Chapter 46:Long Time Friends
Inside a completely different part of the apartment right now on one of the second floors was nadia. As the tiger faunus was in a room with a few others right now mainly being colt, lilith, mars, bonnet, declan,fenix, bastet. Along with sabrina and riaze their for some reason as they were doing something
That being what colt brought with him from menagerie that she found slightly strange. The chest but not with all her sons things inside it at the moment. But her attention was drawn to what harper meant early by him doing something to help him with those nightmares before
Because last night she decided to sit outside the room but her ears picked up the sound of someone crying in their sleep. She knew who it was and had some questions right now as colt was dragging the trunk out of a closest right now
Then he walked over with ease struggling slightly as he placed it down with a loud thud being heard infront of them

The cat faunus nerovusly stepped forward"right you knew my uh family….do us a favor and maybe chill out. Because uhh that guy said you can teach him something"she said as the ghost looked at for a moment before it seemed to calm down as he shifted back to his normal appearance humming
"You know what i shall…i'll even let you lot get a peek."he said confusing them until suddenly the skull coated them in a bright white light as something was played out infront of them.
Vision
Many years ago somewhere in the anima from the looks of it. Their was a forested area with several trees right now. As the animals in the woods where grazing close by as their was nothing stirring the beauty of the landscape right now. Because traveling down a dirt path where two men on a pair of horses
The first was a man who seemed in his mid twenties with fair skin and black hair that was styled into a braid. Along with having a set of dark blue eyes. As he was wearing a pair of leather brown pants with a black long sleeve tunic on. With armor on his chest along with greaves and vambraces on as well
But strapped to his back was a quiver with a bow and arrow.
As for the second man it seemed to be in his mid twenties as well. But he had tan skin with light black hair cut short it seems. But it was hidden by a large straw hat samurai typically wore. While he wore a hakama that was red in color with a white vertical line on the chest. He wore a pair of simple sandals on his feet
But atop sticking through some holes on the hat where a pair of cat ears on his head. As strapped to his side was a katana. The two men talked
"So old friend. I told you it would be a nice day to ride our steads…and it is much needed"the first man said as the faunus huffed
"Easy their chiwa. My clan has been sighted a bit more demon activity in this area. "The cat faunus warned the man known as chiwa graves
"But it has to be nice i mean…look at the view right their"chiwa said before gesutirng to his right. As on his right their was a clear view of the open valley that was below them. Along with the rising in the distance showing the beauty of the land before it became modern years down the row. The cat faunus also known as akihiko sage chuckled for a moment
"You are right about that. But we should be heading back soon…my wife will get anger at me for leaving without notifying her"akihiko said
Chiwa rolled his eyes"come on live a little. Though…if mine was here she scares me even in that gift i got. Just like you have yours"he said as the cat faunus glanced up with a set of silver eyes that gleaned
The cat then steered his horse around as it neighed for a moment, chiwa did the same as they traveled back down the path. As they began to travel back down the long path that went down hill. Soon enough the nearby tress and bushes started to shake at that moment which akihiko noticed
The rhonin like cat placed a hand on his blade which chiwa noticed as he reached behind his shoulder drawing his boy. Then he activated his semblance as a light blue like orangiac material covered him at that moment. After that his his hands became sharp claws along with him sprotuign a set of hawk like wings on his back. Then for his face a hawk like beak formed mixed with a pair of curved antlers on his head.
Chiwa notched an arrow back into his bow string aiming it at the bushes. The two men stayed silent waiting for whatever was coming at them. Until it did as lunging from the bushes right now where maybe six beowulf along with a reaper that screeched at that slicing its sharp claws cutting some trees down
Immediately ahikhiko got off his horse holding his sword back dashing straight toward the grimm. The grimm growled and snarled seeing their enemy running straight for them as the beouwlf took charge rushing forward to chew him to pieces.
Though chiwa flappaed his wings for a moment as he took to the skies. The man quickly notched an arrow back far enough before firing off one that went flying straight into a grimm skull piercing it killing it in an instantce. Then he nothced back another arrow providing air support from behave from the old ways before they had firearms
While the silver eyes cat faunus dashed forward as a grimm swiped at him but he dodged it. Then in a swift motion upward slashed cutting the grimm arm clean off causing it immense pain as roared. But immediately he jammed the other end of his katana in his jaw. Then he dashed and sliced his way through three more of the grimm as they stood still once he got on the other side
The cat faunus flicked his sword slightly whipping the black blood off it. As the three grimm turned to dust scattering to the winds. While the last beowulf tried to sneak up on him as a bunch of arrows where show into its body knocking it to the ground
Akihiko looked at his friend who cheekly waved at him as he kept dodging the reaper trying to slice him down to ribbons right now
"A little help over her cat boy! Because this thing really wants me…or eat me i can't tell!"chiwa called out as the cat sighed in annoyance. Then he dashed forward with the grimm distracted as he quickly cut into its legs making it cry out in pain falling to its side.
While this gave chiwa the opportunity to divebomb at the grimm riaisng his bow notching an arrow back firing it into its skull. The arrow pierced its skin as it cired in pain but wasn;t dead, not until chiwa came crashing down jaming his foot into its skull piercing its brain killing it as it turned to dust
The two men fight where over as chiwa molted his armor off sighing in relief wobbling a little
"Whoa…told you…morning walks…are the best"chiwa said as akihiko sheathed his sword then stared at him dusting his hat off then placed it back on his head
"You may be right. Buts let hurry…maybe if where lucky my wife made my favorite meal"akihiko said calmly
"You mean fish? I like a bit of elk or grimm even…ughh never ever doing that again. Don't know how my ancestors did that and why"chiwa said pretending to gag making the faunus laugh as the two return to their horses continuing the trek

As they all opened their eyes right now on what they just saw right now. Chiwa stood their waiting for someone to speak
"So…do you any questions?"he asked until someone spoke up
"Sage your family used to be rohnins….awesome! My best friend is actually interesting instead of now being a pirate"tyra cheered with excitement as bombay didn't even retort a little shock to see a bit of her family history right now
"Okay…that was cool but what the heck was that?"vance asked confused
"Oh that eh just a little trick i can do with this seal. Magic is an interesting thing with this little blood seal. But i hope that little lesson was interesting because…its been a long time oz"chiwa said making some look confused but all looked at oscar who flinched right now
As in his head ozpin was surprised he knew but already guessed he figured himself out
"Oz…who are you talking about creepy ghost"falk said trying to play dumb
"Boy i am not dumb. I would like a moment alone with an old friend please"he asked kindly to them as soon enough oscar handed his body over to ozpin who looked down
"Everyone please leave. I need to talk…to someone right now"ozpin said confusing them but they immediately left with a few having questions. Shutting the lounge doors the two old friends stayed silent for a moment as ozpin looked down right now with chiwa staring at him. The of them stayed silent for a moment until it was broke
"So what gave me away?"ozpin asked
"That dumb cane you always lug around. At this point you should start hiding it…though still how have you been?"chiwa asked as ozpin soften his gaze
"Old friend if you want to scream and tell me that you hate me. Get it over with…enough of these formaltiies"ozpin said getting straight to the point which confused the ghost as he laughed at him right now
"You…you think i'm mad at you? Oh thats just rich right now"chiwa said laughing at him which caught him offguard. Because he ruined his family legacy by dragging them into that war with the witch. Along with making him and that sage girl ancestor they just saw to try and stop salem. It failed with that reincarnation dying that day not knowing his friends fate
"I..i..c-chiwa…i ruined your life…i ruined your entire familys life. They've been in hiding for the past…400 hundre years because of me. She…she even hunts down any of your kin with your unique part of your gift now."ozpin said in complete shock as the spirit exhaled slowly with a sigh
"I have seen that and from what i heard. We can still watch from beyond the grave for just a bit. But…old friend you did me and the others before me a great deed"chiwa said stunning him as the man whos lived countless lives stared at him as the two shared a look
"I can already guess that boy was in the same boat as me. But…i'm assuming you saved him before she twisted him into what i was"chiwa asked as ozpin stayed silent for a moment nodding to him as the ghost closed his eyes
"Then thank you. But do me a favor….keep an eye on him for me. I rather not see more of my kin taken by her. "Chiwa said as the headmaster bowed his head to him
"I shall…it was nice to see you again old friend. I hope when you are sent home to the crypt you can rest easy"ozpin said as the spirit nodded before vanishing in thing air. As ozpin sat their for a moment picking up his cane staring at it thinking about giving them one more week before they leave for atlas.
It seems that ozpin got to talk an old friend from the past in one of his many lives. While we got to meet one of bombay ancestors from long ago. With lilith gifting nadia the same ring her sons mother had. Thanks for reading!
