The drugs talking- part 2

Swanswan asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch504 "The drugs talking" where the drugs wear off and Emma is embarrassed. She and Snow have a heart to heart.

Couple of notes on this one. One: I will no longer be accepting sequel requests when the original was over one hundred oneshots ago. Two: I will also no longer no longer be accepting requests for requests where the original chapter's name and chapter number wasn't given in the request. Sorry to be stingy guys but with life getting busier I can't be going around checking up on those kind of things!

As soon as Emma heard her mom on the landing carrying up the tray with her dinner Emma quickly ducked under the quilt. Snow came into the room, saw Emma, and sighed.

"Emma, would you quit that? You're being ridiculous." Snow said. Emma didn't respond in any way. Snow placed the tray down on Emma's bedside table and yanked the quilt off of her. Emma glared up at her before trying to snatch it back, but Snow held it out of reach. "Emma you cannot hide under there forever. You are totally overacting. You just got a little mushy because of very strong pain medication, it's no big deal!"

"Well it's a big deal to me." Emma grumbled, folding her arms across her chest like a toddler in a huff. "I don't do mushy. I don't do big emotions. Whenever I did people always let me down and I ended up looking really stupid." Emma admitted. Snow couldn't stand the heartbroken look on her daughter's face. She sat on the edge of the bed and took Emma's face in her hands.

"I promise to endeavour to never let you down." Snow said seriously. "You are my daughter, and your wellbeing is my main priority, that includes your emotional wellbeing, so I could never hurt you. You're safe being mushy with your dad and I Em." Emma nodded, but pulled her face away and looked away. Snow desperately wanted to just gather Emma up and hug her so tight she'd fix all her broken pieces together. If only that were possible.
