Walking funny

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snow noticing that Emma is walking strangely. She doesn't respond, but Snow continues to ask. Emma eventually answers that she had coffee last night with Killian.

"I love these little family strolls through the park." Snow said happily.

"Yeah, they're swell." Emma said, walking alongside her mom who was pushing the stroller. Charming was cavorting along the grass with Henry fighting with the wooden swords. Snow looked beside her. Was Emma limping?

"Are you alright?" She asked her daughter. "You're walking kinda funny."

"I'm fine." Emma said curtly. Snow looked closer, no, she was definitely walking weirdly.

"Emma have you hurt your leg? If so you should have said. You shouldn't be walking on it. I'll call your dad and Henry over and we'll stop at the next bench…"

"No, don't do that!" Emma said quickly. "My legs are fine, I promise. Can we just keep going?" Emma asked. Snow wasn't prepared to drop it that easily.

"Emma what's wrong with you? If it's not your legs what it is? You're definitely not walking normally. Is it your back? Have you hurt it? Maybe it's your foot. With so many bones in their it can be hard to notice exactly if you've hurt a bone there…"

"It's not my back or either of my feet ok?" Emma snapped. Snow was taken aback. She was just trying to be helpful. Emma felt bad for snapping, she felt she owed her mom an explanation. She certainly wasn't going to drop it until she got one.

"Hook and I…we had some pretty good…coffee last night." Emma said sheepishly, unable to look at her mom. "Ok?"

"Coffee? Why would that…oh I see." Snow said, catching on. Snow looked in the opposite direction from Emma. "I'm sorry I asked." Some things a mother didn't need to know.

"Well I did try to warn you." Emma grumbled. "You weren't going to let up until you got the truth out of me."

"Lesson learnt." Snow replied. She would never again question her daughter on why she was walking funny. In fact, she hoped to never see her walking funny again.
