Judgement

Pippa asked for a oneshot of Snowing trying to reprimand Emma for having an affair with a married man. She gets defensive and calls them hypocrites because of what happened before the curse was broken. I'm setting this as though *Season 4 finale spoilers* Hook's death was final.

Sterling: Zelena's trap?

Winnie the Pooh, guest and Sofi: I'm afraid these have been too closely covered.

oncer101: huh?

Guest: I'm afraid that would mean Snow didn't have Neal immunised.

Guest: Sorry, but I don't know that I could write a sequel to that chapter.

Happy: I think I may have wrote you a note about that on a previous chapter.

"Emma we're just saying think about this." Snow said as calmly as possible. "Dylan and Rachel are married. You'd be causing a marriage breakdown and eventual divorce. Is that really something you want on your conscience?"

"Well isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?" Emma snarled. "Do you not remember what the pair of you were like? Sneaking behind Kathryn's back?" Snow and Charming knew if they broached the subject it was only a matter of time before Emma brought this up.

"Emma you know that was different." Charming sighed. "We were under Regina's curse. Your mother and I were married, underneath our cursed selves we must have known that."

"Oh, so that makes it ok? Even as your cursed selves you knew what you were doing and the emotions it would cause Kathryn. Dylan doesn't love Rachel. He hasn't for years. He's stayed with her for Karley and Jessy. He thinks they're old enough now to understand. She manipulates him emotionally. If it was the other way round people would be applauding her for leaving him. Why is it any different because he's the man?" Emma didn't need to stand here and listen to their judgement. She and Dylan loved each other. They had a right to be together. Heaven knows Emma deserved some happiness after what happened to all her exes. Emma had told Henry about her and Dylan a week ago. Like her parents he was a bit worried about the outrage it would cause and the abuse his mom would have to put up with, but he came across as a lot less judging. Emma stormed out of the house, not really caring what her parents thought. This was her life, she'd live it her way.
