Chapter 58:Rainbow Family part 2
Inside the living room right now some of the adults in the arc household right now where talking amongst themselves. But right now as they were revealing herself in her grimm form was dawn who cooed wriggling around. Although tina seemed interested in the grimm pet holding it in her hands feeling the slimy skin.
"Is this a new type of grimm?"tina asked curiously
"Uhhh what is this thing exactly? It looks like a ball of snot"saphron said poking at the jelly like grimm that wriggled around from the poke. Then she broke free before retreating her owner feet whining and cooing in fear by the tiger feet
Nadia chuckled reaching down petting the small creature on its head to calm her down.
"Calm down girl. Shes not going to hurt anyone and she is a new type. My kid can apparently control it or whatever. A professor we knew dubbed her as a mimic because well…"she paused for a moment
Then dawn shifted her form around to something surprising that being a large tiger that had a black coat with white strips. The tiger roared queitly but it sat on its hind legs before beginning to lick itself clean right now. Saphrons eyes widden seeing that

"Whoa whats this part of the house it looks like a museum"Velvet said in amazement.
"I know right because i never expected your family to have their own museum. Kinda of a narcastici if you think about it"rogue replied

Though our great grandpa that being grandma iris dad had a sword that been in our family for years. The one my little brother is carrying around"she said making their eyes on his sword
"Dude your sword is like a cheirhs artifact in your family….too bad you pick your nose with it"yang joked making the twins snicker as he looked at her annoyed
"Hey i don't every do that with my sword….okay maybe one time out of boredom"jaune replied embarrassed to their amusement though nora zipped around the place in awe for a moment amazed to meet more of her leader family.
Though as she zipped around she pased by rogue and velvet who was with lone as they staring at the suit of armor on display.
"Heyya guys why you staring at this dusty old armor over here?"she questioned
"Looks pretty dusty in my opinion"slater commented
"Oh well because i kinda noticed something on this suit of armor. Jaune your symbol on the front chest piece and the shield right here"the rabbit pointed out which got some attention as they joined them as jaune was surprised a little because hes always lived here for his entire life. But he never actually noticed that.
"Right you are kid. Because dad mention how back then our longest living ancestor which would be gosh what was their name again'poppy said confused
Although isis used her cane as she walked laughing at her eldest grandaughter"his name would be joan arc. A nobleman who would lay down his sword to protect those from terrible grimm. Though we have a old present from one of his closest friends he knew when he was just a wee child."she said catching their attention
"Really? Well is it a helmet maybe jauney boy could rock a rusty knight look."cardin joked
"I can kinda seee it. Maybe even that fairy tail or whatever that people tell their kids"mercury replied
"Oh you mean the girl who fell through the world. Mother would read us that everynight before we went to sleep"indie replied
"Jaune always fnatasied bout being the rusted knight when he heard it. Even played pretend"Azure said to embarrass her brother.
"Stop embarrassing me infront of my friends sis!"he shouted as she stuck her tongue out at him as the two began to smack their hands at each other to their amusement.
Although with isis walked over to a case unlocking it reaching inside carefully then she walked back with something. That being a skull from the look of it as it seemed to resemble a lion head from the look of it with large fangs inside its skull. Which confused them right now.
"Why do you have a random skull? Who just gifts someone a dead cat skulls"orchie questioned weirded out now.
"Don't know grandma always been vague on it at times. Since most of the older people in our family refuse to elaborate why we even have that here"lone added though the older women did something unexpected. She pulled a switchblade before slicing zane hand which drew blood as he went wide eyed.
"Gah! Your grandma trying to kill me shes got a knife!"he shriekd as before they knew it she forced his hand onto the skull. Then suddenly the eyes glowed a bright tan color as they were coated in a bright light. As they adjusted their vision they looked shocked right now.
Because right now emerging from the skull was a tan hazy like figure in a grand suit of armor. As the pauldrons on their shoulder were emblazoned with lionhead with a pair of guanlent that had fur on them. Their was a long cape on that back that reached the with that wearing a grand helmet that resemble a lion as a set of glowing blue eyes peeked out from behind them.
As they held a large double sided axe in hand with the blade facing the ground. This startled them as the twins shriekd at the top of their lungs holding each other. Lone screamed at the top of her lungs. As orchie groaned before falling backward passing out as slater did a cross over his chest. With indie glasses falling off in shock. Then someone came rushing in with the door being thrown open.
"Whats going on in here is everyone alright!?"jean asked worried right now with a sword in hand. As next to him was nadia with her revolver out along with jamal their with a pistol drawn. But they all stared at the current situation seeing a ghost here
"Mom…mind explaining to me whats going on right now?"jean asked keeping his sword close
'Dad….dad theirs a weird ghost that came from the weird skull grandma and grandpa had displayed here"alice said
"Yeah and she forced that weird guy are brother friends with by cutting his hand. Then he touched it then that happened"azure added
"This makes no sense…this has to be an illusion. No such thing like this exist"indie said as she placed a hand near the ghost as he scoffed at her.
"I have a name you brats. That being brutas graves…seems that joan did keep my dumb skull around after all these years"the ghost said giving a name making them process this before relaziing something
"Wait…i…jaune wouldn't that mean you two….families know each other?"velvet aksed as isis laughed slightly wobbling foward
"Oh this boy would be desdemona family. Her and ours go way back in the day. Seems this child is one of yours…along with sharing that women gift you have"she said as the ghost stared at zane for a moment
"What?"slater asked if he was going crazy
"So…you are my current replacement. Interesting well lets get this over with i'll show you some of my tricks. Might as well get it over with before you ask any questions"brutas said as before they even spoke another blinding light happened. As they soon experienced a vision.
Vision
They were all soon transported to a grand landscape right now though the ground was covered in snow. As right now it was snowing in the middle of a field right now as littering said field where spears, swords, arrows along with several dead boides adorned in knight armor. Though right now on a nearby hill stood a certain group.
That being about thirty horses right now but with two more leading the charge. With the first being this so called brutas who was adorned in the armor his ghostly appearance had but it was colored in a tanner color. As the lions head where silver in color with his helmet off. Which revealed a fair skin man with deep blue eyes and long black hair. But one person was by his side
That being a man who seemed to be in his late twenties with golden yellow hair styled like a wolf tail. As he had a set of deep blue eyes with a scar across his cheek. But he wore a grand piece of armor that covered his entire body. On his side was a knight helmet as the entire set was silver in color with gold lining the joints and edges of it.
As strapped to his back was a shield displaying a crescent moon with a oddly familiar sword strapped to his hip. Then the two spoke
"So old friend you asked for me and my men assistance on dealing with some troublesome grimm in the area"brutas asked like a gentlemen
The other knight laughed"call me joan old friend. We've known each long enough to drop these formaltiaites. I asked for your help since your family is an expert. Our livestock has been slain with our farmers reporting a horde of demons on the horizon"he said
"That seems fair though….seems these demons are marching on us"brutas replied as their horse stopped as their rider settled them. As down below them was a hoard of grimm that range from beowulf to uras, reapers and several grimm native to mistral. Joan took the charge as he control his horse by its reigns facing the others.
"Be ready men! Because today we rid of these demons that have plague our town for years! For mistral!"he shouted rallying the others who cheered raising their weapons before he steered his horse leading the charge down below toward their enemy. As several grimm roared and snarled rushing toward their prey as joan raised his sword easily chopping off a grimm down dead.
As several of the horses and their rider moved in as on the hill nearby people with bows rained down arrows on the beast. Though joan kept slashing and slicing his way with his sword as soon enough his horse was attack. As a repear screched slashing at his horse as it cried in pain falling down. But in time he lunged off recovering as he drew his shield at the ready.
The knight stared down the beast as it raised it long blade slashing at him but he pushed back. As he raised his sword slashing at its leg causing it to screech from the pain slashing at him again from behind. But instead of him brutus stepped in as a bright brown organic material covered his body.
The man had a msucualr build as he had a lion like helmet on his head with blue eyes glowing behind them. Along with that his arm was a long axe blade as he raised it chopping off the beast arm as it screeched in joan jumped on his back leaping up delivering the killing blow to the beast. It disppaeared into dust as the two of them got back to back as he molted away the armor.
"So seems we might have gotten in over our heads aye old friend"brutus asked
"We might have…alas you may need to pull that trick up your sleeve right now. You can handle it correct?"joan asked as the man nodded
Then the man exhaled before he grunted in pain as his body started to crack as he knelt on a knew pounding the ground creating a crater in the ground. As he grew in size his limps started to change as he let out a lion roar that echoed through the battlefield. Because now standing their in the middle of the battlefield was a beast. That being a lion like creature with tan skin and a brown mane. With large cat like paws as it had set of wings on its back as it had a mask that seemed to resemble a manticore mask that was bone white.
The creature roared before hoping on its back was joan as the two of them charged head first into the horde of grimm slaughtering them down.
Vision end
As it settled all of them stood their dazed for a moment but eventually snapped out of it as some of them where silent. But nora broke it loud like always.
"You two guys family knew each other!?"nora asked excited gesutring to the two. As both zane and jaune stared at each other laughing like they were crazy right now.
"Oh my god….someone punch me because since i woke up from a coma i think i'm going crazy"zane said
Brutus huffed with a laugh"you know…contact me later for that advice. Because i rather not be bombarded with several questions"he said as the skulls eyes died down as the arc siblings stood their froozen. Until they spoke up
"Dad….are we going crazy did grandma spike our drinks"lone asked
"Uhh i saw something that showed several people in knight armor. God…i can't even explain this"indie said not able to use her seincest to explain this
"Heres a simple explantion you two family knew each other. Which is pretty neat"cardin said as they had some question along with announcing something to the group. That jaune family is friends with the gravekeepers.
With that we saw something interesting that being zane and jaune family knew each other in the past. Along with that onxyia starting to see things it seems. While we also learned that may needs to head to atlas to fix her eye.
