New hairdo

LittleSneaker asked for a oneshot of Neal cutting Emma's hair while she's sleeping. Kitkat I've combined in your request of Neal also dipping it in bright pink paint along with her hands.

A loud scream from the bathroom sent Snow and Charming sprinting up the stairs and pounding on the door.

"Emma what's wrong?! Let us in!" Charming shouted, worried someone had broken in. They stood back as they heard the bolt slide across the door and were taken aback by the sight. Emma stood in front of them, but she did not look like she had last night. Her blond waves were now mismatching lengths and all her hair was splattered with bright pink paint. She held up the palms of her hands too to show that they were also covered in the paint.

"I woke up like this!" Emma told them. "I must have been sleepwalking or something. I can't leave the house like this!" Just then, Neal came out onto the landing.

"Oh good, you saw your new makeover!" The six year old said happily. Snow and Charming looked between a delighted looking Neal and a horrified looking Emma.

"My…what?" Emma said, fighting to stay even remotely calm.

"You said to mom and dad yesterday that you wanted a new hairstyle, so I gave you one! You said you might dye your hair so I did that too."

"Now Emma," Snow said, seeing Emma's nostrils flair. "Stay calm, he was just trying to be helpful…"

"Helpful?" Emma hissed. "He does this to me and you're passing it off as helpful?"

"No, we know it wasn't Emma but we're saying try not to lose your rag." Charming added in. "Neal, go down and sit on the couch. We need to have a little chat about being helpful." He said. Neal sighed but made his way downstairs. His sister was so ungrateful sometimes! Charming then turned his attention back to Emma. "Now," he said "Have you tried using your magic to return your hair to normal? You know, like Harry Potter does when his Aunt Petunia shaves off basically all his hair other than his fringe? Try it." Emma took a few deep breaths to calm herself down before closing her eyes and concentrating. Sure enough, the paint siphoned off and her hair grew back to its normal length. Emma looked in the bathroom mirror and breathed a sigh of relief. She then looked back out to her parents.

"I'm still getting a lock put on my door now." She informed them. Snow and Charming didn't argue, they could see why she would.
