Broken
A guest asked for a oneshot of Emma breaking the curse when she is 18 and pregnant. Snowing's reactions to finding their 18 year old daughter pregnant.
"So what do we do now?" Red asked her friends and rulers as she came out of her hug with Granny.
"Now," Snow said, barely able to contain the tingles of excitement pulsing through her. "Now I find my daughter." She glanced up at Charming who nodded at her, a similar smile on his face.
"So it's true." Came a voice from behind them. Snow and Charming turned. Snow couldn't believe she'd been so blind this entire time. She'd taken the young girl in when she'd arrived with only a car and a belly full of baby. Of course Snow and Charming now noticed that. This was their eighteen year old daughter…and she was pregnant. Emma had hinted to Mary Margaret Blanchard that she was going to put this baby up for adoption because she couldn't be a mother. Snow now realised it was because Snow had never given Emma the example she deserved.
Snow and Charming slowly approached her. Emma looked down, feeling uncomfortable at the level of love in their eyes. Snow couldn't contain herself any longer. She wrapped her arms around Emma.
"You found us." She said happily. Charming joined the group hug. He cradled the back of Emma's head like he had the day she was born. Emma stood frozen between them, unsure how to react.
The tender moment was only broken by a sharp kick from Emma's unborn child. Snow felt it against her own stomach.
"And you." She said, pulling away. "You're my grandchild…Charming, we're going to be grandparents." Snow wasn't sure exactly how she felt about that given both her own and Emma's age, and neither was Charming. But there would be time for questions later when Emma was more comfortable with them. Charming placed his hand on Emma's belly.
"Yes we are." He said. Emma shifted uncomfortably at the contact. She also didn't think it was a good idea, them getting so attached. Snow looked up, knowing Emma's plans about adoption.
"You're not alone anymore, Emma." She said gently. "You have parents who believe or not love you more than the world. Don't do what we had to, don't give up your child. It's the worst pain imaginable." Emma was not having this discussion with them.
"Let's just go find Regina before someone kills her." Emma said, moving away from them. Snow and Charming looked at each other sadly. That had not gone how they hoped it might have. Charming joined his hand with Snow's. Emma had been very broken when she had arrived in Storybrooke. Living with Mary Margaret had helped mend some of her brokenness, but not completely. Maybe the love of both her parents with their memories restored had a stronger chance of that. But one thing was certain: it would take time.
