Wedding number 2

Marina Ka-Fai asked for a oneshot of Charming realising that he and Snow never officially married in our world so organises a second wedding and asks for her hand again.

"It's nice when it's just you and me." Snow sighed happily, leaning against Charming's side as they strolled peacefully down the beach hand in hand. "I mean, I love our children and our grandson dearly, but it's nice to just spend some quality time with you. I've missed that."

"Yeah, me too." Charming agreed with her. The sun created a comforting warmth with just enough light sea breeze as they walked along to keep them cool in the glorious summer's evening. The reds, oranges and pinks in the sky told them the sun was getting ready to set. The sea lapped lazily at the shore, the perfect romantic stroll. Charming couldn't deny he had ulterior motives for this walk with Snow. And at exactly halfway along the little beach Charming halted their progress, ready to reveal them to her. He turned to face her, taking her other hand as well. "Snow White, you are the love of my life." He told her. "Together we have been through so much, and I couldn't have done any of it without you by my side."

"Charming you sound like you're proposing to me." Snow laughed. She knew Charming was a hopeless romantic, but this was quite elaborate even for him. Charming grinned at her.

"Well…" Charming took Snow by surprise and got down on one knee, pulling a little ring box from his pocket. "Maybe that's because I am."

"Charming?" Snow asked, a little confused. "We're already married."

"I know that, but never officially in this world. I'll take any excuse to marry you again, Snow White. So what do you say? Will you marry me?" Snow reached down and tugged at Charming's arms before attaching her lips to his.

"What do you think?" She asked when she eventually pulled away before slipping the beautiful diamond ring on her finger alongside Ruth's ring. Charming laughed heartily and picked her up, spinning her around. When he set her down he tenderly pressed his forehead to hers.

"I promise to love you for all eternity. I promise to always protect you, our children and our grandson. I promise to…"

"You're not meant to make the vows until the wedding, silly." Snow laughed.

"Well I'm just practising for next week…" Snow's eyes widened. "Next week?! You've planned this?" Charming grinned at her.

"Well it's just as well you said yes. We have a very excited bridesmaid, groomsman and ring bearer at home. Well, Neal gurgled when I told him so I assume he's excited." Snow laughed and kissed her husband again.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" She asked.

"Once or twice. But it doesn't ever hurt to hear it again." He replied. Snow kissed her husband with such vigour the pair tumbled to the sand, but that didn't stop them both. For they were far too lost in each other to care.
