss Henry's cheek.

"Who's mimi's clever little boy?" She cooed. Emma was on the phone already to update her status so that everyone knew how clever her son was. Charming rested his head against the top of Snow's as they both stared in awe at their little grandson.

"We have some pretty intelligent genes." Charming commented. Snow snuggled against Charming's shoulder.

"Takes after his papa." She added. Emma came back over and took her son back, kissing him all over his head.

"Henry mama is so proud of you! What does the doggie say Henry?" Emma repeated.

"Oof!" Henry repeated. Emma laughed gleefully, not sure she would tire of hearing her little boy's voice for a very long time.
