Coolest mom in school
A guest asked for a oneshot of Henry forgetting his lunch and Emma bringing it to him and deciding to eat lunch with him and his classmates. Henry is embarrassed, but his classmates are thrilled to meet the Saviour
Henry's stomach grumbled in process as he waited on the steps for his mom to arrive with his lunch. He'd forgotten both his packed lunch and his wallet so he couldn't even buy himself something at the canteen. He checked his phone to see if his mom had texted- nothing. He sighed, getting up. His stomach was beginning to think his throat had been cut. He made his way outside to wait for his mom there to get access to the food ASAP. When he went outside, he found a lot of his friends bunched together on one of the picnic benches out in the playground. He groaned when he saw who was sitting right in the middle of the group: his mom. He made his way over, face heating with embarrassment.
"Mom." He groaned. "Why are you out here?"
"Oh hey kid." Emma greeted him warmly, tossing him the paper bag. "There's your lunch. Sorry, got a little distracted. A few of your friends asked me to hang out with them for a while." Henry thought a few was a bit of an understatement, most of the boys in his class were there!
"Well, thanks for bringing it mom. I'm sure grandpa will be needing you back at the station…" Henry said, trying to get her to leave as subtly as possible.
"Aww, don't go yet Emma!" One of the boys, Aydin complained.
"Yeah, just a few more minutes." Glen added with Tommy and Logan nodding furiously.
"Yeah, you were just telling us all about your adventure in the Enchanted Forest and how you found Captain Hook." Maxim added.
"Oh yeah that, that's when he realised I was totally irresistible to him." Emma said grinning. Henry groaned, TMI!
"Ok, thanks mom. Lunch will be over soon, bye bye." He said, grabbing her up from the bench. "I'll walk you to your car." He added over the sound of the protest from his peers. Emma waved them all goodbye cheerfully as Henry frogmarched her to the bug. Why couldn't he just have a normal family?
