Chapter 40:Talon Turncoat
It was still a dark and cold night in the kingdom of atlas right now. But high above in the floating city of atlas. Their were dozen of different hotel chains and lavish building in the mighty city. Though one of them stood out among the rest of the luxury building. That being a pseicifc little hotel in the city
Their in a upper part of the city their was a luxurious multi story five floor hotel. That seemed to glow in the night sky as several lights where on throughout the building. While infornt of the building the logo for said building was a glass unicorn as this was the building and property of maud tremiane
But right in a large lobby of the hotel right now was said owner of the lxuerious building. As the hotel ceiling seemed to be made complete of glass in design. While the walls of the interior were golden and brown in color. As it had red carpets along the floor of the building
Though inside the main lobby of the hotel sat various glas sculptures in the room of one thing,...the creatures of grimm. As their were uras, sea feliongs, sabyrs, manticores and even beowulfs. But the women was organizing the arrival of some new statues with someone

While they all stood their admriing the work for a bit soon enough someone called out to them

Turning to the source of the voice right now it belong to a dark skinned man, his hair was greying out as he had brown eyes. While he wore a prussian blue shirt that was covered by bronze and wore a navy blue vest. While their their were straps over his chest and arms. He had a bronze shoulder pualdron on his left arm. Along with a few scars on his right side of his face appearing to be slash marks.
While on his hips where a pair of dual swords along with two maces on his back suggesting he duals wields them
Maud scoffed in disgust"god…what now rhodes? I thought i told you to let them be because your not their father"she scolded making the man stare her down
"I'm going to be bother when their treating your help here terrible"rhodes siad gesturng to something
That being the tremaine sisters bothering one of their help right now, that being cera scarlitina. But she wasn't in her usual outfit as she wore a white shirt with grey laces as well as grey pants and shoes. Along with that her hair was forced into a single bun. But around her neck was a necklace is seems that looked strange.
But drizella and anatstia where having their so called fun with her right now. As the older girl watched as cera was carrying a tray of food. But anatstia decided to shove her into her sister who stood in her way. Cera stumbled slightly as drizllea pretend to be anger
"You ruined my dress….you need to pay for that"drizella said but the rabbit faunus glared at her
"I didn't ruin anything you lit–"She was stopped as the young girl slap her across the face leaving a mark. The rabbit glared at her as rhodes stared the two down walking over to confront them. But he was stopped
"Rhodes dear….you don't get to tell my girls on how we treat the help here. Besides i suggest you don't even try anything"maud said walking over placing a hand on his shoulder as he stared back into her cold eyes devoid of any compassion
"Last time you tried to help one of my workers. That girl tried to shoot one of my daugher…for the reason that they got her older brother killed. But it was a simply little accident…don't want her ending up like her now do we"maud warned

Once he left cera was about to get slapped again by drizella but she wasn't having it. As she brought her hand down cera caught her wrist squeezing on it making drizlella wince. Then she headbutted her back onto the ground as the girl let out a ear bleding scream
This caught maud attention who turned around to see cera spit on her daughter growling at her
"Take that you little shi…"cera was stopped as her body started to become coated in eletrciity. As the rabbit faunus fell to the ground convusling in pain as the necklace around her neck was a shock necklace. As the patron of the estbalishemtn glanced but didn't even care
Maud was holding a remote walking over as she undid her hold on it as cera panted for air. While anastia rushed over helping her sister up who had a small blood nose right now as she winced in pain
"You dam beast….you broke my nose!"drizella shouted
"Oh screw you….you dam…psychos….ohhh when my boss hears about this your dead"cera warned but that was when maud shocked her again as she fell to the ground in pain as she glared at her
"Shut up beast…you are now my property now. Because i payed a handsome penny for you since you seemed to be a hard worker. "Maud paused staring at her daughter as she snapped her fingers with two of the other employee walking over that looked more like mercs from their get up
The two hoisted cera to her feet as she struggled a little but was too weak right now. Then the women guided her two daughter forward as she placed her hands behind her back
"Take her to that empty storage room we have….you two can have fun with her while teaching her a lesson"maud said to her two daughter who seemed to like the sound of that. As the two mercs dragged the poor faunus away to give her a proper punishment
Soon enough a new morning was happening in atas right now though starting her morning already was pyrrha. As the girl was looking through her scroll right now as she got up a little early. Not from a nightmare because she passed out immediately in her bed last night she arrived their.
She was looking at any news articles that have been happening lately. She looked at one o amity being back in the kingdom for a whole month now. It did move at a snail pace with the gravity dust pwoering it along the way.
But she also decided to look at the articles on havan assault seeing that tyrain was dead which surprised her. As she did get curious looking at some other news reports on it seeing some other died that she didn't know. Though some cuaght her attention right now as she stared at some older ones that where in atlas
More importantly how one from the schnee soiree was being brought up on her favorite aunt calida brining up how jacque beat his kids. Which made current news outlet start to investigate him more on the matter. It made her happy to hear that their finally doing something to put that man behind bars.
Though after some time she set her scroll down sighing on being here. She is still waiting in the mini living room for hariett or someone to escort her out of this place. While she waited she glanced at the notebook deciding to maybe catalog the previous days events.
Picking it up she opened the first page and took out a pencil beginning to write with it
"Journal entry #1. Today i was showed around the academy of atlas after they found out i was a grimm hybrid. I thought they would try to kill me the first chance they got, but instead showed me some kindness. It makes me nervous what other alternative motives they have for me. But i sometimes hope to be able to see my mother again along side rogue and eria who i deeply miss. Their also my teammates nora and ren who i'm worried sick about. The girl was thinking about jaune right now making her miss him deeply right now. What she wouldn't give to see him again but he might find her appearance to be quite horrifying. She decided to erase that part out and continue writing

After that she layed on the couch thinking about what to do right now. As she sat their bored out of her mind soon enough a knock at her door could be heard

Pyrrha ddi recall her looking down slowly standing up"i'm…sorry its just i'm rather nervous being in a place like this right now"She admitted not wanting to hide it
'Thats understnadbale sweetie. But besides that….i'm here to keep an eye on you today right now. Along with a few others mainly being these two knucklehead"mariana said as stepping into view was sarah along with grinch who rolled his eyes

This surprised pyrrha to hear that weiss was now dating falk recalling how rogue pointed out sometimes those two becoming smitten with each other. She noticed back in beacon how her, nora and cardin became matchmakers all of sudden. Because she figured out those three helped set her and jaune up

Quickly they exited the apartment complex heading down over to the cafeteria right now for some breakfast. While they where walking into the place already their was hunter along with henry eating with flynt, neon, razma and persia as they had some casually conversation right now.
"So you two are here….how you doing henry?"razma aksed her friend

"Uhhhh i'm nervous now and i uh…wait why isn't she even attacking us"henry pointed out as pyrrha just layed her head down near a small tray of food she got. Which was mainly some eggs, bacon along with a bowl of oatmeal with a small bottle of coffee.
Mariana sighed"for starters this girl aint one of them because their is…eh twelve technically now with that traditor going around. Along with that she is someone back from the dead…the name pyrrha nikos ring any bells"She asked as the three went wide eyed hearing who she was
Persia peeked over with a slack jaw and went from fear to immediately starry eyed right now who she was seeing

Neon rolled her eyes"oh yeah totally….totally tried to kill us after helping us fight some grimm and white fang. Change your tune"She said mockingly as vesa groaned rubbing her face right now

While he wore the standard issued atlas spartan gear and uniform provided to him. But for his weapon it was a simple assault rifle with a silencer on it while he wore a ski mask but was lifted off to show his face
"Man i can't believe we got stuck with doing patrol down here"the man said
"Shut up frostbite because sorry that you aren't on your day off skiing right now"ramierz joked making the man stare him down
"That aint my name its jenkins rember"jekins reminded the two of his name as marrow sighed at his comrade
"Come on eyes up you two. Because you need to follow my order since i got sent down here on ironwood orders to check out any signs of that teryx knight"marrow replied as his tail swayed as they decided to keep walking for a bit
While they got to walking for a bit soon enough they rounded a corner as they were right infront of the octopus now. Their patrol was almost over for the day which means they can return back to base for some time off since they had the early morning shift for it. As they did ramierz smiled

As for the man he was forty by his appearance with very tanned skin along with a scar on his nose. While he had a athletic appearance seeming around 5.8 in height for the women. But he had light black hair messy slightly but sitll look presnetable.
While his attire consisted of a sailor shrit with white and blue stirps on it along with wearing a tan winter coat over it that had black fun on the collar. While he simply wore a pair of olive colored pants with some combat boots.
But the women glare the wolf down which the three now noticed wondering what he did to piss her off

"I…think this may be sedative from the looks of it. Hard to tell but maybe if we tell will what happening. He could help find her easily by tracking the serial number on it and find out who bought this"jenkin suggested making the wolf wince at that
"But he might kill me….if finds out i'm dating his daughter he'll skin my tail off my back"marrow said with worry

But as they did watching on a nearby rooftop where two cloaked figures right now. As one of them was same women with a spear as the other had a similar outfit like her but it was lined in teal now. While they seemed to be male with a metal pole on their back. As they watched them very closely.
Meanwhile elsewhere in the kingdom more importantly the council meeting room at that moment. They were all having a meeting right now to discuss certain matters but without jacque schnee in attendance right now after learning whats he done with them starting a new discussion. With peitro, carmine and merlot joining them as robyn had agine their with them behind her standing their which sleet noticed
"Mrs. hill you cannot bring any personal help into our meeting she needs to l–"he was stopped
"Actually i've talk to and she has the right to be here as much as anyone else. She has valuable intel that could be very beneficial to us"artmis stated as she knew why robyn brought her here today
"Well if where all here right now today….oh wait one of us isn't here. I wonder why"Caine smugly joked with a laugh on jacque not being here

"I did…but i used something on her to see if she was telling the truth. God what did i ask you that night when i figured out who you were"robyn asked as the women chuckled
"That i told you i was ex talon company. Along with that i escaped that hellhole with the nikos girl….saving her from going through a surgery to turn her into a grimm knight. I hated that dam job…it made me sick to my stomach being forced to work for them"agine answered
Staring at her hand right now wondering if she was telling the truth to ironwood shock robyn hand turned green. Which made him surprised because its most of the time is very accurate on telling the truth. Staying silent for a moment ironwood took a seat but placed his weapon into her view with the handcuffs
"So….hill mind telling us now why she is here? It better be good"ironwood said as the women chuckled letting agine hand go as the two sat down

I accidentally injected one then that guy started to puke up black tar or whatever. That chick tried to kill me but he held her down saying to inject her."she cotninued peeking camrine interest as she was invested in hearing about thow two
"I follow his instructions and i did…then those two started to….cry happy to not hear the things in their head. I had a few people who hated the talon and i supplied them with the small amount of syringe i had. Used them all up except this one to rescue that kid"she explained but carmine had questions
"Wait…wait who else did you run into! Because if…lec is then..then i could maybe save those innocent people lives i ruined"carmine said in tears but camilia was against that
'Abosulutly not! We are not risking our soldiers to try and rescue three…monsters"camilia argued but merlot stepped forward

"This right here is a design we've come up with. It uses miss alcus grimm stunners if you will. But we managed to replicate it with these collars here as it is based off a design i made for someone else. But far more advance with merlot helping me design the schematic"pietro started as he turned the holo progrjecotr off

"As in the renowned atlas scientist who died eight years ago in a lab explosion."sleet asked but someone added more
"He was also good friends with arthur….he helps him with his experiments along with that wisteria. Wherever she is, but we may need to figure out a way to either capture them or disable them"merlot said
The meeting soon was coming to a close as robyn was leaving caine stopped her taking her off somewhere else. While for ironwood he walked forward till peitro called out to him
"Ah james a moment of your time"pietro said making him turn to his direction
"Do you need something pietro"ironwood asked
"Well yes i would like to talk to your privately with miss alcus and merlot actually. Its about my daughter"peitro said confusing him but he nodded deciding to follow him for now wondering what this may be.
Seems things are getting interesting with marrow learning of cera being kidnapped. But seems maud tremaine took the poor faunus. Along with the introduction of pana and skipper who are my own oc's. Thanks for reading!
