Immunisations
4565 asked for a oneshot of Snow dragging Emma to get her immunizations from the doctor after finding out she never had any.
"I think if I've escaped measles, mumps and rubella thus far in life I'm likely to avoid them for the rest of my life." Emma protested one last time as she sat in the reception area of the doctor's surgery with her mom.
"And as I've already said to you Emma that is not necessarily the case. If you're not willing to do it for you, do it for Neal. Even if you don't catch one you could be a carrier and then pass it to Neal. So, grin and bear it. You are getting these injections…"
"Actually, it's just one injection." The doctor said, having overhead the tail end of the conversation as he came to call Emma through. "We thought it would be easier to combine the inoculations into the one injection. Emma's face drained of colour as she imagined the size of the needle going into her arm. She badly wanted to about turn and forget the whole thing, but even if she tried she knew her mom would be dragging her through. So slowly, dragging it out, Emma got up and wandered through to the appointment room with her mom following hot on her heels, just wishing to make sure Emma didn't chicken out. Emma sat down on the plastic sheet covered bed.
"Ok Miss Swan, this will just take a moment." When the Doctor turned round Emma nearly jumped out of her skin at the size of the needle.
"Hey Emma, your brother took his first step."
"Wait, what?!" Emma asked, when did she miss that? The doctor knew what Snow was doing and jabbed the needle into Emma's arm.
"Ouch! Son of a…"
"Language!" Snow said. "And if you don't cry you can get whichever colour of lollipop you want for being a big brave girl." Snow gently teased. Emma glowered at her mom. That was a dirty trick!
