One love?

FictionLover12 asked for a oneshot of Snowing having a cheesy conversation during the pre-curse days in the EF. Snow says "Promise me I'll be the only woman you'll love." Charming responds with "I can't promise you that". Snow gets sad before Charming continues with "I'll love her, protect her, and take care of her with all my life...and she'll call you mama."

I regret naming this chapter as such because now the Blue song with the same name is stuck in my head!

Snow and Charming's relationship had always been a turbulent one. So it was no surprise that during the good, easy, times (such as not long after their wedding) they could hardly keep their hands off each other. Every night the pair would find themselves in their luxuriant, king-sized four poster bed cementing their love for each other long into the night.

It was on one of these passionate nights, that the thought occurred to Snow. Just as Charming was kissing his way down from her earlobe to her chest- what if something happened to her? Snow couldn't deny that she was a selfish lover, but she would return the favour. If something were to happen to her Charming she would spend the rest of her days alone, for she knew she could love no other man.

"Charming." She said breathlessly, placing her hands on his cheeks and pulling his head up. "Stop for a moment."

"Snow." He growled impatiently.

"Just a second, I promise." Snow breathed. Charming sighed, but looked up into his wife's eyes. "Promise me I'll be the only woman you love." Snow said seriously. She couldn't take it if her Charming was with someone else. Charming propped himself up on his elbows to be able to hold the position better.

"I can't promise you that." Charming responded. Snow's heart sank. Did he not feel the same way about her? Snow looked down, fearing she was about to burst into tears. Charming moved one hand to cup her chin so she had to look at him. "This other girl…I'll love her, protect her and take care of her with all my life…"

"Well alright there's no need to rub it in." Snow snapped bitterly. Charming covered her mouth with his index finger. Snow had to fight very hard not to bite it.

"And," Charming continued "she'll call you mama." Snow's heart soared again, suddenly understanding. Charming smiled gently at her. "Because the only other girl I could love, Snow White, will be our girl. After we've had our boy, of course. I'll need some help protecting her…" Charming wasn't able to say anything else as Snow's lips were suddenly pressed hard against his.

Thirty years later

"So this is the other girl, huh?" Snow said amusedly. Charming looked at her, confused. "Just over thirty years ago you told me there would be another woman in your life that you would protect, care for and love. Well I can't say that I blame you. She sure is something. As long as you know there's another man in my life." Snow said, stroking her son's cheek as he played in his playpen. Charming chuckled, coming over and wrapping his arms around his wife.

"What do you say we get our girl to take our boy to the park so we can have some time to ourselves?" He said with his trademark charming grin. Snow smiled in return, wrapping her arms around his neck and pressing her body close to his.

"I'd say I think that sounds like a wonderful idea."
