Charlie was excited, because today was Clara's first full day at the Hotel, and she was ready to help her get started on redemption.

"Charlie, I know you're excited, but let me tell you some important things about Clara." Vaggie said, "One, she doesn't like people getting in her personal space. Two, she takes time to warm up to strangers. Three, and most importantly, do NOT ask how she died."

"Don't worry, Vaggie, I won't." Charlie said, "Because you two will be spending the day together!"

Vaggie stopped and looked at her.

"What?"

"You know her better than anyone, which means I am putting you in charge of her for today." Charlie said.

Before Vaggie could respond, Charlie grabbed her and brought her to the lobby, where Clara was. Charlie pushed the two outside and smiled.

"Have a fun day!"

Charlie closed the door, and they could hear the door lock.

"... Didn't even know that door could be locked." Vaggie said.

"Well, seems like we're having a fun outing." Clara said.

"Well, I hope you're paying for it."

Clara pulled out a card and handed it to Vaggie. Vaggie looked at it and was confused.

"Why do you have my old credit card?"

"Mom never shut it off. It should still work." Clara said.

Vaggie looked at her card, black with a red pentagram on it. In red letters was the card number and her name on it.

"This isn't mine, my name isn't Vaggie Carmine."

"Regardless of what you think, you are still a Carmine, and that means you're still my sister." Clara said, "Now let's go have some fun."

Clara started to walk, and Vaggie just sighed and followed Clara.

Elsewhere, Carmilla was in her office, doing work when she looked at the picture again. She hated how she pushed Vaggie away, and now she hated how Clara has left too.

'Did I fail her too?' Carmilla thought, 'Wouldn't be the first time.'

Carmilla began to remember how it happened, how she ended up here, how she condemned her daughters to hell... how she got them killed.

1979, Columbia

A woman in her mid-forties fell to her knees, covered in blood after a shoot out between the military and the Cartel she sells guns to. Her tears ran down her face, as she looked at the two bodies on the ground. One with a bullet hole in her head, the other barely clinging to life as the hole in her chest was taking away her last breath.

"Mother?" Odette asked, barely able to speak above a whisper, "I... it hurts."

"I know." Carmilla said, "It will be okay. It will..."

Carmilla never was good at lying to her daughters. She looked over at Clara's lifeless eyes, knowing she'll never see the life behind them again. She couldn't do anything but hold Odette's hand, hoping she'll be able to at least provide comfort in her final moments.

"I... I feel... tired." Odette said.

"Rest, hija... everything will be fine when you wake up."

Odette's eyes began to lose their light and she released her final breath. Carmilla couldn't stop crying. She pulled her daughters' bodies close and hugged them as she cried. Their blood staining her clothes and hands, which she found fitting as she's the one that got them killed. After several minutes, Carmilla pulled out a revolver and checked the cylinder. One bullet left. Carmilla closed it and put the barrel against her head... and pulled the trigger.

Carmilla didn't realize she was so lost in her memory that almost 30 minutes passed. She stood up and walked out of the office, she needed to get her mind off of her biggest mistake.

Outside of a bar, Vaggie felt the need to smack Clara on the back of the head.

"I haven't been here since I stormed out of mom's house." Vaggie said.

"Come on, it'll be fun, we used to Bar hop all the time." Clara said, "Just us, no one's going to care, we can just drink and have fun."

"I hope you're right about that." Vaggie said.

Little did they know... someone was following them.
