Hey guys, How are you?

I know you all can't wait anymore to see our hero kicking asses, but I'm really trying to make something really good, engaging and interesting.

This fic has already 95 favorites and 99 followers. Good numbers. You all made it possible. Thank you very much in advance.

So, let's go.

Infamous Smile: these are great ideas. Heinsenberg is immortal and had more than enough time to learn how alien technology works with Kevin.

spicylemonadestand: I thought something better for Moreau.

Visitor: What do you suggest about his appearance?

Lir123: Thanks.

Marshman101: I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I'll reply more after. Now read and enjoy It :)

"Shit. What's the point of making a deal if you don't even have a good plan? Unless there's a way we can talk to each other while we're separate." Ben was on his way back to the village while he thought how everything would be from then on. Maybe Karl knew a way to communicate with Ben, but they still should have elaborate a good plan.

Ben was once again near the statue, seated on that same bench, just waiting for one of those women, or the three, to come and take him.

….

"Although he agreed to help me, there are more things he still doesn't know… just like me." Karl was also on his way to his factory and while he invented plans.

He was getting out of the forest and going back to the village, and to his factory later.

"But how the hell I will…" His thoughts were interrupted when he heard a buzz out of nowhere, or he thought he had heard.

He stopped to look back and around and didn't see anything. When he saw there was nothing there, or at least he thought, he turned forward and saw someone who he definitely didn't expect to see there, right in his front, their faces a few centimeters between each other, but not the same height.

-Hi, Uncle. She said, a toothy smile on her face, causing him to almost have a heart attack. She giggled a little when making fun of her so-called Uncle, scarring him. Obviously, he hated that, even more when he saw who It was.

-Shit! What the fuck are you doing here, witch?! Karl asked, irritated, cursed himself for being off guard and forgetting to activate his electrical field.

- You're so funny when you're mad. And, I just wanted to ask you if you have seen a stranger walking around there. It's a boy-thing. Have you seen him? Daniela asked.

- Let's say yes. Why? Karl asked, knowing exactly who the redhead was talking about.

- My mother told me and my sisters that a boy-thing arrived here out of nowhere, and she wants us to take him to our castle for some reason. We heard a noise coming from here and I thought… Daniela was interrupted by Karl.

- Yeah, yeah, I know who you are talking about. I met him yesterday and he's been here just now. Karl said, making her curious, and a little bit worried.

- So… that noise was you and him… what the hell happened here?! Daniela's humor changed from calm to nervous instantly, thinking her mission might have failed and she even hadn't seen the boy's face.

- Relax, he's fine. He just said he likes tricks and then I showed him some of mine. And he showed me his ones, too. Karl said, before smoking his cigar. This last sentence caught Daniela's attention, based on what happened last night.

- Tricks, huh? And, would that have something to do with… an eyeless orange big dog? She asked, making him curious.

- What? He asked, confused.

- Me and my sisters were hunting yesterday late at night, and smelled a delicious and sweet boy-thing's blood. And then, the thing I just told you about replaced him instantly without explanation, found us and appeared right in our front, but it didn't do anything but "face us". We might be talking about the same boy-thing. Or not? Daniela asked, gesturing marks with her fingers.

- Are you sure it could not be Vârcolac and you got confused with something else? Karl asked, wanting to know more.

- Obvious, duh! Vârcolac has eyes, and it doesn't have a talking collar. There was something with a green light which said something like: "Scan completed. New DNA sample acquired."

Have you seen something like that before, or made? You work with machines all day, and it seems to be the case, right? Daniela said what Karl already suspected, and was confirmed when Daniela imitated a voice which said something Karl remembered very well.

"He said the Omnitrix can add DNA and store it inside itself. That explains how he turned into that bug-man. And it seems it's not only for aliens, but also mutated beings. I'll ask him about this anyway. And the voice is clearly artificial intelligence." Karl thought, analyzing what he was hearing carefully. He knew a little about the technology from the outside and read something in newspapers about A.I.

-He didn't show me this one. And yes, we're talking about the same boy. What he does is not something we see everyday. I mean, we see, but it's diffrent in his case. Karl said, making Daniela even more confused and curious about that whole situation.

- How? How does he do this? Please, tell me! She said, with her eyes wide.

- And ruin the surprise? No. Well, maybe he will show it to you if you ask him politely. Since you're looking for him, tell him I have a message, if it's not too much to ask . Karl said.

- What? Daniela asked, crossing her arms and her eyebrow arched, suspecting something.

- Just tell him to come to my factory tonight, exactly at 9:45pm. It's about something very important. Karl said, politely.

- Why? Daniela asked, still in her suspicious tone.

- It's none of your business. Nor yours nor of your mother's. It's only between me and him. Karl answered, a little bit irritated about that intrusion.

- I'm sorry, but that's my business, yeah. Daniela wouldn't leave there without any answer. Karl sighed in slight exasperation. He didn't want to involve anyone else in this.

- Well, what do you think about watching a "magic show" from a nice place? I guarantee you it's way better than the ones from the Circus. Karl asked, trying to persuade the redhead.

- And why the hell would I like to see a goddamn eyeless big dog doing whatever? It seems like a big waste of time. Daniela asked.

- Heh, you have no idea about how wrong you are. Anyway, that's my message to him and my offer to you. Think better, you'd love to see that. Karl grinned. Those last words from Karl to Daniela made her think a little, but she was still very confused and curious. She knew her so-called Uncle very well and he was very reliable, but he seemed to be serious.

- For your own good, I better not regret this. Daniela said, in a warning tone.

- You won't regret it, I give you my word. He said, grinning, lifting his hat a few centimeters.

Daniela faced him for a few seconds before dematerializing in a swarm of flies and flying away from here at a high speed.

"Shit." What was supposed to be only between him and Ben, it ended up turning into an entertainment for a somewhat unwanted audience.

Meanwhile

….

-Excuse me, sir. Ben was distracted when he heard a thin and low voice calling. We looked around and saw a boy right in his front, who appeared to be nine or ten years old, wearing a white rumpled button shirt, brown shorts and small leather black shoes. White skin and black hair. He was visibly worried and for some reason.

-Hi, boy. You look sad, what's wrong? Ben asked kindly.

- I don't want to disturb you. I just wanted to… ask you if you have seen a drunk man with a whiskey bottle in hand walking around. He left my home last night and he hasn't come back home yet. My mother is also very worried. He's my father. The boy said shyly, avoiding making eye contact to hide his countenance.

Ben didn't want to think about the possibility that the man, or what's left of him, he had buried in the forest last night, could be that boy's father. But considering the circumstances, he had no doubts.

All that's left for Ben was to console the poor boy, who was head down and didn't see Ben coming closer and kneel down to be face to face with him.

-Your father is a good man, isn't he? Ben didn't want to say "was" and worsened the boy's situation even more. It was bad enough.

- When he's not drunk. When he is, he says a lot of bad things to me and my mother, things like "bring that damn bottle, or I'm gonna spank you!" or "I cannot live in this fucking hell anymore!", disappears and comes back only the next day early morning. But this time, it's almost 10 o'clock and no sign of him. And, I don't know if they already told you it, but, this place is cursed. The boy said.

"He was an alcoholic asshole, but still a human being who needed help… and therapy." Ben felt sorry for the boy, who ended up talking too much, but that was what Ben wanted.

-Can I ask you something? Ben asked, making the boy look at his face for a few seconds and nod next.

- Look, until he comes back home, no matter when or how, you need to be strong. For your mother… and yourself. Just talking is easy as hell, I know, but you need to try and be stronger. That's what he'd really like to say to you if he were here. Ben said, looking at the boy's eyes, encouraging him.

- But, he's so bad to me and my mother. Just a damn sip, and it's enough to drive him crazy and do all I just said. My mother still loves him although all. Me too but not as much as her. I just don't want them to get him, as I said, this place is cursed. The boy said, still sad, thinking he was not clear enough.

- He doesn't deserve this. Everything but this. He continued, almost crying, which messed with Ben even more.

- Hey, stop crying. Do not think about bad things. I understand he is bad to you and your mother when he drinks a lot, but he's not here, and I guarantee you he'd love to be here more than anything else. It's what every father wants. It's not and won't be easy, but you have no choice. As I said, be stronger to protect your mother and yourself. Ben would repeat that as many times as necessary. In several moments of his life, he needed not only to console but also to be consoled. He knew very well how it feels to lose someone or something he loved.

-And are you talking about the monsters? If so, listen here. Ben said, making the boy dry his tears with his hands and look at Ben again.

- If there's something that scares a monster more than anything else, it's someone strong who faces them and doesn't give up until it defeats them. What your father was not for you and your mother, you can be for her and yourself. She needs someone's help, your help. Do you think you can handle it? Ben asked, grinning, making the boy's tears disappear.

- Defeat monsters? He asked, confused.

- Yeah. You cannot be afraid of them, but beat and defeat them, no matter how tough they may look. Turn into one if it's necessary, just fight and win against them. Be the hero. The boy didn't do anything, unless let his jaw open a little. What were those words? Fight and defeat monsters whatever they are? And… be the hero? It was so inspiring that it made the boy smile slightly through the few tears that almost fell from his emerald green eyes, like Ben's ones.

- Alright, I'll try It, for her and me. Thank you so much, um… you're the outsider, right? What's your name? The boy asked.

- Benjamin Tennyson, but strong guys like you always call me… Ben Ten. Ben couldn't wait to reveal this to someone, and he did it in the right moment to the right person. The boy giggled a little.

- Ben Ten? Wow. It's a great nickname. Excuse me, but I need to go now. My mother might think I disappeared, too. And, nice watch. The boy noticed the Azmuth's legacy on Ben's left wrist, and its subtle green bright.

- It's just a gadget. And don't forget: Don't be afraid of the monsters, fight and win against them… Ben was interrupted by the boy, who got the message.

- Be stronger. Be the hero. I' do it. He said, grinning, making Ben also grin in approval, who saw the boy walking away from there.

- See you, Ben Ten! The boy left him there, acenando, feeling way better than he was before.

"It seems I've got a new fan." Ben was satisfied, but he still had to wait for someone that, fortunately or not, was already there, who had heard all that conversation between him and the boy.

(Clap, clap, clap, clap…)

He heard slow applause coming from his side, a few meters, making him look around… and there was she.

-Wow, such amazing words… I almost cried. He recognized that voice. He heard it last night. It was one of the witches' voice.

He looked and saw that tall and curvy figure, with her pale skin and red hair, those golden, wild and hungry eyes that devoured him like the men-predator ones she was, wearing a black dress that contoured the curves of that sculptural body.

Before Ben could say anything, from a few meters, fifteen feet specifically, she was already a few centimeters close to him in a blink.

Their faces much closer to each other, he saw that perfectly symmetrical, smooth and made up face, black was her lipstick's color, as well as her eyelids and eyeliner.

There was a scar on the side of her head where her red hair was shaved, giving her a rebellous girl aspect, which was the icing on the "goth cake". In short, the witch was much more beautiful than Ben would like to admit, in the case of a murderer man-eater. He didn't see these details when he was turned into Wildmutt.

She blink and took a deep breath, smelling what for her was new flesh and fresh blood.

-You smell so nice. She said what sounded like a sultry praise, even obscene, but Ben knew very what smell she was talking about and was not what's left of Invictus's aroma.

Marcos and Edward really were not kidding when they told Ben how beautiful the Countess' daughters were, but it wouldn't be a pretty face that would make him forget what they truly are. Her face was close to his neck, almost making him blush.

-Um, thanks. You too. Ben said. He was not lying about this. A scent of cherry cream and orchid perfume invaded his nostrils. She looked at him and grinned as a answer.

- So you're the outsider who I've heard so much about, Benjamin Tennyson. She said, in a flirting tone, pronouncing his name sweet and slowly.

- And you're one of Countess' daughters who lives in that castle. You're more beautiful than they told me. Ben said, grinning, although not lying he wasn't not being fooled by any flirt attempt. He was not a simp.

- Yeah, that's everyone says. You are also cute. She wasn't lying either, Ben was prettier than the most of teenagers there. Young and handsome men are her favorite preys.

- And I also heard that you're some kind of magician, right? If so, it's your lucky day. She said, making Ben arch his eyebrow.

- Why? He asked.

- My lovely mother appreciates good art and entertainment, as well as good artists. Sometimes it's so monotonous inside there that even our favorite hobbies lose their charm. It's boring to do and see the same thing every damn day. You know what I'm talking about, do you? She asked, it was almost like she wanted to get along with him, it was really what appeared.

- Yeah, I know. I'd say that's your lucky day too. It would be a great idea and a pleasure to be there. Ben said, seeing his entrance ticket to the castle right in his front. She grinned, thinking to have got she wanted.

- Great. It'll have a stage reserved for you. So, what are we waiting for? Come with me. She said, grabbing and involving Ben's left arm with her right one, in a tight grip. They were on their way forward to the castle.

- And don't worry, I've already warned her your new stay will be in our castle. She said, and Ben's mind snapped.

She's been in Luiza's house looking for him or better, hunting him. He just could imagine how scared Luiza got when that redhead in black appeared in her door.

-And how long will my stay there take? And, what's your name? Ben asked.

- Daniela Dimitrescu. And I wouldn't worry about that if I were you. She answered, giggling.

- It's exactly why I'm asking, you're not me. He said. She stopped, making him stop too for a few seconds. Before he had time to realize, she grabbed his jaw in a tight, but kindly grip. They were face to face.

- Listen here, I'm just fulfilling orders but you are complicating something that's very simple, and I don't like it one bit. So, do us both a favor: Do not bother me. Her humor changed quicker than he could predict, even though she was being so kind for some damn seconds.

- Ok. Ben nodded, with a funny facial expression due to the grip in his jaw.

- See? So simple, isn't It… Ben Ten ? She giggled, before kissing him on his cheek. Then, they kept on their way to the castle. Saying that Ben didn't really like that reaction would be an underestimation.

Daniela looked at the Azmuth's legacy on Ben's left wrist for a few moments and its subtle green bright from that hourglass outline, which was identical to what she saw last night.

"It doesn't like to be a simple watch. Would that be the secret of his tricks?" She wondered.

"It was far worse than the Aunt Vera ones. Besides being a murderer, she is crazy. Hot? As fuck! But still crazy." Ben felt his name cheeks burn a little. He just left that one slide because he still had the surprise element.

"And I forgot my damn sweatshirt in Luiza's house".

….

-Mother! Mother! The boy who Ben was talking with arrived in his house and called his mother, who got scared with that.

- Damn, where the hell were you, Beneth?! I thought you had disappeared too! It's not enough that your father is gone and… Why that face? She saw her son was smiling, more than usual. He was very sad before, but no more.

-Don't worry, mother. He said. She was afflicted because of her husband's disappearance and thought her son had gone as well. She also was crying, fearing the worst, hopeless, but for some reason, her son was not feeling the same. He was happy.

- What are you saying, Beneth? Your father is gone and no one has found him. You know very well what happens when someone disappears surrendly in this cursed place and then, even you too! Why shouldn't I be worried? She asked, irritated with her son's behavior.

- Because I am, I mean, WE are still here. One for the other. He answered, surprising her.

- What? She asked.

- Even if he's not here, even if he doesn't appear today, tomorrow or whenever. I'll still be here, no matter what happens. He said, with determination and conviction. She knew something was wrong, it was not the kind of words he used to say. She saw him leave the house head down and depressed, but in that moment, something brought him joy and hope, making him smile again.

- Beneth. She said, looking at his smiling face, still a bit confused.

- I'll not be afraid of monsters, mother. No more. I'm gonna be stronger to protect you and myself and beat all of them. I'm gonna be the hero! He said, making her realize what was happening there. Her son found hope and faith where it didn't seem possible to find.

Something or someone made him find them, and gave him the right words. She could say that face monsters would kill him, but no, she just grinned, kneel down and gave him a loving hug. It almost made her cry again.

-I love you, my little hero. She said.

And Beneth, seeing his mother smile again, was feeling happy and grateful. This was his mission and he would fulfill it.

"Thank you, Ben Ten."
