Poison ivy

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma getting stung on her-ahem- "hoo-ha" by poison ivy whilst in Neverland and Snow confronts her when she notices she's walking funny.

Emma did her best to hide it from the whole group. She could just imagine the sheer delight on Regina's face when she found out her stupid Emma had been…and the way her dad would end up punching Hook in the face when he offered to check the injury for her. No, instead Emma trailed behind the rest of the group, claiming using her magic had worn her out. That way she was free to walk like a cowboy (well, cowgirl) without anyone noticing. That was the plan, anyway, but of course Snow didn't believe her daughter's excuse and snuck a few glances back to check on her and noticed how she was walking. She quietly told the rest of the group to walk on ahead so she could check Emma hadn't "overdone it with her magic". They obliged, leaving Snow alone with Emma.

"I'll cut to the chase." Snow said. "What have you hurt and how?"

"Nothing." Emma grunted, now being forced to walk normally so her mom wouldn't notice. Snow raised an eyebrow.

"That is not how you were walking a moment ago. Drop the act and just tell me. The quicker we sort it, the quicker we get to Henry. Don't give me the 'it'll be even quicker if we leave it, it's fine' act. The quicker you tell me, the easier it is for everyone."

"Alright, alright." Emma grumbled, frustrated that her mom wouldn't drop it. "I had to take a wiz so I went into the bushes. Apparently those bushes had poison ivy…but I didn't know until after I squatted." Snow bit her lip to stop herself from laughing.

"Just forget I told you anything." Emma snapped, going to march on ahead, but Snow grabbed her hand.

"Don't, I'll behave, honest." Snow promised. "Now, where were the bushes? Wherever there's poison ivy, dock leaves are nearby." Emma pointed to the leaves, not wanting to move any more than she had to. Snow walked over and straight away found the dock leaves. She picked a few and brought them back over to Emma. "Here, stick these in your pants. It'll help draw out the sting. From now on look for these before you go to pee anymore, it'll stop you getting stung again. Join us when you're done." Snow said.

"Yeah, yeah." Emma mumbled, taking the leaves as Snow went back to join the rest of the group to give Emma some privacy. She would be lying if she said she didn't have a little chuckle on her way there.
