'Hold on!'
The charming weatherman who had been chewing on a piece of steak just a moment ago was turning red and choking. The Captain watched tensely as the manager hurtled across the dining room and proceeded with the Heimlich manoeuvre. Conflicting thoughts whirled around his head as the victim swayed between life and death. Of course he wanted the man to live another day so he could continue watching him present the weather. On the other hand, if he were to expire…the Captain could meet him in person. He pushed away those treacherous thoughts as the manager that he respected ever so much for his commanding presence and direct manner while issuing orders, had successfully revived the man.
The Captain applauded with the rest of the room.
