Princess duties
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma having to take on princess duty in Storybrooke and after she's done with it in City Hall everyone takes a bow and she wants to bury her head in the ground. Snowing are there to calm her.
Guest who asked for Henry being the paste eating kid: sorry, but that's not really a thing here so I don't really get it :S
Guest who asked for a sequel to Ch982: I think if I write any more breastfeeding stories right now I'll have my head chewed up and spat back out haha.
Bubba I'm afraid that has already been too closely covered :).
For those of you on Twitter you should be aware that Josh Dallas recently reached 500K followers so be on the lookout for an Ask Josh hashtag. As for the rest of the Charming crew Ginnifer Goodwin hasn't really used twitter since Oliver was born so I don't think we'll get an Ask Ginny any time soon. Jennifer Morrison does do quite a few Ask Jen sessions and Jared Gilmore doesn't really do Ask Jared sessions, he's a bit young for them really :). IMO the best cast member on twitter I find is Lana Parrilla although Rebecca Mader, Sean Maguire and Colin O'Donoghue are all not bad. Sorry, tangent over, on with the story!
Emma had seen how much her parents were struggling with raising Neal and now stepping up back to their roles as rulers and running the town like they did their kingdom. Emma decided that since she was technically a princess (however much the term mad her gag) and she was already in a position of power as the sheriff anyway she might as well take on some of their royal duties and help ease the pressure off them. One such duty was hosting the monthly town meeting. Emma had agreed to take the meeting in February, March and April, and this was her first meeting. She couldn't deny that she was more than a little nervous, but she knew she could do this. It was just dealing with a few odd questions. Her parents were still going to be in the room anyway so if she felt like she was drowning they'd be able to step in and save her.
Emma was happy that the meeting went quite well. Mr Brooks was satisfied that the market would now open half an hour earlier every second Saturday and Mrs Rosenblat that stricter rules were being put in place to prevent dog mess while Dr Hopper wasn't made to feel like it was all just people picking on him and Pongo.
"Well I think that's everything. Thanks everyone." Emma said, letting them know the meeting was over. At once, everyone got up and suddenly gave her a steep bow. They looked up at her expectantly. Emma froze. She wanted the ground to swallow her up. What did they want her to do?! Surely not curtsey back or something? No, that would be too weird. Emma looked over at her parents clearly wanting help. They both smiled reassuringly at her
"You're dismissed." Her dad mouthed at her.
"Uh, you're dismissed." Emma repeated aloud to the crowd. Only then did they begin to shuffle out of the building. Emma let out a breath she hadn't been aware she was holding in. The whole royal thing was going to take some getting used to.
