Empathy
diya mehta2 asked for a oneshot of a member of the Charming family helping Regina find her lost daughter Amy.
"Where is she?" Regina asked, becoming frustrated. She created a small ball of energy and chopped down a large branch from a nearby tree.
"Regina that's not going to help." Snow said calmly. "We need to just keep following the trail from the location spell. We'll find her."
"She could have done some sort of anti-tracking spell, she's got enough control for that."
"Regina, I know it's hard but you need to stay calm…"
"How can I stay calm? My daughter is missing! You don't understand." Regina snapped. Snow stayed silent for a moment, knowing Regina was just scared.
"I think I know more than most how you feel." Snow said calmly. Regina stopped for a moment and looked at Snow. "I've lost my daughter before. I know how scared you are. I know how worried you are that something terrible is happening. I know how much you just want to have Amy back in your arms and never have to let go again. She is your child, and as far as you're concerned she has been taken from you. You have a hole inside you that cannot be filled until she's back." Regina just looked at Snow, lost for words. Regina knew it was because of her that Snow lost her daughter the first time, and there were no words of apology that could make that better. Snow smiled in a way that Regina knew meant it was all in the past, Snow was not mad at her anymore. "Come on, let's find her, she can't have gone much farther." Snow started moving forward and Regina moved behind her. Snow was right, she needed Amy back.
