Emmy wemmy- part 2
XzanderB asked for a oneshot of a prequel to Ch1009 "Emmy wemmy" where we see the fight between Snow and Emma.
"It is ten pm." Snow said coolly. "You are meant to be home by eight. Nobody has seen or heard from you since dinner let alone your guard. Where have you been?"
"I've just been taking a walk in the woods, big deal." Emma said, rolling her eyes. "I didn't need Richard to babysit me. I can look after myself. I'm not a baby."
"I swear if your father was here and not on that diplomatic meeting in Agrabah he would be going through you right now Emma Ruth." Snow said, fighting to keep even vaguely calm. "Do you even realise how dangerous that could have been? Do you? Don't play stupid Emma we raised you better than that; you know how many enemies we have out there, and how much they'd love to get their hands on you. By going out alone, particularly when it's dark, you're playing right into their hands! And what, all for trying to convince me that you're an adult now? You think this impresses me Emma? Ditching Richard and intentionally putting yourself in harm's way? Emma I am so disappointed in you."
"Maybe I just wanted some time to myself! I can't so much as scratch my nose without someone reporting back to you!"
"Oh don't be so overdramatic." Snow snapped. "Did it ever occur to you that your father and I are so cautious with you because we love you so much? That we don't want villains coming and taking you away like they've threatened to so many times?"
"And I've already said that I can look after myself! I'm not a child anymore!" Emma raged. Suddenly Snow's face cleared. Like out of nowhere she was going to stop arguing. Emma couldn't believe it- had she won?
"You might not be a child Emma, but you will always be my child. Now go on upstairs, you need your rest. Goodnight Emma."
"Uh- goodnight." Emma said, surprised by the lack of punishment. Surely this was too good to be true?
