Dating profile
snoopykid asked for a oneshot of Henry coming across Emma's online dating profile. Charming freaks out and Emma has to explain it from her days as a bail bonds person- specifically from the date in the pilot episode.
Prisky0731: My dear, you've clearly never broken your ankle if you think you can walk around haha
Any TWD fans out there? Ethan Embry (Greg Mendell/Owen Flynn) and Sonequa Martin-Green (Tamara) are going to be reunited there haha. Shame Michael Raymond-James (Neal Cassidy) and Brighton Sharbino (young Ingrid/ Sarah Fisher) aren't in it anymore otherwise it would be a quadruple OUAT reunion!
"Um, grandpa? You should really come see this." Henry said. Charming came and sat beside him on the couch. Henry swivelled the laptop round so he could see what was on the screen.
" ? Henry, aren't you a little young to be…" Charming's voice trailed off when he actually began to read what was on the screen. This wasn't a profile for Henry, this was Emma's profile. The photo of her as her profile picture…let's just say that alone disturbed Charming. He wasn't brave enough to read the information she'd given, and didn't ask Henry if he had; he didn't want to know. "Henry, how did you even find this?" Charming asked instead.
"I just googled mom's name." Henry answered innocently. Charming nodded and took the laptop from him.
"Well that's enough google for one day." He said, shutting the lid. "Why don't you go play a video game or something?" Henry nodded, grateful for the excuse to leave the tension of the room.
Henry came back after her evening with Hook to find her dad sitting with the laptop open in the living room.
"Care to explain?" He asked. "Emma came over and looked at the screen. To Charming's surprise, she smirked.
"Are you cheating on mom? Because that's not very charming." She joked, but Charming didn't see the funny side.
"No of course not. Henry found this when he googled your name. What's this about Em?" Charming asked. Emma had to smile at his concerned dad tone.
"Dad, relax. I haven't so much as looked at this since before I moved here. It wasn't exactly real anyway, it was more a fishing device, if you will. I used it as a bail bonds person to lure out the assholes who jumped their bail." Emma explained. Charming didn't look much happier.
"Is that safe? How did you know they wouldn't drag you down an alley somewhere and…" Charming couldn't even finish the sentence. Emma rested a hand on his shoulder.
"Because a: I can handle myself. And b: I was never stupid enough to meet with them anywhere that wasn't going to be filled with people." Emma promised him. "I'll delete it right now if it'll put your mind at rest. Not like I need it anymore."
"Please." Charming said, letting out a sigh of relief as he handed her the laptop. He never thought he'd be so grateful for her relationship with Hook.
