Hidden treasure

Alex asked for a oneshot of how Emma found the bottle cap opener in what was her mom's office.

"Ten minutes she said. Just a quick meeting she said." Emma groused to herself. Snow had asked Emma to come around and wait for her so they could catch up. Since Snow had become mayor she'd hardly seen her daughter and desperately wanted to have some time with her. She at least got the evenings with Charming and Neal, but nowadays Emma's evenings were spent with either Henry, Hook or both. But typically, as soon as Emma had arrived a crowd of disgruntled shop owners had pounded on Snow's door demanding a meeting about VAT percentages. She had promised Emma it would only take around ten minutes to placate the grumpy business folk but forty minutes and here Emma was with a grumbly tummy.

Her phone fast running out of battery and not having her charger with her, Emma placed it down and began to peruse the small circular office. She winced at the (in her opinion) slightly…out there painting of a bluebird on the wall. She averted her gaze from it and instead started rooting through the cabinets and drawers, knowing that her mom wouldn't mind.

It was mostly boring, ordinary, stationary stuff, but Emma found a hidden gem amongst them. Emma found that one of the cupboards was actually a fridge in disguise. Emma grinned as she found a bottle of wine hidden amongst her mom's favourite old fashioned glass lemonade bottles. She took it out and looked at it in confusion.

"Rosé? But mom likes red wine… But Regina didn't." Emma knew this from helping Henry pick out a birthday present for her. Emma knew there was a bottle/cork opener in another drawer, that she guessed her mom kept for the lemonade. "Cheers Regina." Emma said, grinning as she popped open the bottle. This wait was looking a lot cheerier.
