Dada
FictionLover12 asked for a oneshot of Charming trying to get Neal to say dada but he keeps saying mama. He gets frustrated and says "Say dad damn it" resulting in Neal saying damn. When Snow and Emma return, they hear Neal say it and when Snow asks where he learned it from Neal says dada making Emma laugh.
RoseRed: I'm afraid I've already covered extreme allergies.
Guest who asked for a sequel to Ch952 "Not a good time" I'm not sure how I'd make a sequel for that chapter. Although thank you for giving both the chapter # and name.
Molly: I'm afraid I've said in a wee memo before I won't write any more of Emma being raised by anyone else other than her parents. However I know somewhere there are a couple of oneshots under that request already written :)
Alice: I've already covered Henry's first date :)
Americsn idol: takes his anger out on a pregnant Snow? And a person would get blocked if they either repeatedly ignore my gap rule and spam my email with requests despite being politely asked not to. Or, repeatedly demanding requests from me, again, despite being politely asked not to. Or in some cases, both.
"Ok Neal, say da-da." Charming cooed. With Snow and Emma out getting the groceries together this was his chance to work on the word with his son without giving away his "he'll say it when he's ready" cover.
"Mama." The little boy replied with a loving smile. Charming ran his hand down his face before putting back on a reassuring smile. He'd been trying to get Neal to say dada ever since he'd said mama a fortnight ago.
"Yeah, very good buddy but I'm not mama, am I?" Charming then pointed to himself. "Da-da. You say it, come on. Da-da." Charming really put emphasis on each syllable to try and help his son. Neal's face furrowed in concentration and Charming's heart started pounding in his chest. Was this is? Was this the moment.
"Mama." Neal said happily. Charming groaned.
"Damn it Neal, dada. Say dada."
"Damn." Neal said. He looked up at his dad with a sparkle in his eye as Charming's eyes widened in horror. No, anything but that!
"No no Neal. Not that, forget that word. Dada." Charming said quickly, desperately hoping to get him to forget damn before Snow returned. But it was too late, Neal was so proud of his new word he was repeating it over and over again.
Charming was still trying ten minutes later when Snow and Emma returned with the groceries.
"Where's my little boy then?" Snow cooed, picking Neal up and kissing his nose. "What have you been doing then?"
"Damn." Neal said proudly. Snow just about dropped him in shock. She turned and glared at Charming.
"What have you done?" She grumped. Charming held his hands up in defence.
"It wasn't me, I swear! He must have picked it up from the dwarves when they babysat last week. Snow knew her husband too well to know that he was lying.
"Neal, where did you learn that word?" Snow asked, hoping he'd point at his daddy. But instead Neal proudly proclaimed
"Dada." And beamed right at Charming. Emma fell about the floor laughing, they couldn't make this up.
"Oh sure now he says it." Charming grumbled. "Great job little man."
