Such basic things
A guest asked for a oneshot of Neal stealing something at aged fourteen. Sneezy (interesting character choice) and Snow speak before Snow then talks to Neal. She finds out that it wasn't Neal, but a poor classmate of his and he felt he'd be in less trouble if he took the wrap.
Guest who asked for a sequel to Ch927: I'm afraid I don't think there'd be much of a story there.
Guest who asked for a sequel to Ch921: Sorry, but I quite like the way that one ended.
Guest who asked for Snowing having to give Emma a bath: I'm afraid that has been too closely covered.
Neal sat solemnly on the chair just outside the dressing room as his mom spoke to Sneezy. He heaved a great sigh and shoved his hands in his hoodie pockets, looking down at his shoes.
"I'm telling you Snow, he didn't do it." Sneezy insisted. "I don't care what the manager here is telling you, it wasn't your Neal. It was some other kid. The boy looked about the same age as Neal, but he was definitely a different boy. They both happened to be leaving the store together when the alarms went off, obviously because of the stolen high tops. My pharmacy is right across from here and I looked up when the alarms started going off. The other boy looked ready to bolt, when your Neal grabbed the shoes from him and took the wrap. I don't know why, I just know that's what happened. I did explain this all to the manager before you came but he insisted on calling you here and said I was lying to cover for Neal since I'm your friend. I swear to you Snow, I'm not lying and I know what I saw."
"Thank you, Sneezy." Snow said, shaking her old friend's hand. Sneezy nodded and went back to the pharmacy, at least knowing that Snow was aware of the truth. Snow then spoke to the manager who was prepared to let Neal off with a warning providing he never step foot inside the store again. Snow promised that he wouldn't and then took Neal out to the car.
Neal braced himself for the mother of all lectures and punishments yet to come. But instead he got:
"I know you didn't take those shoes." Neal looked up and saw his mom's reflection staring at him from the rear view mirror. "That's what Sneezy was talking to me about. He said you took the fall for another boy. Explain." Neal knew he wasn't being given a choice in the matter.
"His name is Brendan Tova. He's a kid from my school. Everyone knows his parents don't want to know. They're total losers who spend most of their day and night drinking. Brendan doesn't get food half the time from them let alone clean, proper fitting clothes. The last thing he needed would be to end up in juvie. I just wanted to help him out."
"Well I'm proud of you for trying to help out a child with less than you Neal, but maybe pretending to steal for him wasn't the right way to go about it. Now wait right here." Snow suddenly got out the car leaving Neal to wonder what she was up to. When Snow eventually returned, she placed bags in the back of the car beside Neal filled with clothes. "Now where does this Brendan live?" Neal smiled before giving his mom directions. This was going to make his day.
