Selfish decision- part 2

FictionLover12 asked for a oneshot of a sequel to Ch1083 "Selfish decision" with angst.

I have now watched the episode! *Spoilers* Was not expecting that twist! Hope for more Charming family in it though.

Andrew: Sorry, but I couldn't write anything in a sequel to that chapter that I wouldn't have already written something very similar in another chapter.

Three hours later and Emma hadn't returned home. Charming had been out looking for her, but to no avail. She wasn't at Granny's, she wasn't in the forest and she wasn't anywhere near the beach. She also wasn't answering her phone, no matter how fret her parents sounded in the numerous messages they left her, both texts and answerphone messages. Charming had tried to convince Snow to leave her; that Emma would come back when she was ready, but Snow wasn't prepared to leave her for another second.

"I'm going to find her. I stayed with Henry last time, now we can swap." Snow said with determination, grabbing her coat and keys. She swiftly made her way out the front door, having a few destinations in mind to search.

Snow combed the docks first, but Emma wasn't there either. After that she went to the only other place she could see Emma hiding- Henry's castle. Snow made her way quickly to the dilapidated play area. There she was relieved to find Emma, sitting on the wooden steps, her arms wrapped tightly round her knees. Snow knew she had to approach this carefully, otherwise she'd just run. She used her bandit skills to slowly creep up on her. Emma suddenly found her mom in front of her, blocking escape.

"Move." Emma growled, not even looking at her mom. "I have nothing to say to you."

"Well tough because I have plenty to say to you." Snow replied. She refused to let Emma go again. "Emma I know what I did has affected you, and for that I am truly sorry. You have to know I wasn't trying to abandon you again…"

"It doesn't matter what your intentions were, you were still going to abandon me!" Emma screamed in her mom's face. "Face it, I've never been a priority to you from the second I was born. What you said to me in the Enchanted Forest was a lie. You have no intention of putting me first. First I was a curse breaker, now my job is done. You didn't think about any of us when you went to Regina. It didn't matter how I would feel. It didn't matter that I would be motherless once again." Snow could see the pain clear in Emma's eyes. She couldn't believe she'd been so stupid. She threw caution to the wind and reached out, cupping Emma's cheek.

"You will always be a priority to me." Snow said gently. "If Regina killed me there and then she wouldn't take her revenge out on you. Emma your safety is always my number one concern…" Emma scoffed.

"That wasn't what you were thinking and you know it. Don't lie." She said bitterly. Snow crouched down.

"Wasn't it?" She asked. Emma remained silent, having said all she wanted to say. "You're right, part of it was about me, I wanted to get rid of the guilt. However, you will always be part of every decision I make. I wanted to keep you safe. I promise you, Emma. Emma didn't answer, she didn't even look at her mom. "Please come home." Snow pleaded with her. Emma gave a short, sharp, nod. Snow moved back and allowed Emma to get up and storm off back to her car. She allowed herself to relax slightly. The damage wasn't completely repaired, but at least it was now under control.
