Hariett rubbed the back of her neck sighing"because well we did do recon here for a week or two ago. Though few days ago they had a nest just popped up here…which was weird. "She replied amking them uneasy hearing their was a nest of grimm here
Though right now they approached one of the demo crew who where finishing up placing some explosives on the old building. But some soilders where escorting some people out of the building who where homeless it seems since it was abdaoned
Robyn soften her gaze seeing that glaring at clover who sighed
"We just found them in their….look i'll have my boy get them somehwere warm okay"clover siad making her feel a little better
"Do that because if i find out their are dead bodies in their. I'm going to teach you a lesson ebi"robyn warned
"I'm sure you will though lets check on the demo crew then we can clear this place out."Clover said as they apporahced them. Though hariett felt like someone was watching them as she glanced at a nearby roof seeing nothing their guessing her head messing with her
But as they walked more on the rooftop two cloaked individual spied on them close like they where keeping an eye on them
Once they got to the demo crew the foreman was just finishing up setting the charges for the building. Then he turned to them laughing slightly
"Oh hello their…you all here to check up if we got everything set up to blow this thing open"the foreman asked
"We sure are…though how are the charge they spread around evenly?'clover asked
"Yep. just gotta push this here switch and everything can start….anyone wanna do the honor right now?"he offered
No one stepped up at first until yuri raised her hand excited because she may work with medical euqipmnet. But the chance to blow a building up was a once in a lifetime opportunities
"Me! Me! Me!"yuri shotued in excited which made them laugh as he offered her the switch
The man started to count down from three for her as the faunus grinned on what she was about to do. As once he reached three she pushed the switch down as suddenly the building infront of them started to blow up with a loud explosive ringing out as the building started to crumble from the impact of the explosives
As a large dust cloud came from the building covering them as they all coughed from it. Though after maybe a few minutes it soon cleared revealing the destroyed building as yuri cheered loudly
"That was awesome! I wanna do it again"yuri said as her ears tiwtched
Clover chuckled"maybe next time we need a demo fox we'll call you i…"he stopped before noticing something. As it made them look in his direction seeing something weird. As from the rumble slowly emerging from some ramp it seeing where several figures
Several soldiers began to line up their weapons as clover put a hand up to tell them to hold fire. Then he stared at the figures approaching them
"Halt! Who are you?! If your civlians please respond….now!"he called out but instead of a person speaking they got a very loud scream at them startling them. As slowly the figures stumbled through the fog to reveal what they were
They were humanoid like creatures with jet black skin as their apperance was almsot skeletal in design. But it lacked any viable eyes on its face. While it had bone white ribs sticking out along with a faceplate on their head being bone white as well.
As immedialty robyn went wide eyed"god dammit…is a nest of husk! Open fire!"she shouted as they all began to open fire on them as several of them rushed forward screaming as one lunged right at them
With this chapter coming to the close I introduce the Husk, their sort of like the zombies of the world. Along with that leah starting stuff with pyrrha resulting in her getting blamed for june getting hurt. Their is also will learning of his daughter going missing. Thanks for reading!
