Mommy and us
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma confronting her mom about Ella calling her a first time mother at the baby and me class. So Snow decides to bring Emma to the next class as her "baby" and embarrasses her slightly, but at the same time showing that she loves them both equally.
People who asked for a sequel to Ch909: Sorry, but I don't think there's much more to add there.
Lilly: I'm afraid this request has already been covered.
"Emma, could you please heat Neal's bottle up in the microwave for me?" Snow asked, bouncing the crying baby up and down.
"Certainly, can't be easy being a first time mother." Emma said coolly. Snow sighed, she clearly wasn't over what Ella said despite claiming she was. She'd been having little digs like that for a couple of days now and Snow was beyond sick of it. She hadn't claimed she was a first time mother! But if Emma was going to be petulant about it, Snow would give her a bit of a lesson. At the end of the day she sent Ella a quick text (Aurora wasn't quite ready for a mobile phone). She was quite looking forward to the next class on Wednesday.
When Wednesday came, Emma was just getting ready to go to the station when Snow took her car keys off her.
"You're not going to the station today." Snow told her. "You're coming with me to Neal's class." Emma raised an eyebrow.
"Why would that be?" She asked.
"You'll see when we get there, come on." Snow took Emma's hand and pulled her to her feet, Neal in his car seat already slung over Snow's other arm. Intrigued, Emma followed along with her mom without complaint.
When they arrived at the class, Snow had Emma sit on the mat beside her and Neal. Emma was really confused, did her mom think she was pregnant or something?
"Welcome back mommies!" Ella greeted the group cheerily. "Before we begin with our usual routine: does anyone have any questions?"
"Yes, I have a question." Snow said, raising her hand. Ella looked over at Snow and something about her smile made Emma feel uneasy. "What do you do when your baby gets jealous of your new baby?" Emma's head whipped round to look at her mom. What was she doing?!
"Good question Snow, I would recommend some more bonding time with baby number one, perhaps some time with both siblings together to allow them to form a relationship."
"So you're saying I should spend some more one on one time with Emma, and then maybe work it up to spending time with Emma and Neal together?" Snow clarified. Emma's eyes narrowed, this was a set up.
"Exactly. Just simple things, no need to be extravagant. She's just not used to sharing her mommy's attention."
"Great, thanks Ella. I'll try that out and let you know how I get on." Ella nodded and winked at Snow before beginning the class properly. Emma said grumpily throughout the whole thing. The point was definitely taken.
