Chapter 53:A Genies Tale Part 2
Soon enough someone slowly opened their eyes as they found themselves in a completely white space. But that someone was ozma who gasped as he took in their surrouding. Everyone was their watching this as he wander the place endless with no goal in mind
This kept going on like he was searching for something right now as soon enough someone called out to him
"Ah ozma"the goddess of balance called out
Ozma turned to the goddess with her brothers by her side in their dragon forms. But immediately the two changed back to their regular forms as they walked away disappearing from his sight
"Where am i?"ozma asked
"Well were between realms. I'm afraid tragedy has befallen your home at the hand of my idoitc brothers. We may haven chosen to depart from this world but well that idiot little brother of mine left his pets. But me and my other brother discussed and wanted to offer you something"the goddess said
"I don't understand?"ozma replied
"Its simply mankind is no more, yet your world remains. And in that time your kind will grow to walkes it face once again. But without our presence they will be a fraction of what you once where shamefully"she said
Then suddenly four objects appeared infront of her a sraff, a sword, a crown and lastly a lamp
"These are the four ideals we based upon humanity. That being creation, destruction, choice and knowledge. But i leave them behind with the hope you will learn to remake yourself"she continued as they all turned into yellow orb conjoined together
"If you bring all four together. Me and my brother will be summoned by them back to your world, and humanity will be judged. If your kind learned to live in harmony with one another and set aside their different, then we shall once again live among you, and humanity will be made whole again."she said before pausing.
"But if your kind is unchanged, if your demand out blessing while fighting amngest yourself, the man will be found irredeemable and your world will be found irredeemable and your world will be wiped from exitsne. Until your task is complete, you will reincarnate but in a manner that ensures you are never alone."she added
Ozma then fell to his knees as he came to terms with this ultimatum. Oscar watched him make his answer
"I'm sorry but…that world just isn't dear to me without her. If i may i'd rather return to the afterlife to see salem"ozma begged
"You won't find her their"the goddes said
Ozma went wide eyed" you mean she isn;t gone?"he asked stunned
"Salem does live yes, but the women you hold deer is gone. Heed this warning…where you seek comfort you'll only find pain…so will you-"She was stopped as he gave his answer
"I''ll do it"ozma said as she looked surprised how quick he answered
"Well rather quick are you. Very well our creation rest within your hands. But…i've bestow certain people that share light and dark. "The goddess said before disappearing as a white light enveloped ozma
"And so ozma was reborn"jinn said
Soon enough it changed as ozma was reicnarneted into a new body. That of a man with a tanned complexion and pale blonde ahir, who had just stbbaed a beowulf with a pitchfork as it just turned to dust. Ozma took in his new surrounding to come to terms with this new body and surrounding. He looks up and see people screaming and running into the forest he is in away froma burning vialgle in the distance
"Where am i?"ozma asked
Ozma then heard a mans creaming and looks seeing a man trying to stab a grimm. But failed as ozma previous soul took over rushing in as he grabbed nearby corpse sowrd and slayed the beowulf in a swift motion. He helepd the man up
That being a man who had tan skina long with wearing a simple tunic along with a pair of brown pants. Along with having light black colored eyes with black hair cut short as he held the sword in hand offering it to him.
"Thank you. Please tell me your name?"the man asked
Suddenly this reincarnation of Ozma didn't even know who he was as he threw the sword to the ground staring at his hands. Then as oscar watched the scene before him speaking for the man
"I don't know"oscar/oazma voice mixed together leaving the man puzzled as he introduced himself
"Well i'm ryko benkei. Its a pleassure to meet you mysteriou man who saved my life"ryko said as this was when he met bashira first ancestor long ago. As watching this oscar went wide eyed in disbalief
It then hsowed the two walking with each other as they rushed off into the city to save who they can it seems as jinn continue
"A first of many allies but tragically after teaching him neccseasary skills to survive. He showed them the ufnamiliar world to him. Cities that looked different. Creatures known as faunus who bore fangs and claws locked away in cages. Without their gods blessing no one could perform the magic like mankind once did. No but himself and a witch"jinnn cotninued
As it showed ryko showing him cages that contained faunus which disgusted ozma not because of their traits. But because they were locked in cage the same thing ryko shared with him. But it kept showing the two of them as it showed ryko training him with a bow along with a sword
The two of them seemed to be close friends until one day he tragically lost his life as it showed him dying of an illenss in a campsite. With the only one by his side right now being ozma
Ryko coughed into his hand"So…this is the end of me. A simple fever will be the death of me"he said coughing hard spitting up some blood
"No…it'll be fine…i we can find this witch. Maybe she can heal you old friend"ozma said as the hunter stared at him shaking his head as he placed a hand over his as he returned the gesture
"Its' too late for me…go find this little tall tale of a witch in the woods my friend."ryko said before long he took his last breath as he closed his eyes at that moment passing on peaceful. The scne showed ozma weeping for his friend as it immediately changed
"During his years of travel he heard the same firgthening whisper of this terrifying sorrcess who commanded dark powers in the wilds among beast and monsters. Ozma was convinced that witch was his love he lost his first companion. But he needed to see what she became
Soon it showed ozma arriving somewhere at a distance. A small little cottage out in the woods with sign warning people to stay away from the home. But soon the door opened as their could be only be darkness seen inside of it. But then someone stepped out
That being salem who wore a black robe during this time as she stared him down with a glare. But as she did her expression softens upon the visitor before her as he smiled back at her
"Salem?"ozma called out
"Ozma?"salem called out as the two of them walked toward each other embracing each other ina loving embrace. Soon enough the two kissed each other on the lips as they released returning back to their home
"Call it magic or call it something wrong. But those two knew who exactly stood before each other."jinn said
As time began to pass liek that as the simple little ruined cottage then turned into from being dilaptidated state to a much better condition. Following with the two of them on a table on the front porch recounting their events that brought them here
"As salem and ozma both recounted the event that had brought them together, each withheld parts of their sotry. Slame fearing ozma would reject her blamed for the end of the world on the gos. Ozma still unsure of the where this truth lay, kept his task and the relic a secret. Though as time pass and all seem well"jinn said
"But soon the conversation with the goddes of balance linger in his mind. But he found happines and humanity seemed more than divided than ever before"jinn added
"Ae you not surprised? This world is qutie literally godless. These humans have no one to guie them and perhaps that all they need"salem said confusing him
"What are you saying?"ozma asked as she smiled at him
"We become the god of this world. Our power surpass all others. Our soul can transcend death. We can mold the lands into whatever we want, what you want, create the paradise that the old gods could not."salem expalined
Ozma seeming trouble at this at first he smiled in agreement with her. The two look at each other in their eyes as soon she planted a affectionate kiss on his cheek
"The hearts of man are easily swayed"jinn said
It showed a village under attack by a nevermore that cawed trying to attack the villager before it. But then a purple energy surround the nevermore cuaisng it to be bent and fodled in unnatural position. Then it disntergates as the villagers looked as ozma once again wield his scpet and wearing regal robes now.
While salem leivated in the air side by side above them with her love. They all bow down to the couple in reverence. As soon onxyia and blake walk forward seeing two grand statures erected for the two like they were their saviors
"The two amassed a following. The following then grew intoa prosperous kingdom"jinn said
Then suddenly a grand castle appeared that stood tall with a kingdoms residents below in their homes and business. While their two leaders or their gods overlooked them high above. Inside a room of the large castle their was a portrait of salem and ozma together now
"And at the head of a kingdom it blossomed along with that…a family"jinn said as the family potrait changed as soon four little girls appeared in it. As it showed the four daughters all wearing something similar to the four colors of the four maindes. Spring, winter, fall and summer.
As the four little girls where all wearing matching dress playing with each other. As salema nd ozma both eatched the four playing until one of them rushed over playfully tugging on her mother robe. Then alem reached down holding her daughter in her arms smiling then smiled at ozma who returned it
Then the blue smoke translation them to another scene before them. As it shoulded a massive conflcit between people that was being observed by salem who was smirking at the sight of it right now. While a short distance away was ozma from her looking outside of a window.
"Are we sure this is right?"ozma asked troubled
Salem looked toward her love"you said we needed to bring humanity togehter. In order to do that we have to spread our word and desotry those who deny it"salem sadi calmly
As this made ozma have a shocked expression on his face upon hearing those words. Then he gazed at his relfeciton in the window as it stared back at him talking to him
"What are we doing?"ozma asked
This made ozma reel back in horror at what the reflection asked him a question then he briefly became his orginaly incarnation before looking at salem
"This isn't what she asked of me"ozma said
"What did you say?"salem asked confused until the two heard the door open. As running inside excited was one of their eldest daughter who came to the two with a bright smile
"Mother! Father! Look!""the eldest daughte cheered
Their to their shock their daughter conjured up multicple colroed wisp that can fly in circles in front of her. Alem had a proud expression on face. While ozma looked rather surprised but looked down with a trouble look again
Then it showed the other four sharing the same magical gifts just like their elder sister with salem having a proud look on her face for all her daughter.
"It was a miracle their children could pefrom magic. But what should have beena joyous occasion was short live"jinn said a sit transitioned the scene to ozma explaining to him what the goddess of balance told him in his study
"Ozma told salem everything. The true reason the goddess of balance had rboguth him back and the relic that where scattered all over the world. The day the judgment he had been told to prepare for"jinn continued
As ozma neared the end of his epxlation"that why she brought me back to face their judgment"ozma said as she had a different reaction
"Don't you see none of that matter now? Because we can spend our lives trying to redeem these humans whe we can replace them with what they could be? Maybe even get rid of that women so called allies she told you"salem said with a smile
But he looked disgusted at her as she offered a hand but he backway in disgust
"I need time to think"ozma said leaving her alone but the women stared him down with a gaze becoming unetrsuhtowrhy of her love now
As the scene then changed to ozma quietly escorting his daughter through the quiet halls. As the youngest held her elder sister hand holding a plushie in her hand but noticed someone down the hall
"Mommy?"the youngest innocently called out as ozma seemed to stand on ends
Then he glanced down the grand hall to see salem staring him with menagcignly.
"Girls….get over here right now"salem ordered with a motherly tone as they almost did but ozma put a protective shield over his daughters as he stared her down
"Don't you touch them. Your not going to lay a hand on them…and corrupt them"ozma said
Realizing what he was doing right now she immediately conjured a red beam from her hand shooting it at him. Ozma then coutner her attack laucnhign a green bream of energy he conjured. As their attack soon engufled the area in a bright light
Ruby and yang both watched in horro as it showed the two fighting throughout the castel at that moment. But as their battl continued it hsowed the daughters tying to run to safety at their father behest. But utelimaly as the battle continued each of them began to fall slowly.
With the eldest trying to protect her younger sister from debris that landed on her crushing her. As the second was accidentally shot with a beam of red energy. While the last two hled each other as the two parents that they knew started to fight like wild animals. As soon with all the fighting happening their loving home started to fall apart at that very moment
Soon the castle came down crashing on them collapsing and desotyring the entire building in the process. As the dust began to settled all that remained was a small charred plushie with a little girl hand close to it. As their remaining daughter where killed.
But ozma was weakly crawling away leaving a trail of blood. But salem reformed thanks to her immortality and angeirly walked over to him. As she got close she kicked him over placing her foot on his chest as she held him down
"We finally had out freedom….a family….but no…"Salem paused as she raised her hand up as he weakly looked up at him
"I..i"ozma couldn;t finished as she blasted him away with a blast of fire that eungufled him once again killing him. Then as it settled she dropped to her knees glancing at her daughter who layed their dead as she gritted her teeth crying out to the skie cursing the same gods again
"Thus began a long and painful cycle of death and rebith for ozma. But luckily he had some allies over the years"jinn said
As it showed him beginning to meet with one of his lives later down the line. As he was a man with short dark brown hair and a deeper skintone. Along with wearing glasses with a wider jaw than any other incarnation he had. But he was consrcitping someone for something.
That being something with a man who had fair skins with a set of purple eye along with black hair. But he had worna simpelt tunic colroed purple with green pants. But in his pant legs they were empty as he didn't have both his legs as he simply sat in a wheelchair.
This was fruguson rhodes ame rhodes long ancestor. As he was creating something for the man before him at the time. That being a certain cane as this was one of his lives after he died as ozma
"Here you go old friend….i present to you something that i hope you will find useful"frugoson said handing him the cane as the man smiled
"I must hank you old friend. This will prove very useful in this battle of mine…i will also come by another time. You've been a good friend to me"the reincarnation said hugging the craftsman who reutrnd it
As it showed this reincarnation on frugson bed side as he breathed his last with the two looking incredible older. But soon after that another recianrion came that time that being a man with tan skin along with green eyes. As he had brown hair styled into a ponytail while wearing a pair of black leahter pants wtih a yellow long sleeve tunic. But he opened a small vault as he retrved long memroy smiling at it
Then it showed him years down the road wandering around in the woods with someone familiar to them. That being chiwa graves as the man was smiling at him as they apporahced a grand home that had oriental rooftops with a similar design to one person home. A certain cat faunus with silver eyes long ago.
As the two of them approahced the home their were several people inside the home at that moment. Which showed several of them seeming to be cat faunus laughing with others who were human. But what the faunus all shared was their silver eyes
Eventually soon enough a ball landed by this reincarnation ozco who looked up at someone. That being a young little girl with two cat ears atop her head ina cyan kimono with a set of big silver eyes
Ozco picked it up offering her it"here take it i'm sure you don't want to lose this?"he asked but the girl ran away hiding behind someone her father ahikito who looked at the two
"So…my friend this is the man your family spoke of?"ahikito aksed as the gravekeepr nodded
"Yes. i'm sure hes far familiar with the tale of your eyes. This is an old friend of my longest ancestor lucifer graves"chiwa said as the recianrtion offered a hand to the cat faunus shaking his hand
The scene changed showing the three of them slaugthering grimm and fighting any evils from long ago side by side seeming to be close with one another. But soon the scene changed as jinn spoke
"But over the years he experience many beneficial lives along with meeting very close allies. Some of their kin still roam today"jinn said as it showed something
That being a man who was known as ozric. A very large man with a very muscular appearance along with sporting a pair of brown trouser. Along with a white shirt that had the sleeves cut off showing his bulging muscles. But he also had tan skin that was light in color along with that he had a set of green eyes. Though his head was bald as he smiled walking down a dock
As he was on a sea shanty like town walking through the place looking at someone. At the end of the doc sat a women with a crew of sailors
That being a women in her mid thrites with a set of yellow piericng eyes. Along with having fair skin as she wore a simple pair of brown pants with a sialor shrit colored white and blue in strisp. But wore a sea captain coat colored bright yellow with a set of musical notes colored in black all over her back. As she wore some simple pirate boots colored brown
With a cutlass and flintlock on her hips as she noticed the man laughing
"Well aren't you a big fella. Are you here to sigh up with my crew?"She asked as ozric gave a loud laugh at that
"I'm not here to join your crew. Rumors have gone around the world on a women who was a fabled sailor. Along with being just as skilled as she is in fighting as she was in instruments"ozric asked as watching this was zephyra as the man spoke her name
"Isn't that right lupa crosby?"ozric added to her shock that he knew her leader oldest ancestor. Watching this was rogue who was shocked herself as lupa laughed offering a hand to him
"I sure am. It would be rude not to shake my hand"lupa said as he smiled at her taking his hand. But this was her trap as surprisingly she easily lifted the man above her shoulder tossing him on his back as a loud thud could be heard as ozeic went off
With the women sailors and her crew laughing and cheering for their captain. Then she walked over as he held his head offering a hand with a grin on her face
"You look strong big boy but not strong enough. Come with me and i'll show you what the seas have to offer"lupa said with a deal as the man stared at it for a moment as he took her hand shaking it with a determined look
As the scene shifted as jinn spoke as it reached to ozlo first interaction with will vincent. Showing the thief stealin his goods along with giving chase after him. After some time it showed the man why he was stealing from people to feed his family. But it showed them sealing a deal with each other on their new found partnership together
Then another showed his one of his few female lives as a faunus who met with ophelia that night. The two then talked about relic as it flashed to show the two fighting off treasure hoarders and bandits alike as oza was holding a scarf in her hands. Then it shifted again to her placing the scarf among several other artifacts she collected over the years
"Over all these lives he found himself in the shoes of several people. But in some cases for the love he lost long ago. He found that spark again"jinn said as it showed oza and opehlia both passtioantly holding each other in a kiss
Then the scene changed as jinn spoke yet again"but soon he wasn't alone in this long journey of his. "Jinn said
As it then had yang seeing someone that some didn't know but her name was soon said by the women. That being ember hayley long ago laughing and smiling with her husband along with her three kids. As the blonde went wide eyed at what played before her next
It showed kaiyang xiaolong killing her husband along with her two kids. As all that was left was her only daughter who cried for her mother. But along with him trapping her in the infernal guanelnt for the rest of her natural life. Then it showed her torhcing him until he screamed and begged for the sweet release of death.
Though it then showed her beginning to burn any grimm that came toward the crys of her daughter. But after some time soon enough orzo was approaching them as they had the same interaction. As the women just wept unable to hold her duaghter ever again
But it changed again to show ozro in the middle of watching over a five year old soelnza who had dirty blonde hair. As she wore a simple dress skirt with a orange tunic as she rushed over to the fire spirit who emerged out of her glove
"Momma look what i got today"solenza said innocently showing her a stitched up salamander doll as the fire sprit chuckled
"Thats nice sweetie…i hope you like it"ember said with no cheer in her tone as she simply staring on seeing her grow over the years. Until as the years passed it showed that solenza mature into a young women who wore a set of knightly armor with an older looking orzo. Who gifted her the old set of armor he wore as the girl had something on her hand. That being the infernal guanelnt long ago with an axe on her back
"So…you plan to fight for what is right? Funny how i have to see someone i raised like my own join me on this journey"ozro said softly
"Well you saved me and my mother that day. And she'll be by my side till the end of my life…i hope we can find a way to break her curse"solenza said as the three cotninued their journey over the years to rid the women of her curse just like ozma had placed upon him as jinn spoke again
"But with these allies came a tragic cost at times. With them either becoming targets or people he had to watch die"jinn said
The smoke shifted again to reveal ophelia their in the streets with her body beaten and battered beyond recognition. With several slash marks in her body as oza was kneeling over her corpse mourning for the loss of another love he cheirhsed long ago
As another showed will vincent being stabbed in the back by his own brother along with his wife joining him. Then it showed the two plegding their loyalty to their queen at that moment being salem. But then it shifted showing the brother of will vincent presenting a banner that stood tall. The banner of the unseen eye which was formed by naca vicnetns oldest ancestor as their family was split apart long ago into two.
Another showed lupa on her ship playing her piano right now as the mast of her mighty vessel was destroyed. Along with that smiling to herself seeming to be accepting her fate as soon enough a bolt of lighting struck her mighty vessel. As she soon joined it going down with her ship that day being buried at sea
Then it showed lastly ember hayley gauntlet just sitting in a small cave with several runes all over it. While the glove sat on a stone pedestal waiting for someone to come reclaim her to find a way to end her curse
"But over the years he managed to gain allies in his fight against the witch. Sometimes even long allies that became close friends"jinn said as the smoke showed something
That being a desolate battlefield right now with one of ozam reincarantions in a worn down set of armor. As they were barely hanging on right now struggling right now as this was ozair. The time he met someone that will become a long time friend
As he kept struggling to walk through the battlefield full of dead bodies and similir people in simliar armor layed still on the ground. With a few of them in similar armor helped their wounded comrades. But he was reaching the top of a hill before glancing down it as adam was their looking dow in shock
It showed a large horde of grimm fighting other people down below but they were all getting sluaghtered by them right now. As the curren reincarnation of ozma fell to his knees feeling like all the hopes he had was lost. Until suddenly a loud roar was heard throughout the battlefield right now
As right now high in the skies that casted a large shadow over the large horde of grimm. Their was something that was also in the distance as the sound of a horn could be heard signaling something. Ozair looked up reaching for their helmet revmoing it too reveal someone with tan skin and green eyes with shirt long hair that looked messy
Because on a distant hill right now their were about several horses with a large banner of a gravestone. As soon something smashed into the middle of the horde of grimm which created a large dust cloud that covered the entire area. It shot toward ozair who covered his eyes at that moment as it soon settled he saw something
That being a large dragon like beast that seemed to by its wing span was 60 meters in length. As its skin was pure white in color with black lines running all over it with four legs of a western dragon. Its wings membranes had black veins throughout them along with having long horns. As it had wyvern like skull with two piercing blue eyes
This caused the warriors with him to become in fear as the large dragon roared with caught the grimms attention it seems. As they all howled and roared all swarming onto the dragon right now as the riders on the opposite hill charged head first into the battle.
The dragon then began to roar back swiping and slicing through the hordes of grimm opening its massive jaw tearing through them like they were nothing. As it swings it large tail through the battlefield as it reeled it jaws back before its launched a spew of fire from its jaws killing and torhcing any girmm in its way
After some time the battle was soon over as ozair walked down the hill confused right now staring at what he was seeing. That being the same twenty knights all gathering aroun the dragon as on his side he had maybe well over three hundred with some alive and others not.
But some knights approached the dragon with spears and bow ready to fire at it
"Kill the beast before it comes for us next!"a knight shouted
"Why is this foul demon here!"another added but ozair stopped them putting a hand up telling them to stop as he held his side stepping forward
"Hold men…you people how…how are you controlling such a beat. This…grimm made of pure white"ozair asked as the dragon make a cracking sound before laughing at them right now
"I am not one of those things. My kin aren't exactly controlling me since this is my gift"the dragon spoke which caught him offguard and the other knight
"When the creature spoke to him he just had one question"jinn said as oscar appeared
"Are you god?"oscar said micking ozair words. The dragon laughed a little at that right now before suddenly it turned into a pile of dust. As the dust soon cleared stepping out of it was a man in a grand suit of armor. It was white in color completely as he seemed to be around 5'11 in height. Along with that he had a helmet resembling the same dragon head the other creature had. But he placed his hand on his helmet removing it
Which reveal his face that being a man with fair skin and jet black hair that was tied into a warrior wolf tail. But his eyes were a deep shade of blue. Ozair looked stunned
"Your….your a man?"ozair asked
The man chuckled at that"why of course i am. I mean everyone in our world is gifted with unique powers…for mine i share it with my kin. As for me well i get an interesting one letting me turn into a giant beast"he said as the two stared at each other before ozair offered a hand to him
"My name is ozair…i..i think you and your kin may prove useful against these beast. Will you help me slay them…"ozair was asking his name as the man shook his hand
"Maybe i shall because my name is lucifer graves pleasure to make your acquitance"the man who was known as lucifer graves introduced himself. Then the smoke change the scene showing ozair explaining to the man who salem was making him and a few others with him wide eyed upon hearing of her
"Over the years he gained many allies. But sometimes his allies may suffer being associated with him. Since this praticualry allie that you asked why his current kin despise him. At first lucifer gained the trust of salem for a long time"jinn said
It then show the smoke with lucifer meeting with salem right now offering her a hand as the women took his nodding. But then it even showed the man charming her enough into her arms showing the two kissing even.
"Even the man was cunning enough to bed her and try to stab her in the heart. Narrowly escaping that day she lived that day like any other. Luckily his kin continued with his gift passing on over the years"jinn said
As it showed several different eras of people with a man in a set of knight armor boring similarities to lucifer with slight alterations. But it kept showing them becoming more modern over the time along with a few women in the mix as well. Although it showed one thing they did everytime.
That was showing them fighting through hordes of grimm slaying them like it was nothing to them. As they kept fighting through hoardes and hoardes of them. But soon enough it stopped on one of them that being chiwa who stood their in his old armor with ahiktio by his side.
"But soon enough that witch that tricked was tricked by lucifer like she was by ozma. Decided to toy with his ancestor with his gift"jinn said
Because the smoke then changed as yang found herself in a forested area at that moment. But then saw a familiar ghost white women throwing a beaten and battered chiwa on the ground stripped of his armor as he coughed on the gorund laughing
"What is it witch? Too…too scared to kill me? Because…my great…great…great grandfather…almost killed you. Scared of us are yah?"chiwa mockingly asked as the witch stared at him then she waived her hands around as grimm arms emerged underneath him holding him in a kneeling postion with his arms spread
Salem laughed stepping forward"no…because you are still allies with ozma even after everything. I shall break his bond with your kin…you'll do for it"She said then placed her palm on his head as she then pulled a bottle containing black liquid in it
As she forced it into his mouth making him drink it as he went wide in fear. Next she had a strange glyph appear on her hand burning it into his head. Then suddenly the man wretched back onto the ground crying out in complete pain as his body started to contort and crack
