Honeymoon

A guest asked for a oneshot of Snowing on their honeymoon

They lay together in the glow of the gentle early morning light. Snow rested her head against her husband's chest and listened to the persistent rhythm of his heartbeat. She couldn't believe she'd wasted the beginning of this beautiful break from their responsibilities chasing after Medusa. But she would not waste any more of their precious time. She would spend the rest of it enjoying her new husband's company. Her husband. She would never tire of that word. It cemented that they belonged to each other for eternity.

Charming twirled his fingers through his wife's long raven like hair, watching the light dance off it. He could not believe she was his wife. Who would have thought it? The shepherd boy from a tiny little village stealing the heart of the bandit princess. Now here they were after proclaiming that love to their family and friends. Sure, it had been interrupted by Regina, but they would not let her ruin this. Charming refused to let her. He would protect Snow from her jealousy and obsession with ill-sought vengeance. He would do his best to convince Snow that her threats were empty, and that they could not live their lives under them. Charming smiled, they had their whole lives together now. But he didn't want to look too far ahead right now. Right now he just wanted to focus on the here and now. On their honeymoon, which was nowhere near over yet.
