The new Dark One

A guest and Snoopykid asked for a oneshot of the whole gang seeing Emma *season 5 possible spoilers* on the countertops like she is in the promo pics trying to talk her down before she hurts someone. Just to explain, I say I won't write anymore of a specific topic because often when I write one on a specific topic, I get a massive influx for more on it, and they're often incredibly similar. This can be quite draining creatively so I tend to ban them after a while for both mine and you, the readers', benefit. I did say I wouldn't write anymore Dark Swan stuff, but then Comic Con happened and new material was released. This allowed for slightly different requests, but it's likely requests based on this new material will too become worn out :P

The gang started in complete shock at the Emma before them. In such a short separation, such great changes had occurred. Black smoke billowed out from behind her as she glided along the countertops eerily, the dagger clutched tightly in one hand. She stopped, having noticed the small gathering of people gaping at her. Her now white-blond hair was scraped behind her in a tight bun. She was wearing an all-black leather outfit complete with near thigh-high stiletto platform boots. Now that she was facing them under the lights the paleness of her skin was clear and it contrasted so starkly with the redness of her lips.

"Well," She said, in a voice that made the hairs on all their necks stand up. "Whose heart to crush first?"

"You don't want to do this, Em-" But Robin never got to finish his sentence, for Emma had shut his mouth with her magic.

"I see we have a volunteer. Good, I never liked you anyway."

"No!" Regina protested, leaping in front of Robin. "Emma, you are no killer. This darkness is still reversible. The second you kill that hope goes away." Emma hopped off of the counter and walked over until she was practically touching noses with Regina.

"Would you give a rat's ass if I threatened to crush the hearts of Hook, or either of my parents? Or was it just because it was your stupid thief?" Emma snarled. Regina didn't reply, aware how easy it would be for Emma to kill either her or Robin in this position. Emma smirked. "That's what I thought."

"But she's right about the darkness, Emma." Her dad pointed out. "We're so close to finding an entrance to Camelot. Don't believe us? Then come with us? Come find Merlin yourself and have him take this darkness from you. If not for us, then for Henry. I know even with all that darkness inside you that you love your son." Emma's cold eyes shifted to Henry, who squirmed under the harsh gaze. Emma tried to deny it to herself, but he was right.

"Fine." She snapped, releasing her hold on Robin's mouth. "I will join you, but not for the boy, so I can snap Merlin's neck myself. Let me know when you have found a portal. Do not disturb me until then." Emma warned, storming out of the diner. The group didn't say a word, they just watched this new version of Emma walk away.
