Forty eight hours- part 3

allywolf5 asked for a oneshot of a third instalment to Ch1013 "Forty eight hours" where the kidnapper walks in on the rescue attempt and threatens Emma's life. Snowing beats him up and finds out who he is. As usual with 3rd instalments this will be the last I write.

"Honey nobody is taking you again. You're safe. We need to get you out of here…"

"She's not going anywhere." A voice snarled from the doorway. Snow and Charming looked up. There stood a hooded figure. A hooded figure holding a revolver. Snow instinctively moved in front of Charming, who was still holding Emma.

"Emma's coming home with us." Snow barked back. "You've tortured her enough. She's not staying here a second longer."

"Put the bitch back in the chair, tie her up and walk away." They snarled. "Or I shoot the pair of you right through the skull and she watches as your brains paint the walls." Snow and Charming didn't move.

"We're not the only ones who know where she is. We have eight other people who will be here if we're not back in another five minutes. Even if you do shoot us, think you can find another good hiding spot before then?" Of course the dwarves and Red weren't coming in five minutes, but they didn't need to know that. "This is over. Give yourself up."

"You deserve to feel the pain you put me through!" The kidnapper barked.

"We don't even know who you are. Show yourself and we can talk about this. But I don't care who you are, you're not keeping my daughter here." Charming said, trying to talk them down.

"No!" They yelled. A car backfired outside, causing them to startle just for a moment. Snow took her chance and lunged forward. She kicked the gun out of their hand and slammed them against the wall. Charming carefully placed Emma down and went to help her. Charming pinned the lowlife up by the throat.

"Nobody." He snarled. "Threatens my little girl. Snow forcefully yanked the hood down. Neither Snow or Charming recognised the person underneath.

"You don't even remember me, do you?" The man snarled. "Malcolm Bailey, for your information. "I was a trader back home. You had me struck off from trading within the palace grounds for a little bit of underhand dealing." Charming's eyes narrowed as he remembered this guy.

"A little underhand dealing? Your workers and their families were starving because you were paying them peanuts!"

"I lost everything!" The man fought back.

"Because you were scum back then and you're scum now. You think you can kidnap our daughter and torture her. Huh pal?" Snow struck a blow to his nose that slammed his skull back against the wall. Charming then kneed him so hard in the groin he wasn't sure he'd be able to urinate. He didn't care. Snow and Charming let him go to slide down the wall. They moved back over to Emma and Charming scooped her up.

"We're going home." Snow promised her. Emma nodded, resting against her dad. It was over.
