Chapter 49:derailed
The argus limit sped through the snowy tundra mountains as snow kept pounding down on the trian right now. The passengers inside where a little relaxed right now but where a little neoruvs seeing soldiers transproting two criminals on the train. But shokcingly a few passengers even thanks one of them.
But he was busy freaking out being in a tight space his one fear. As their were several people on the train doing their own thing right now. With the group buying room all close to each other right now. As in team ZERO right now
Zane was freaking out just a little bit being in a tight and clasutrophibic like space right now
"Man this is so much fun….are we their yet…please tell me where their"he begged and pleaded to be out of here. Dawn kept huffing at him scratching at his leg for pets. Until eventually cardin reached down placing the grimm pet on his lap.
"Just pet your weird ball of snot"cardin said as he glared at him as he did which felt a little relaxing thankfully she can make soft fur appear
"Aww cute. Though man i can't believe you guys solved a murder mystery on this train"Rogue said
"I know. It sounds like those muder mysteries you see on tv or in theaters"eden replied
Miyuki chuckled slightly"i'm lucky that isn't the case. Those two huntsman here seemed…rather simply minded in my opinion"she added
"Eh their just like some huntsman nowadays. Though your lucky where watching over you kids, along with the rooms beind connected to each other."harper added since this time they purchased rooms that had doors that connected to each of their rooms
"True but still…i haven't been on a train in a long time actually"blake replied as adam glanced at her for a moment
"Well the last one you were on with me was well…."he paused on the words as she rolled her eyes
"That i dumped you along with escaping from the white fang. I'm so happy dad and sienna are reforming them into something new. Along with a parade in our people honor…it was very nice"blake replied with a warm smile right now.
Onxyia though stared adam down for a moment because she still doesn't trust him. Because despite what hes say how does she know hes not tricking them right now after everything that happened. Along with that shes worried about ollie still being out their actually.
"Well i did push you away with my heavior back then. Though lets just hope i'm not gunned down or slated for execution when i arrive in argus"adam replied
"That may be a problem…their is probably a group of soldiers waiting their for us when we arrive"may replied
"Lets hope not. Besides you guys think we should explore the train or whatever?"nora asked as some disagreed
"Nope. sorry kiddio you aint doing that. Because next thing we know a murder or manaic is on board this train. Which means all of us need to stick together who knows what will happen"jill said glancing out the window seeing only snow blowing past the window.
But as they sat their for a bit walking past their cabin right now was lazu who noticed them
"Oh its you guys uh hey…you remember me right?"lazu asked confusing some
"Uhhh no we just met you random bird chick"merccury replied
"I think she means me and weiss. How have you been since you where cleared of all your charges from that troublesome merc"eria replied as the faunus smiled
"Great actually! I owed you guys so much for making sure i didn't get arrested that day. I'm glad that jerk got put behind bars…using people faces to hide his true appearance"lazu said which made harper raise an eyebrow at her
"Wait a minute was this guys last name dango?"harper questioned which caught them by surprised
"Actually ummm yes that was his name. Did you know him?"weiss asked as he growled at that which seemed to make him mad. Even nate looked disgusted scoffing in disgust
"Uhhh that asshole was assaulting a women i knew from the academy. He got her kicked out along with his dirty ass. I haven't heard from her in days"nate said upset as they stared at each
"Oh you mean . Shes very much safe and got put in witness protection actually. Along with that the baby she was carrying it quite safe"lazu explained which made the soldiers feel disgsuted hearing that
"Great hes carrying that dumb jerk baby. I hope hes rotting behind bars for the crap he pulled in atlas"jill added with venom in her words
"Man you guys must really hate this guy"emerlad said
"Why woudln't he? He used his dumb semblance to peep on us back in atlas. We had to do passwords and crap for months because of it"alexa replied making him seem very disgusting

"Here are the controllers for punching and moving. Although in the bar car right now alot of passenger where laughing or enjoying themselves a nice drink right now. But right now merrick was chatting up a storm with two very old friends of his as he laughed for a moment smacking his knee
"You serious sum? You've been in hiding because you had people after you?"merrick asked for her small lie
"I am. Still surprised to see you here guarding a train none the less smo. Thought you'd never do something like this"Summer replied having a nice cup of warm tea instead of alcohol
As a certain dusty qrow kept staring at the bottle of booze on display. Because the man may fight the urge to drink at time for his daughter. But sometimes the itch just comes back as he eyes a passenger with a martinni
"Man i really want to drink right now"qrow said as close by was nadia with a drink already in her hand
"Then take a drink. One won't kill you though i'm only having one gotta stay on our feet whenever something happen"the tiger meant how trouble follows those kids eveyrwhere they go which they hope never happens right now on this little train ride today
Summer rolled her eyes"don't remind me of the antics we got in back in the day. Still i'm assuming you've heard drav is also alive?"she asked
"I did. Man i hope ghira wife met him she'll be so happy. I even heard that him and his daughter lead a faunus movement. That old leader of mine was always the best example for a leader. Like it was meant to be"merrick replied sighing with a smile
Qrow chuckled with a sigh"yeah well…my sis was on the train last time i heard. She give you trouble"he asked
"Not really. But knowing her rep she was a stubborn women. Though those kids helped alot with out little muder mystery on board this little vessel right here"merrick replied as they found that a little funny
"You mean my adoptive niece…oh man if her father saw her doing that. It would be hilarious"nadia said with a laugh
But qrow kept having his focus toward the bottle sof liquor on display like fate was tempting him right now. He dabbled a bit back in deepwald because he really wanted to drown his sorrows away after hearing two of his friends was dead.
Though his wife sighed noticing him staring at the bottles of liquor on display
"Qrow you can have one small drink. Not like it'll kill you"Summer said catching him offguard hearing his wife say that right now.
"Yeah man you used to be a big drinker when we met. Yo barkeep!"merrick called out to the bartender
"You need another relief smo?"the bartender asked as he shook his head
"No please give my buddy here a drink. A whiskey with some ice along with a bit of gin in it, with a lime added on it"merrick said
The bartender nodded before reaching down grabbing a shot glass. Then he placed it down then grabbed a scooper getting some ice dumping it into the glass. Next he grabbed a bottle of gin and whiskey pouring the two into a mixer
Twisting the cap on the mixer tight tight now he began to quickly shake the concatuion for a moment. Until it was ready as he dumped the contents into the glass then placed a cut lime on it.
"Here you go on the house for two of the mighty team member of Team STRQ. got some legends on board"the bardner said reutnring to his duties
The man stared at the drink that was offered to him right now. But as he reached out to drink it he had a nagging feeling he shoudln't. Along with remebring his promise he kept to his daughter to stop drinking so much.
"Sorry i can't have it…made a promise to my little girl that i'd stop drinking"qrow said suddenly
"Well i mean if you…you have a kid?!"merrick shotued in complete shock taking his drink then down it immediately to help him process what he just heard
"Oh that teen with silver eyes just like summer over here. That her daughter"nadia replied as summer blushed rather slightly right now clearing her throat at that moment. Which made merrick look very confused for a moment
"Hey i thought you married tai….whats going on here?"merrcik asked
"Long story. But hey i can tell you sometime because i made a promise to my daugther i'd stop drinking. That i'd only do it when i'm relaxing or when i want to celebrate something"qrow replied reaching into his leg hatch pulling something out
That being a picture of him and summer both with their daughter who was a baby. Summer glanced at it smiling a little at that
"You…you kept that after all this time?"Summer asked stunned
"Why the heck wouldn't i? Made a promise i'd always keep searching for you till i did. Had this to remind me"Qrow said
But then his bad luck struck as the picture was blown out of his hands by a small fan a train attendant turned on. Although the picture landed by someone feets
"Oh…is does this belong to you?"a sweet voice asked
"That would be mine i…"summer stopped flicnhing a little right now
Because infront of her was a elderly women with dark skin and long silver hair. She wore a single braid down her back. Along with that seemed to be rather tall. Along with that carrying a cane that had a blue skull atop it
As she wore a full length dress in a tradtional tabasco style consisting of a dark blue top with full sleeves and skirt comprised of alternating light and dark blue layers. In addition to her dress, she wears thick brown gloves and a heavy blue cloak trimmed at the edges with a pattern of white. Hollow triangle on a light blue background. A similar white and blue trim is around the neck of the cloak. The cloak is secured to her shoulders with ornate white pauldrons.
But something caught summer offguard that being her left eye had a old scar over her eye. The other was on singular silver eye.
The two stared at each other for a moment before the old women lifted her cane tapping summer in the chest
"Hey skinny. You gonna keep staring at me or do you want the picture of your little girl?"the old women asked
"Oh um yes please miss…"summer paid as the old women introduced herself
"Maria Calavera"the old women known as maria introduced herself making summer look slightly puzzled
"Well are you going to introduce yourself or not"maria asked
"Oh i'm summer rose…its nice to meet you miss"summer said as she was handed back the picture with the old women walking away with her but said something to her catching their attention
"Ah wu talked about you alot. That boy did have high hopes for you"maria said walking away which caught her attention that she knew of her mentor
"Wait you knew…"She stopped seeing how the women disappeared pretty quick like she just teleport. Nadia stared at her drink for a moment getting up cracking her back loudly
"Huh for an old women she sure was pretty fast in my opinion"nadia replied
"Yeah though that name….that sound familiar to me for some reason"Qrow added
"Yes and…she mentioned wu…maybe when we get off i'll find her. We should check on the kids"summer suggested as merrick scoffed placing a hand on his revolver
"Well you got two cirminals with you. Seriously can't believe you two managed to catch one of those grimm knights alive"merrick said in disgust as they got in the hallway in the traincar. As luckily their were where barely anyone was
As immediately nadia in a swift motion slammed her arm against his throat into the train car at that moment. Then she popped one of her guanlents claws as she placed it near his face making him scared now
"What the heck is your problem lady?!"merick shotued as she glared at him
"Don't talk ill of my son. Because news flash jerk…the other one got white skin he doesn't. Why do you think those atlas grunts haven't shot him"nadia said as the man looked toward qrow for help
"Qrow…is this lady insane or something?"merrick asked
Qorw shrugged his shoulder"i don't know man. But lay off her kids or whatever because…"he paused before staring out the window seeing something fly quickly by them for a moment
Walking over to get a better look she let merrick go as their attention was drawn to the window. He waited for something to fly by again as it felt like forever for whatever passed by again. As he kept waiting and waiting for something…it finally did
As at the window something slammed agains the train car rocking it making some of the passenger scream in fear at that moment. Qrow fell down to the ground rubbing his head as nadia stumbled but steady herself. With summer grabbing onto a railing with merrick
"What the hell was that?"merrick asked
"I don't know but…"summer paused before laughing could be heard near the window. They all looked flinching seeing a black cloaked figure their with glowing red eyes staring dreiclty at her
"Summer rose…oh today is my lucky day….you'll pay for kill alpha. "Beta said as his vocie was muffle but he jump off the train like some manic it seems. As they all picked themselves up with merrick drawing his weapon.
"God dammit…course one of them is here to rescue his little pal. I'm killing that thing"merrick said rushing to the car the group was in. as they followed after him trying to stop him from doing that
As with the others they were all out of their cabines right now with passenger screaming on the trian right now. As it start to make chaos appear on the train as they noticed them approaching them
"Uhhh guys whats going on right now?"emerald asked before merrick pushed past them placing his barrel sqaure under zane jaw as he placed a figner ont he trigger. But immediately as he pressed down on the trigger his shot went into the trainroof as mercury stared at him
"Got a problem buddy?"he asked
"This thing brought one of its little pals here. A dam knight is here and he must have called him here"merrick said which caught them offgaurd one of them was here right now.
"One of them is here….oh come on i wanted a break from those creepy things"cardin whined
"Well too bad kid. Everyone get geared up now because we gotta defend the train now. Get a good eye on which one?"harper asked pumping a round into his shotgun as quickly ruby reached into the case handing adam his sword. While zane began to get geared up with his gear as summer scoffed
"I ran into most of them on my travels. Only three of them can fly that being the nevermore knight, wyvern and the manticore knight. By his voice…its beta'summer said
As she said this made zane groan feeling a massive headache as a flash went off in his head. It showed a testube of a man with the words beta and rav on it.
"You good over here kid?"jamal asked as he shook it off
"Your spot on for who that is…his name is rav. "Zane replied
"We got a name but lets get topside alright. Everyone else stay down here we can clear the cars we need someone watching the passenger inside"qrow ordered as they all nodded before some of them followed him outside
That mainly being team RWBY, ZERO, JNPR, oscar,cardin, mercury, may, perun,jill and harper along with summer and qrow. As merick joined them as they opened the doors to the outside with a thick snwony blizzard pelleting them in the face
All of them quickly got topside on the train as it wobbled as right now their where severalt things their. Several manticore where flying around all over the place dive bombing the train right now. Along with that a few huntsman on the top with dudley and dee their joining them fighting off the grimm on the top
Immediately as dee reeled his club back as it had eletric spikes coming off of it. He smacked a manticore back into dee who raised his rfile blasting it in the head killing it as it turned into dust. The two huntsman were close as they high fived each other.
"Nice job dudley"dee comeplimtned
"Same too you"dudley complimented as their group quickly got over their one train car back from them. As merrick kept trying to reach for his scroll but wobbled from all the shaking on the train at that moment
"What the heck is going on right now?!"perun shotued to the two as they turned to them
"Sir we got grimm! We don't know what but we–"dee was stopped as something came by fast snatching him up
All of them looked at the same cloaked figure now known as rav held him up by his throat. In a swift motion rav snapped the man neck as he went limp then tossed him off to the side into the mountains below never to be seen again
Dudley went wide eyed growling at him"you'll pay for taking dee!"he shouted firing off a fet shot that hit him. But they went through his cloak or he either didn't feel it as he began to laugh at that for a moment
"How cute….your next"rave said before dive bombing slamming onto the train making a dent where he grabbed dudley. The grimm hybrid laughed mancially as the man reeled his fist back punching him in the gut a fews times doing no affect
Merricm growled raising his revolver firing off a few shots in his side. But it made a ping noise like he was wearing armor. Then the wind started to pick up speed which caused the knights cloak to be torn away revealing his appearance
That being a man who seemed to be in his mid forties along with that being quite tall for his age. Along with having a broad and muscular apperance. With his skin being ghostly white like his queen with a set of crimson red eyes that pierced through the snow. But for his grimm features he had a pair of large maniticore wings on his back along with a set of claws on his hands and feet. His mouth and throat looked slightly strange like it was charred
As he was wearing a set of black leath pants with a set of black worn out combat boots that seen alot of combat. Along with that he had greaves on his legs colored bone white along with armor on his forearms, biceps along with his chest sharing the same color. Their was also how he wore crimson red longsleeve underneath a black field jacket that looked like its been torn.
But strapped to his back where two large maces.
Rav began to laugh as he opened his maw tearing into the man throat. Dudley wnet wide eyed gurgling on his blood. Once he tore his flesh out he swallowed it tossing the man hard into the mountain as he vanish. Then he stared the group down
"Ohhh isn't this interesting…i get to kill my queens target. Along with the traditor….you'll pay for killing kiyo. "Rav said with a growl as zane scoffed drawing his revolvers twirling them
"Screw you too rav. God i just remember who you are slightly…your a copy of conri i think"zane taunted making the grimm hybrid growl as with a mighty flap of his wings he opened his mouth beginning to charge something. As his throat began to glow bright red hot
"Uhhh anyone else noticing that thing throat glowing?"perun pointed out
"Hit the deck!"summer shotued as they all did as requested
Immediately rav fired a bolt of fire at them hitting the trian causing it to shake even more at that moment. Then he began to fly around the entire trian chagrin up more bolts firing upon the train to derail it.
"Okay thats not good..he can fire balls of fire at us"Cardin replied
"Focus. Everyone deal with the grimm and watch each others back…and rav is a stubborn man. But watch out when he charges his bolt of fire it leaves him open"summer isnturcted as they nodded dashing off to fight any grimm that stood in their way
But soon enough merirck grabbed his scroll as he stared at a display screen. Then he pressed a few buttons on it at that moment. In an instna the train defneses activated for when grimm attak the train
The trian armor activated as reinforced plating covered most of the train while metal bars criss crossed the windows. Then from the top a series of turrets rise above the train and began targeting any grimm that where mid air. As a group of manitcore get shot down into mince meat truning into dust
"That will kill these things"merrick said in joy
As with blake and yang they tagged team a grimm together. As the cat faunus threw her ribbon around the neck of the manticore tossing it to yang as it was in midair. The manitcore kept flying trying to break free of its restraints. But yang with a mighty tug brought it down onto the top of the train hard as it bounced
Blake dashed forward extending her prosthetics claws as she leaped ontop of it. Then she stabbed into the face as it roared in pain disppaeirng into dust. As she reocvered yang rushed over handing her back her weapon
"Thanks"blake thanekd quickly as they continued to fight the grimm off at that moment
While close by cardin and jaune where working together to take down a manticore together. As jaune used his hardlight dust to block off a few fire balls that came at them at that moment. Rogue ducked down slightly as she groaned
"I hate manticores! They always give me bad luck!"she shotued
"Well because you almost got killed by one before…though this time you got friends"mercuy joked back
"Guys need a plan on dealing with this thing. Got us pinned down and their are a bunch more"cardin said with haste firing his mace at a manticore that tried to snatch them up. But his blast knocked it into the mountain side killing it as it turned into dust
Jauen thougth for a moment then stared at mercury for a moment with an idea
"Rogue give mercury one of your machine guns. Then cardin booast him upwards"jaune ordered which made them think he was crazy for a moment
"Just do it!"he shotued
Immediately rogue tossed one of her submachines to her boyfriend who primmed the hammer on it. Then cardin bent down as he cupped his hands together to boast him. Immeedailty mercury got on his hands as cardin using his strength to baost him over the shield at that moment
Then before they knee it jaune rushed forward with his shield at the ready as the two followed after him. The grimm noticed its prey coming straight for it as the beast flapepd its mighty wings ready to fire a devastating fireball at them. But instead it felt several bullet hit its thick skin as now on the train was mercury dashing forward with inferno in its split form fors it submachine gun.
This distracted the grimm temporarily as it roared at him riaisng a paw to swip at him. But using his enhanced speed he sped right past it sliding underneath his paws. Then blasted off with his boots to get above it as he kicked them again with a loud shotgun blast going off.
Immedialty he made contact slamming straight into the grimm hard as he did it just in time. Jaune was raising his sword under its jaw as his sword pierced right through the lower part of its jaw killing it. The four quickly regroup as merucyr handed rogue her sub machine gun back
"Nice idea arc. Guess you are a good leader"merucyr replied
"He is though lets keep assisting everyone and get rid of that flying guy"cardin said as they continued the fight against the grimm ontop of the train to defend its passengers
While with qrow right now he and may with wiess and ruby where firing at something right now. tha t being a different type of grimm.
A large and slender grimm with a feline like bodie as it had large feahtery wings. They have a round head with a very short somewhat narrow snout with a four crested bone white mask on its face. It seemed to resemble a feline in design with red glowing eyes behind it. As its paws had thre toes, with a tial resembling a white snake. The mane appears to resemble human hair even.
"What the heck is that thing?"may questioned
"Its a sphinx their very similar to manticore but with slight difference. Watch out for its tail"ruby warned as they all agreed on that
As immediately weiss summoned a few ice glyphs firing off shards of ice glpyhs at it. Then she began to launch a barrage of them into the grimm that made it his at them. Then qrow ruhed in with barigner in its scythe form as he began to attack it slahsing at its leg. It tried to crush him with its large paw he turned into his avain form landign right behind it
While may lifted her beanie up taking a deep breath switching to her thermal vision. Then she fried off a few quick shot nailing the grimm a couple times in the body slightly stunning it. Thought the turret fired at the sphinx from behind as it called out to its master being rav
Rav looked down glrowling with his maces out pointing at them sending two more manticores their way. As he eyes one target that being zane, oscar, eria and jill trying to tell merrick to shut the turrets off
"Turn the dam turrets off you idiot!"jill shouted
"No way! Are you insane because we need them to deal with this thing!"merrick argued as the turret began to fire killing three more manticore. Eria had her shotgun out firing into one killing it on imapct as she growled
"That won't matter lead them to the back! Along with that separate them from the grimm knight!"eria shouted
"That doesn't matter hes helping them."merrick said again as jill fired at a few grimm sweeping by as she grutned
"The kid is safe just–"She was stopped before rav dive bombed into her sending her to the ground hard. Before they could react he raised his maces bringing them down onto her back hard as she cired in complete pain feeling something crac
Zane went wide eyed growling"get away from her!"he shotued as he fired off a few shoots into him hitting him. But rav laughed as he flew back up pointing ahead of them.
"Run my pets! Head them off soon!"rav ordered his pack as the grimm started to fly away which confused them. Then oscar looked where they were heading that benign a tunnel
"TUNNEL!"he shouted getting all of their attentio right now. Immediately all them noticed thei all getting back down below. But as they were fast apporahcing it merrick did the same but his arm was stretched out as impacted the tunnel wall with a loud bone snap being heard a she yelled in pain
Back inside the train they all regroup as they brought jill in but she kept gasping for air right now from that attack. Immedialty nate rushed over taking his bag off to pull out a medkit
"Dammit…damiit hold on…just hold on we can make it out of here"nate said going through his supplies placing her hands under her body with velvet assisting him. But as they put pressure jill cried in pain before they all noticed something. That being a very large pool of blood starting to form under her as she laughed a little with a weak smile
"So…i guess…this might be how i go out. Hey…throw me a…party in my honor"jill weakly said as nate shook his head
"Come on no…no i am not losing another life. Never again…come on…come on"nate said shaking her but they could only watch as she breathed her last breath. Then she went limp on the ground as she layed their dead ont he ground.
They looked shocked right now as alexa clenched her fist shutting her eyes from the sight. Jamal shook his head in sadness with nate being pulled back by the two right now shaking his head with tears forming
"No..no i can save her dammit! We aren't losing anyone….no!"nate shotued as the two held him back as harper walked over closing her eyes as a sigh of respect. Then he glared at merrick holding his broken arm
"Why the hell didn't you shut them off!?"harper said picking him up shoving him into a wall hard
Merrick groaned in pain"i needed to keep everyone alive here! Not my fault those two things brought them here!"he shouted back
"That dam thing out is the bad guy not the kid! You just got my squadmate killed! I've known her for seven years you asshole!"harper shotued slamming him against the wall
"Well you did your job atlesian….i'm doing mine"merrick spat back spitting in his face as he growled at him reeling his fist back to punch him. But immediately qrow held him back as the man was screaming at him right now.
But ruby looked out the window seeing the manticores entering the tunnel with rave waiting for them. Then she glanced at her friends then the passenger on the train seeing a crying child holding her mothers for dear life
"Screw you!"harper shotued trying to punch him
"Get off me you psycho!"merrick shouted back as soon she stepped forward
"Please just shut the turret off"ruby asked kindly
"Trust us we know what were doing. Beside we got something to kill that guy"zane said gesturing to some syrigne in his pouch. Jaune walked over focusing his aura beginning to heal merricks arm. Seeing their determine looks he sighed turning them off.
"Okay good…hey ren you can use your semblance to mask everyone emotions on the train now"rogue said
"With the guns off and emotion hidden perfect camofaugle. Might even confuse that grimm freak up their"falk replied
"But i've never done something this large to affect this many people"ren replied
"Well i can help i can amplify your aura. But…i think hes also after you two"jaune said pointing at summer and zane.
"Of courses hes after me. Look i can stay on the back of the car or something lure him back their. Then if i gotta…well you know"zane said as someone stared at him that being nate who walked over
"Nuh uh if someone gonna kill that thing its me…he took jill. He needs to pay"nate said. Soon enough ozpin took over oscar bodie as he grabbed the relic presenting it
"I'm afraid their another thing their attracted to. That being the relic…grimm are attracted to this"ozpin said which made them all stare at him in compelte shock that grimm are attracted to that relic right now
"Are you serious?!"perun shouted
"You should have told us that day one…did you know that?"zephyra asked
"No we didn't. Oz you got some explaining to do right now"summer warned as they stopped that immediately
"It doens't matter right now. Whats more important is keeping the train safe"velvet reminded
"Shes right. Every second where on board we put everyone at risk and in danger. Get all the passenger to the front cars. Mask their emotions and kill the turret some of us can't come with you guys. Sorry but we can deal with the grimm ourself. Make sure everyone else gets to argus safely"ruby ordered
As joining her was her teammates, rogue, onxyia, zane, may,nate lazuli, adam, cardin, zephyra with summer and nadia by their sides. Jaune finished healing merrick arm as qrow had a conflcited look
"Promise me that you will meet us in argus"qrow said as summer nodded to him
"I promise…i'm not leaving this time"summer siad with confidence as he returned the gesture.
Immediately him and the rest of the group began to escort and evaute any passenger to the front of the cars. While they did they didn't see that maria was heading to the back studying ruby and summer humming to herself right now.
"Well you two seem interesting"she said to herself following after the group right now at a slow pace like any elderly person.
Immediately once they all got topside of the train. The turrets began to go back down below as onxyia was busy decoupling the train. She pulled out the pin which sent the front half to continue forward. But as she did she looked up seeing something
That being a hoodie figure that resembled ollie with spider likes limps behind him. Immediately she got ready for a fight but saw no one was their. It must have bee her imagiantiona she used her glaive to join the others onto the top of the train car
She looked down a few train cars then at her seeing it was her and the other with her dad portrait on one with the signal low. Then looked up seeing the manticore and sphinx exting the tunnel and taking flight once again. As the shinx landed on the tunnel with rav their presenting both maces
"Now!"she shouted
Qrow got her message nodding to jaune and ren. The two of them combined their semblance as one as jaune enhanced ren aura to the point where the entire front half of the train was greyed out by his semblance. Asoscar watches the train disappear into the snowstrom as they all where attached by grimm
But soon enough as they began even fight the grimm right now. The sphinx kept snapping at summer who kept dodging its hit. While rav dived bomb zane into the train roof raising his claws laughing
"Die!"he shouted but immediately cardin body checked the grimm knight hard off the train. Rav landed into the mountain hard as he began to tumble away from them screaming as he disappeared into the snowstorm
"Whoa…i think you might have taken one out"lazuli commented
"Maybe don't sit down just yet we gotta take that thing down"may replied
"We need to ground it now!"ruby ordered as immediately onxyia dashed forward lifting her hand up. Then shadow like hands where summon that starting to grip its body pushing it forward onto the ground. As the hands wrapped around its waist tight forcing it on its stomach as it roared at their trying to break free by flapping its wings
But immediately rogue loaded an ice dust shell firing it at one of the wings deoanting on it freezing it as it began to shatter on impact. While weiss summoned an ice glyph launching ice into its wing freezing it also shattering it into piece
While both summer and ruby had their scyhtes out at the ready as it tired to launch more fire balls at them. But zane shifted into his titan form slamming down on both its jaw as a fireball was slowly building up in its jaw.
Though the mother and daughter duo then fired off both their weapons properling them foward toward the grimm. As they spun their sctyehs together in a rapid mother as the cut the sphinx down its legs and joined in the middle to cut it down. Before long they got to the other side as it started to die.
But as it did with one last show of stubrroness like its master. It launched a few more fireballs at the track infront of them. Immediately zephyra noticed it going wide yed
"Everyone it got the track!'she called out as weiss summoned a black glyph to hold them all into place. As immediately zane grabbed the closest people that being yang and rogue shielding the two in his titan form. Then before they knew it the train came toa screeching halt as it tipped over
After some time the train was comply destroyed right now being derailed. With the train car crashed and buried in the snow. All of them where everywhere right now at that moment as they began to pick themselves up right now.
"Everyone okay?"summer asked rubbing her head for a moment seeing her daughter next to her sighing in relief
As nate was groaning on the ground trying to pick himself but cried out in pain. Catching their attention as he had a piece of metal in his side as he grunted with blood dripping from his wound
"On no…someone go search for a medkit inside the train hes hurt!"weiss called out
"No..i got one in my pack…god..this hurts"nate said grunting in pain as zephyra along with weiss began to get to work helping him
"Anyone else hurt?"adam asked then someone else spoke up
"Still alive! Well if you count being old"maria saiad stepping out of the train which made them stare at her stragenly
"What? That sure was a close one you kids had"maria said as they all just survived a train crashing and now needed to figure out where they where right now.
