Charm bracelet

I'd rather live in books asked for a oneshot of Emma getting Snow a charm bracelet with various things that make Emma think of her mom (i.e. a bow, two hearts joined and the letters E, N and H). She has various family members and friends give her boxes with the charms throughout the week.

I know there's been a lot of chapters today, I start uni again tomorrow and I wanted to have a clean slate before I started back so it'd be easier to keep up with your requests, especially as the new season approaches!

Snow began to expect the unexpected this week. Ever since Emma had given her the empty charm bracelet for her birthday. She had promised plenty charms had been purchased, each something Emma felt would make a connection with her mom. Emma didn't want to give her mother the charms herself, saying that she hated mushy stuff so would get others to do her dirty work for her.

The first charm Snow received was the next day from her Charming.

"Emma asked me to give you this one." Charming said, clearly having been in on the plan for a while. He slid a small box over to Snow. She opened it, eager to begin this little surprise journey. Inside was a delicate little silver charm, consisting of two heart outlines linked together. The charm was encrusted with little diamantes. "She said it reminded her of us. Two hearts, now joined together as one. A lot more literally for us than other couples perhaps." Charming joked. Charming took the little charm from her and clipped it onto a link in her bracelet. Snow felt tears building behind her eyes as she reached up and kissed her husband. What a beautiful way to start her morning.

The next day at lunch, Snow was surprised by Red.

"My turn." She said with a grin, sliding into the booth opposite Snow. She pulled a little box identical to the one Charming had gave her out of her money belt. Snow again eagerly opened the little box and found a small golden bow with an arrow loaded. "Emma thought this would remind you of your true self. The badass Enchanted Forest you. The one who dragged me on daring adventures. She just wanted you to know how awesome she thinks you are."

"She thinks I'm awesome?" Snow said, feeling pretty chuffed. Red nodded. Snow stared at the little charm in awe before fastening it on herself. Her baby girl thought she was awesome.

After that, it was Henry and three year old Neal who double teamed her.

"Us next." Henry said. He handed a box at a time over to Neal who gave them to Snow until she held three of the little boxes. Snow opened them one at a time to reveal an almost sapphire like letter H and a letter N of the same colour. The last box contained a ruby like letter E.

"That's us mama!" Neal proclaimed proudly. "Neal, Henry and Emma!"

"Mom thought you'd want us all on there too." Henry added. Snow nodded, kissing her grandson's cheek before picking up her toddler and kissing him on the nose.

"Of course I do." Snow said, voice filled with emotion. "Your mom and big sister thinks of everything, doesn't she?"

The last surprise came from no person. The box sat alone on the kitchen counter with only a note beside it when Snow got up five days after her birthday had passed. Snow read the note before opening the box.

Mom, this last one is from me and me alone. I wanted something special to us. I hope you like it, I think it's cheesy AF but it seems your kind of thing. Emma x

With much anticipation, Snow opened the little box. She pulled out the charm- a little pink baby bottle with the word baby written along the side in yellow. Snow understood it: baby girl. Her baby girl. It was not the charm itself that had Snow feeling so emotional, but the fact Emma was allowing some of her walls down and be a little mushy. Snow wouldn't make a big deal out of this, it would just ruin any progress that had been made through this. Instead she would just add the little charm to her bracelet and display it proudly.
