Conception
A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing having conception troubles. So I'm going to put a trigger warning here in case anyone is going through the same thing.

P.S well done to everyone who worked out that "Gone" was based on Neville Longbottom's parents Frank and Alice from Harry Potter. I should have mentioned that it was part of the request haha.
Every month. Every month Snow would get her hopes up only to have them dashed as though Mother Nature herself was laughing at them. They were trying so hard to conceive, wanting desperately to start a family together, but it seemed impossible. Snow would ignore the signs that her monthly cycle was coming up. She would put the salty cravings and cramps down to the hopeful baby in her womb. But there could be no denying that they had once again failed to conceive when the blood came. Then together and she Charming would break down in bitter tears of anguish and frustration. At first she thought that perhaps the water from Lake Nostos had not cured her from George's curse of infertility after all. That maybe she was barren. But when Snow thought like that she remembered that the ring had swung. Someday she was going to have a little girl and she knew that the only person she would ever have a child with was Charming. So Snow would remind Charming of the ring at their deepest moments of despair- that at some point there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
Neither of them expecting that light to be shone on them by Maleficent. When she told them that they were expecting at first they thought it was a cruel trick, but afterwards little things began to click with Snow. Maleficent was not lying- they were going to have a child. Their prayers had been answered, they could start a family.
