A good home- part 2

nikia asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch1061 "A good home" where the original curse doesn't take away their memories. Snowing find Emma and try to take her out of the Torres' home but Emma refuses to leave.

Alison, guest and guest: I'm afraid these have been too closely covered.

Guest: huh?

Guest: I'm afraid that would be straying too far away from the Charming family.

"I don't understand." The eleven year old said as she sat with the Torres', Laverne her social worker and the two strangers. "How can you be sure they aren't lying? I'm not stupid; I know what human trafficking is."

"Do you remember that swab I got you to take?" Laverne asked her. Emma nodded. "That was for a DNA test, sweetheart. You were stolen from your parents. They didn't give you up." Emma looked at her supposedly biological parents. She couldn't look directly at them for too long, their gaze was very intense. She then looked at Julie and Tim. They were smiling encouragingly, but Emma could tell they were in pain. She'd been in this home for months, she highly suspected she was never going to leave.

"What if I don't want to go?" Emma asked, looking at the floor. "I'm sorry, but Julie and Tim are my parents. I don't know you guys. How do I know you aren't horrible?"

"We can understand that Emma, but please give us a chance. If you're really unhappy, we'll understand." The man took a deep breath. "You could even come back and live here if Mrs and Mrs Torres were willing." Emma looked up, she could tell he wasn't lying. "Even if you choose not to, we're not expecting you to lose touch. You can call and write as often as you like and we'll even drive you up to visit when we can. Emma we're not here to turn your life upside down, we're here because we love you and we've missed enough of your life. Please, come home with us." Emma looked up at Julie hopelessly. She didn't know what to do.

"Go Emma." Julie said kindly. "We will always consider you part of our family, but you have a chance here that I think you'll regret if you don't take. Give them a chance." Emma felt herself tearing up. She'd had so many disappointments in her life, was she really able to risk one of the few good homes she'd found? But Julie was right, Emma couldn't deny she was cautiously ambitious. Her bio parents seemed like kind people. Slowly, she nodded. If she could come back here, what did she have to lose?
