Be careful what you dream of
bluerose921 asked for a oneshot of Emma's dreams coming to life when she gets stressed.
She didn't ever mean to do it. It always just seemed to happen. Whenever Emma got stressed, her magic seemed to convert any dreams she had (whether they be good or bad) to reality. She felt like Leonardo DiCaprio in Inception. It had led to such weird scenarios as going into work one day to find the station filled with red balloons to having a yeti chase her and Henry down Main Street.
The most annoying thing about it, was it then became a tell to her family that she was stressed about something. They had become quickly quick at working out the pattern of strange seemingly random events. They had practically forced her into speaking to both Archie and Regina about it (apparently when a vampire fairy tries to drain the blood from your infant son that's when it's time to seek help). Regina told her it was just a magical kneejerk reaction that would sort itself as her body adapted to the large amount of power her magic created. Archie insisted on weekly sessions which drove Emma bonkers. I mean, he was Jiminy Cricket for crying out loud! He was forever asking about how her conscience affected her dreaming rather than her stress levels. Emma knew he meant well, but in her opinion it didn't really change anything. She was happier with Regina's advice (for a change): suck it up. She just had to get used to the magic inside her.
