Chapter 60:The Hunter
Back inside the apartment pyrrha was staying at right now. The grimm girl was holding her side still in pain a little from what leah did. Though visiting now were some guest which surprised her right now. As over right now was diaz who kept checking over his daughter wth an anger look on his face
"That little mother…i swear to god if i get my hands on her shes dead!"diaz shouted in anger as holly was their with her mother who came to check on things
"Diaz…if you do that you'll be a bad role model for your little girl"aera said before pausing with a disgusted look
"But if that happened to my little girls i'd snap that little brats arm"she added hugging holly who blushed from that being near her bust
"Mom…come on don't embarrassed me"holly whined
"But thats what mother do….though dear are you sure your okay. That weapon of her was laced in anti aura metal"carmine asked
Pyrrha looked at her side that was bandaged now early but she sighed shaking her head
"No it doens't hurt…i've been in far more worse situation than that. Just caught me offguard is all"pyrrha replied sheepishly

Then she placed one of her needle at his throat but he wasn't phazed by it as will looked stunned right now
"So…when did the little dog find out. Because tal now before i slit your throat open infront of that girl you fancy"pana asked as the wolf chuckled slightly

Elsewhere in another part of mantle right now more specfically where willow was. As the women had to wear a very large cloak to hide her identity from the public without being seen by them. With her was vermillion along with pyke who had something on him
As his entire right hand was his prothsetic that seemed to be a large drill like hand. This was his main weapon as a huntsman, and the reason why his arm was so big. But they where walking through the streets talking amongest each other on their game plan to talk to johanna

This did make williow smile for a moment hearing that she was proud of all her children right now. Though she hopes that everything will go well with johanna when she has to tell her the reason why she keeps asking for her to come with her.
After maybe ten minutes they soon arrived to the place where the women lived. That being a simple two story house like the rest of mantle. It was made of brick and from the look of it as it had a mailbox out front saying it was the women home. But their were two others infront of her one
One was a man and the other a women as the man was about maybe mid twneites with black hair. As he had fair skin with him having maroon colored eyes. While he simply wore some black jenas with a dark grey ahteltic shirt underneath a maroon jacket. But for some reason he was holding raspberries in his hand
While the women was mid twneties as well with fuchsia colored hair that was long reaching the middle of her back. She had slightly tan skin with her eyes being charcoal black. Along with that she wore a pair of brown combat pant along with wearing a lime green t-shirt underneath a dark grey trench coat jacket that had a pink interior to it.
But they both noticed them approaching waving them down"yo boss their you are thought you'd be late"the man said
"Yeah razza here keeps annoying the hell out of me here"the women said as the man known as razza stared her down
"Shut up fuschia you wanted try and get answer to make the boss happy"razza said to fuchsia who growled at him
"No i didn't you limp dick jerk"fuchsia countered as he growled at her
"Ohh yeah miss i can't handle her liqour who loves to get wasted them bone any guy"razza said
As immediately the two of them despite being grown adult began to slap at each other several times like childnre. They watched this was williow wonder what type of gang would have these two idiots in it.
"These are your….employee?"williow questioned
Vermillion sighed nodding walking over pulling the two apart mid fight as he glared at them for pulling this stunt right now
"Can it you two nimrods! Because right now we need to conduct business here and i need someone keeping an eye out for anyone. You two stay out here and watch out for anything suspicious"vermillion said

At first he didn't get an answer until someone spoke up on the other side of the door

"Ohhh greenleaf you gonna shot an old criminal friend. Its raddock!"vermillion said back as it was silent for a moment. Till the door was heard being unlocked as it was open to reveal johanna their who sighed in relief
"Thank god its just you verm…and oh its your rite"johanna said as pyke waved to her

"My daughter got hurt because she got dragged to that stupid demo sight. Those military grunts didn't think to check for a nest of husk underground. Now my daughter is hurt"johanna said as willow stepped forward

This caught them offguard but they followed her inside as she shut the door. Once inside they were met by a simple little living room set up. Their was a couch along with a few leather chair that looked a little comfortable. Along with a medium szie tv with some movie cases on the mantle seeming to be used alot as of late
A small kitchen could be seen on the other side of the home as their were stairs on the right side leading up. Though once inside willow looked upstairs for amoment
"So what do you want because i'm a very busy women tonight"johanna said as the white hair women pulled her hood back looking upstairs
"We can talk after one thing…caine mentioned how your daughter got hurt. Did you get her wounds treated properly?"williow asked making her have anger start to boil
"Do you take me for an idiot or something? Because i know how to treat wounds…shes fine"johnna ansnwered but hesitated on the word fine which made her supion drawn
Immediately willow walked upstairs to the second level to their surprise as johanna growled that she was pulling this. Once willow was upstairs she looked around for any sigh of her then saw a room with yuri name on it
Once she got their johanna was jogging after her as he footsteps pounded on the floorboards of the home that she pulling this
"I said you have five minutes…now you have ten seconds to get the hell out of my house."johanna growled but willow didn't pay her mind
The women opened the room that yuri was in as it revealed a simply two person bed in the room. Their was also a small makeup stand but instead of makeup it was covered by several medical books and medical equipment. Their were even posters that showed atlas combat medics treating someone encouraging those to enlist. While their was some on robyn homeless shelter
But inside a bed right now was yuri who asleep right now but whimpering in her sleep right now. While she was placed in icy blue tanktop as her shoulder we banaged stained in blood. This concerned her as she walked over but johanna grabbed her by the arm
"I said leave…now"johanna said trying not to shout to wake her but willow threw her hand off
"Did you even change her bandages?"williow asked making her stunned for a moment
"Of course i did i…"She was stopped
"No you haven't. I'm a doctor and you seem to have been crying for the past few hours after what happened. Along with that caine told me she possible got a head injury did you even get her check on."williow said before staring at her
"Or did you take her home worried what my staff their will do"she added
The women stood their frozen for a moment looking away from her right now staying silent. As vermillion walked into the room placing a hand on johanna shoulder
"Greenleaf let her treat her alright…then we need to talk about something really important"vermillion said. The women tried to argue but heard her adoptive daughter whimpering in pain in her sleep
Seeing that she was in pain the women grunted with approval. Willow quickly grabbed the nearby medkit in the room with medical suppiles all over it. But she quickly grabbed some scissors and iodine with some new bandages. Quickly she used the scissor sto cut off her old bandages showing the wound starting to slightly scab but was bleeding still
Using a nearby rag she dumped the bottle of idioine into it then titled it back. She then gently pressed it against the faunus skin as she winced in her sleep. Willow removed it quickly placing it to the side as the wound was classifying now. Then she rolled out a new set of gauze over her wound to wrap it up
Lastly she grabbed a small bottle of medicine but checked the back of yuri head. Feeling around she felt a small bump meaning she might have gotten a concussion. Gently lifting the faunus head head she poured some of the medicine into a cup. Then she fed her it as yuri swallowed it as willow set her down
"Their i'm done…she'll be stable but tomorrow i may need to check her for a concussion"williow said as johanna scoffed
"Thanks…now lets get this over with"johanna demanded
Quickly they returned downstairs but closed yuri door to let her sleep. Once they where downstairs they sat in their respective seats becoming quiet right now. Their host didn't even offer them a nice cup of tea or a drink.
"Okay schnee spill it….you here to try and convince my daughter to go to one of your stupid hospital. I've told you that she;ll never work their"johanna stated firmly again
Willow sighed messing with her sleeve for a moment"That not why i'm here…i…i…their another reason why i've been trying to get her to my hospitals"she said confusing the women for a moment as vermillion cleared his throat
"Greenleaf…this may come to a shock on what she has to say okay."vermillion warned as willow mustered up the courage best she could to say it
"I..i..when kelin and me visited the shelter for the first time. Along with treating yuri fever he…he did a blood test and…"her lips quivered as she didn't want to utter the words but she wanted to make her understand why

This came to their shock that she knew the entire time and that yuri doesn't even know who her parents truly are. While willow sat their confused as tears slowly ran down her face as johanna was starting to have a revelation
"Schnee…i…that video on the broadcast that was shown. Don't tell me its real"johanna asked but the women stared at her as choked on a sob before burying her face into her hands crying right now. Hesitantly johanna walked over placing a hand on the women back to console her
"I..i…that man…he…he ruined my family legacy. All hes done is use it for his one personal benefits. We…we been divorced for ten years even"williow siad to their surprise that they were already divorce

It was silence for a moment while willow tears passed. They waited for her to just kick her out but johanna asked one simply question

That being a rapier gunblade with eight cylinder shots on it already loaded with dust rounds. She wasn't just some simple little rich girl her father did teach her how to fight.
"Who the hell are you?"Vermillion question as the hunter sniffed the room like he was tracking something. Then he looked up to the next floor where yuri was
"I have come for my prey…step aside or your'll pay with your lives"kraven said drawing both his tanto machete pointing it at them but johanna growled at him
"Your not laying a hand on her…get out of my house!"johanna said rushing over throwing a punch at him but he easily dodged it. Then he kneed her in the stomach making the large women fall to her knees. But willow quickly summoned a black glpyh pointing it straight at him
Before the man knew he was launched right back out of the house. As kraven picked himself up slowly the three caem rushing out as willow threw her hood back up to hide her identity. The people of mantle started to run to avoid the fighting. But vermillion started to swing his mace around in a circle
Then he release it letting it go as the chain ball went straight for the bounty hunter. Though krave soon activated his semblance. Suddenly he was coated in a purple aura as soon a aura shrouded him similar to a cheetah it seems. Then in an instant the man dodged it at blinding speeds as vermillion mace hit nothing
"What the…"vermillion paused before kraven dashed forward spin kicking the man a few feet away. While he picked himself up the hunter scoffed
"This is my semblance…i have the animal kingdom by my side. I am the true hunter of the jungle"kraven said but was met by skeptism
"Then you need to be hunted"pyke said chagrin up his drill arm as it began to spin to life. Then the man lunged forward with his drill as dust ignited in it proepelling himself forward as he went straight for kraven. He noticed this activating his smeblnace again as this time a turtle shell appeared on him. Then his right arm had a purple aura turtle shell like shield their
Once pyke impacted with it kraven blocked the attack witht he shell as he stared him down. The hunter then shoved him back causing him to stumble as he raised a machete slashing at his aura a few times to knock it down. Then pyke needed to rethink this idea of charging at him head on
Immediately kraven sweeped his legs out from underneath him as pyke landed hard on his back groaning. Kraven tiwlred his machetes ready to stab him but a gunshot rang out as a fireball was launched into him
The man was launched back as he skitted to a stop as he looked up seeing her pointing her gunblade at him. Then he glanced at vermillion ready with his mace at the ready as for some reason the man scoffed seeing her here
"I rather not have my hunt intertuped….i will be back for the girl another time"kraven said before raising his wrist into the air. Before they could react he shot off a hook shot as he began to swing off away from them. They all watched him swing from building to building expertly like he was some animal
They watched this happen as johanna came out panting rubbing her side.
"Okay…did you all get him or not?"She asked
"No he just ran away….that was a short fight. Also that guy was weird"pyke replied. But willow stared at the man run away as she felt like shes seen him before but shook her head staring at johanna
"I think i know who hired him and who his target was. Jacque is trying to silence any witness…i suggest we talk about this tomorrow on getting her protection. Okay'williow said as the women thought about it before surprisingly nodding in agreement with her
As the night went on soon enough in a certain room on the academy. Their in her own room now was penny who was up late awake in her charing port. The metal girl sat their by herself thinking about things until she called out to someone right now
"Who are you and why do you keep talking to me?"penny asked but no one was their till the text box showed up again.
"I don't know who i am. I am the chip thats inside your head"the text read surprising her thinking about what this might be
"Your an AI….wait does that mean you've evolved to gain a conscious?"penny asked as the text displayed three dots then spoke again
"I think so….though i can't exactly describe it. But it seems we are one now…though you are penny polidina. I had to pretend to be you for the last decade"the text read which made her go wide eyed. What does it mean it pretended to be her
"What do you mean by pretending to be me?"penny asked as the text stayed slightly for a moment
"I think I was programed to run your prosthetic and other systems inside your body. But as a result it caused you to be put into an amensiaic state or a coma in a way."the text read
This seemed to shatter penny whole world right now as she sat their on her charging port waiting for it to speak again. Until it popped up again
"Are you okay?"the text read as penny looked down sighing
"I think so…this is alot to take in but what do i call you do you have a name?"penny aksed but got another text
"I do not have a name except for my serial number."the text read which surprised her at first. Then the bot decided to think of a name that would be perfect for the voice in her head
"I think i'll call you pina….since you would be a girl since your in my head"penny said as the text soon displayed a happy face liking the sound of that name. As penny seemed to gain a friend in this AI chip in her head
Seems that penny named that little voice in her head. Along with that kraven is on the prowl trying to take yuri. With pyrrha learning a bit more about her friend and marrow deiscovering who pana really is. Thanks for reading
