It was over. The wind was rushing around as she fell through the sky. Ryuko could hear the people below her shouting, but the only thing she had eyes for was the final dissipating gusts of ash that once was Senketsu. The ground was approaching faster and faster, but Satsuki was too late. However, Ryuko was placed somewhere else, a place between death and reality, the Velvet Room.

9. Chapter 9

p class="MsoNormal"Hey guys, gals, and non-binary pals I'm writing and posting this just to let you all know that I will be discontinuing this fic for the purpose of rewriting it./p
p class="MsoNormal"A big reason for this is simply the format and premise of this fic not exactly gelling well with what I would consider to be my strengths as a writer. Instead, I want to keep the same basic idea of this fic and rework it into an episcopal format./p
p class="MsoNormal"For those unfamiliar with episcopal stories, it is essentially a method where the story is told via letters, news articles, and for this rewrite, journal entries. For a reference as to what to expect, books such as emDracula/em by Bram Stoker and fics such as emNotebooks and Letters/em by chem prof would be a good place to look./p
p class="MsoNormal"I won't give a hard timeline as to when I'll post the rewrite, but it will be as a separate fic and it will be out once I finish Operation Loose Cannon, a Harry Potter x Black lagoon fic which has one chapter to go./p
p class="MsoNormal"I really hope you stick with me on this and be sure to keep an eye on my profile for when I post the rewrite. I'm still really into this story and I'd like it to be reborn into something greater using skills that I've developed since last updating this story./p
