Wedding ring

Namika asked for a oneshot of Snow freaking out after losing her wedding ring during a group fight with some villains.

"Where is it where is it where is it?!" Snow shouted frantically, scanning every millimetre of the ground below her with her torch."

"Snow, I don't know if we'll find it." Charming said. "I know it's not ideal, but I'll get you a new one I promise…"

"I don't want a new one, that's my ring! I want my ring! I want the ring that went on my finger the day we got married. I want the ring that was on my finger the days both of our children were born. I want the ring that was on my finger for every I love you, every kiss, every time we made love…" Snow sighed, on the verge of tears. "It isn't just about the ring, I know that's just a band of metal. It's about the memories surrounding that little band of metal. Nothing can replace those." Charming could feel his wife's pain. He knew how much she got attached to objects. He pulled his wife into his arms.

"I know the ring can't be replaced, but that doesn't mean the memories are gone. You'll always have them. We'll always have them." He reminded her." Snow nodded against his chest, still feeling anguished. Charming rubbed soothing circles on her back. "We'll look again tomorrow when it's light." He promised her. He knew she was still hurting, and he wished he could make that stop. He didn't like Snow hurting. If he could pull the ring out of thin air he would, but he couldn't. He could just remind her that the objects weren't what was important. It was the memories they created.
