Naruto rose from his bed at the first light of dawn, he kissed Sasuke goodbye and rushed to the village. Today was a special day—the annual festival that welcomed spring.
With a wave of his staff and a series of spells, Naruto set to work, weaving magic into every corner of the plaza. He adorned the trees with garlands of flowers, their vibrant colors adding a festive touch. Colorful paper lanterns hung from the branches, casting a warm glow as they swayed gently in the morning breeze.
As the day wore on, Naruto lent his assistance wherever it was needed. He helped the ladies of the village prepare delicious meals, he also helped the men in carrying heavy supplies and setting up stalls and booths, his magic making quick work of even the most challenging tasks.
And as the sun began to dip below the horizon, Naruto stepped back to admire his handiwork with a satisfied smile. As the first sounds of music drifted through the air and laughter filled the plaza, he knew that this festival would be one to remember.
Jiraiya had remained noticeably absent, but Naruto had been too busy and he had thought he had found a woman that had fallen to his non existent charm, however, the sage had been busy working on a secret project of his own—a surprise for Naruto.
As the of music drifted through the air and laughter echoed in the distance, Jiraiya saw his opportunity. With a flicker of his hands, he summoned the same spell that Naruto had used the day before, one he had learned from Jiraiya himself, harnessing the power of magic to transport himself to the temple in the mountains in the blink of an eye.
Jiraiya found himself standing in the cozy interior of the blonde's second home. With a smile playing at the corners of his lips, thr old man set to work, putting some finishing touches to the gift . He knew that Naruto would be delighted.
The sage stepped out into the den and closed his eyes, he moved his hands into different seals and in a commanding whisper he called Sasuke, knowing that he would heed his summons. Moments later, Sasuke appeared before him, an annoyed expression adorning his ethereal face.
With a solemn nod, Jiraiya reached into his pocket and withdrew a small, delicate necklace. He held it out to Sasuke. "This," he began, "is a gift for you. It is a necklace imbued with ancient magic that will allow you to take on a mortal form for a few hours." The raven's eyes widened in surprise, a faint gasp escaping his lips as he reached out to take the necklace in his hands. "I know that you long to join my boy in the festivities, and with this necklace, you will have the chance to do just that —to walk among mortals, to laugh and dance"
Sasuke's heart swelled with emotion, her eyes shining with unspoken excitement. "Thank you," he whispered. "This means more to me than you could ever know."
As Jiraiya and Sasuke stepped into the plaza, a hush fell over the noisy crowd. All eyes turned toward the newcomers, their gazes filled with wonder and awe. Jiraiya extended his hand to the rave as he guided him forward. The villagers watched in stunned silence, as the ethereal beauty stepped forward. Never before had they seen such a vision of grace and elegance.
Naruto felt the weight of the moment as he turned to see what had caused the sudden quiet. His breath caught in his throat as his eyes locked with Sasuke's. For a moment, time seemed to stand still as Naruto took in the sight. But it wasn't just Naruto who was captivated by the sight before him. As he laid eyes on Naruto for the first time, dressed in a pristine white tunic with a delicate flower crown resting atop his golden locks, his heart skipped a beat.
With a smile that mirrored the warmth his heart felt, Naruto extended his hand to Sasuke, his eyes shining with joy. "Would you do me the honor of dancing with me?" he asked. Sasuke's heart fluttered as he placed his hand in his, their fingers intertwining as he allowed the mage to lead him onto the dance floor. With each step they took, Naruto and Sasuke seemed to float, the world fell away, leaving only the two of them in their own enchanted realm.
"How is this possible?" - Naruto asked amazed.
Sasuke smiled softly, his hand tightening around the jewel as she replied. "Your master, he... he gifted me with this necklace," he explained, his voice filled with gratitude. "It was his gift to us—to allow us this moment together"
Naruto's heart swelled. "I will have to find a way to repay him for his kindness." Sasuke nodded, and as they swayed gently to the music Sasuke reached down for a soft kiss, that was followed by a second and third. "you look beautiful" - Naruto whispered am incantation and a floral crown just like his own appeared atop of the black hair. "though i must say i miss the wings" Sasuke chuckled.
Lost in their own little world, the mage and the god failed to notice the whispers and giggles that surrounded them, the villagers' eyes alight with joy at the sight of their beloved mage finding love. But even if they had, it wouldn't have mattered, for in that moment, nothing else existed except the two of them. And as they held each other close, lost in the sweetness of the moment, Sasuke realized with more clarity just how deeply he deeply he cared for Naruto, that it did not matter at all if his feelings and emotions were not that of mortal men, that what he felt was a love that transcended time and space and that he would move heaven and earth to ensure his happiness and well-being.
