Unknown emotion

A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma crying and not even she understanding why. Snow even though she is worried comforts her baby girl.

Oh blimey! A lot of notes today!

Guest who asked for MM adopting Henry: I've wrote a wee memo before about only writing oneshots from now on where the actual parents raise the Charming children :).

Guest with the biscuit thing: Yes, maybe. Or maybe just I said it because it made me laugh as for a moment I was wondering why cookie dough would be left in a fridge overnight. Stop being a bint for no reason ay? (this is for the first person who commented on the dough thing, not the lovely second person. Our cookies usually have chocolate chips too, but not biscuits haha. But yes, your biscuits are scones. And your scones are just weird to us! :P )

Guest who asked for Neal getting scared during a thunderstorm, guest who asked for adult Emma wetting the bed, guest who asked for a sequel to Ch943 and BoredBrad and guest who asked for Emma fearing Snowing because of something they said: I'm afraid these have been too closely covered.

Guest who asked for a 3rd part to Emma's new brother: sorry, but I've already covered Mother's Day for this year.

James: I'm afraid I've never seen Doctor Doolittle.

Accidental: I'm afraid I've already covered teen pregnancy.

Snow followed the sounds of the sniffling in the house. Someone was crying and her instincts told her that it was one of her children. She suspected Neal had possibly had a fall out with one of his little friends again, so Snow was surprised when she opened the door to the bathroom and found not Neal crying against the bathtub, but Emma.

"Emma?" Snow asked, alarmed. "Honey, what's wrong?"

"I-I don't know!" Emma wailed. "I just can't stop crying. It's not even my period!" Snow smiled gently at her humour, but she couldn't help but feel a touch worried. It wasn't like Emma to cry, and it certainly wasn't like her to cry without knowing the reason. All Snow knew was that Emma needed her, even if she didn't know why. Snow got down on the floor beside Emma and wrapped her arms around her. It was testament to how Emma was feeling that she wrapped her own arms around her mom, clutching at her shirt, and rested her head against her shoulder.

"There." Snow said softly. "You're ok honey. I'm right here. You're safe." Snow began to rock with Emma automatically, as she often did when she hugged her. Emma's sobs began to subside. Snow pressed a small kiss to the crown of her head. "That's better. You ok?" Emma nodded, but didn't speak. She didn't want her mom to leave, and Snow seemed to be able to sense it. She didn't try and move or coax Emma into speaking. She just sat and held her, allowing her daughter to draw any comfort she needed from her.
